Strong, Controllable, and liable is the way I would describe this ball. Digs through the oil, easily predicable, and goes through the pins with ease. This ball has earned a spot in my tournament bag, don’t miss out!
TESTING ENVIRONMENT Type: Lakes Bowl House Shot BALL: 900 Global Vengeance Coverstock: RB91 Solid Cover Core: : Blast A.I. Your ball choice just got smarter. The Vengeance was built for medium–heavy to heavy oil conditions, delivering strength without overreaction. This all-new core and cover combination produces one of the most dynamic symmetrical balls in 900 Global history, creating a readable, confident shape that holds up from the first frame to the last. It picks up in the mid-lane, stays smooth as the lanes transition, and still finishes with purpose downlane. Strong enough to start league. Stable and predictable enough to last. Engineered for medium/heavy–heavy oil. Surprisingly good at everything else.” Now onto my review portion of this ball. When we drilled this ball up I was asked if I wanted to hit the surface? My PSO threw his the night before and as a strong ball he felt his was a tad slower. I wanted to see what the ball looked like on the fresh. It looked good and I really wanted to throw it up against the Transformer. The Transformer digs into the lane and is strong and allows me to use it for about one game before having to make a big move. Now with the Vengeance it too is strong but unlike the Transformer it gets through the heads very well and really starts hooking in the midlane and has a lot of pop left when it hits the pins. These two balls are both really good strong options that I feel can be in the same bag as there are two different shapes. Layout: 5 x 4 x 3 Surface: 2000 abralon with added Power Edge Polish Rev Rate: 470 Tilt: 13* The brand new 900 Global Vengeance brings a brand-new core and coverstock combination. The new Blast-AI core brings a low RG and very high Differential which was similar to the discontinued Sublime Focus but is more of a single density shape which allows for better overall continuation. The main difference here is the RB 91 Solid coverstock which is the strongest coverstock seen in a Symmetrical Solid in quite some time. I was able to test this on my typical 43ft house pattern with medium volume. At the box surface of 2000 abralon, I saw pretty strong and heavy roll on the fresh. Trying to play up the lane more gave me a lot of earlier hook and was not ideal to the conditions I was on. As I started to move left with my feet, I saw a better motion because the ball didn't read up front as quickly. For me, it needs more of a left to right motion through the front of the lane to see the correct midlane motion to go through the pins. Since my house pattern is not high volume, the box surface does not allow me to have ample use of the ball with my high rev rate. I decided to then put power edge polish on the ball to see if the shine allowed me to use the ball more frequently. I was pleasantly surprised at the ball motion I saw after adding the polish. Just like the factory surface, I still had a little trouble being straighter on the fresh. The strength of the core and cover still ultimately read the fronts too much and didn't continue well. As I got into around 20 with my feet throwing around 13 to 5, my eyes lit up. Much cleaner through the front of the lane with great continuation in the backend. It gave me area left and right of target that I don't usually see with strong cores. I was able to play up 10 and see hold and I was able to throw it to 5 and it blended the lanes pretty well. As I moved further left, the ball actually got better. It continued very well again getting it to the friction at 5 or missing in to 10. Like most stronger cover balls, the ball tends to roll out or use its energy up quickly when you get far left with your feet. I had no issues here at all. The Vengeance did not start to roll out until I got to around 35 with my feet which was truly impressive. I recommend this ball more for heavier oil conditions. If you are looking for a strong overall bowling ball, this could be a good ball. It does tend to continue very well if you can get the ball through the front part of the lane. Designed for the fresh, this would be the most optimal spot for it. However, you can polish it like I did and get more overall use out of it. Adam Chase Storm Staff
900 Global Vengeance - 800 Series Coverstock: Reserve Blend 91 Solid Core: Blast A.I. RG: 2.47 Differential: .055 (15 lbs) Layout: 4.75 x 4 x 3 PAP: 6" Right, 1 3/8" Up Axis Tilt: 16° Rotation: 51° Rev Rate: 450-500 Speed: 17-18 mph Location: Vista Lanes - Yorkville, NY Pattern: Kegel Carbon (Terrain Conditioner) Lane Surface: Anvilane Vengeance is here and it’s not apologizing. The Vengeance features the Reserve Blend 91 solid cover along with the brand new Blast A.I core. The RB 91 solid cover was specifically crafted to generate a balanced reaction that will last from the start to the end of league. The Blast A.I. core has the highest differential in the 900 Global line and will create a strong predictable mid-lane reaction while still saving energy downlane. The Vengeance gave me a great look sliding on 30, looking 17 at the arrows with my breakpoint around 8. As the lanes transitioned, I kept moving left and had no problem getting the ball through the pins. When compared to the Viking, the Viking was significantly cleaner through the fronts with a quicker downlane motion. On the house pattern, the Vengeance blended the cliff, hooked in the oil and didn’t overreact when it saw the dry. On medium/heavy to heavy volume tournament patterns, I would start with the Vengeance, then go to the Viking when I needed the ball to clear the fronts. The Vengeance sets a new standard for solid symmetric balls and is one of the most dynamic releases from 900 Global. Stop by your local Storm VIP pro shop to check it out! Available on January 30th. I drilled the Vengeance with my typical symmetrical solid drilling. A little stronger drilling that gets the ball started up a little earlier in the mid lane with a very continuous motion downlane. Strong, but not crazy strong. Early, but not forward. This ball accomplishes all of that. I've thrown it now on a couple different THS patterns with similar results. A ball that is strong enough to play through moderate amounts of oil, then has a very continuous and rounded motion off the dry. This ball is stronger than the Rockstar, but not as strong as say an Ion Max or Gem. So fits that gap very well. For anything but the heaviest of oil patterns, this should be the first ball out of the bag. The predictable motion makes it much easier to make decisions later in the block. Get some revenge on those pins with the 900 Global Vengeance. Brent Ritchie SPI Pro Shop Staff Member

The new 900 Global Strong Symmetric continues a legacy of performance that we've seen in the Zen and Sublime lines. The Vengence features a new core called the Blast A.I. You get great mid-lane and the additional carry you've come to expect from the Amplified Intertia addition around the weight-block. I tested the Vengeance on a house pattern that had a session of senior league immediately prior. This usually gives me a good idea of how the ball will roll in transition, about equivalent to the second game of a regular league session here. I was a little worried. Thinking of how quickly my sublime focus had wanted to face up in this same situation had me on guard. I really feel that the Vengeance is an improvement, at least for what I want the ball to do, over those previous lines. I liked the sublime focus and the zen master but my only criticism of them was that they read the friction pretty aggressively so they could get a bit forward. I used the same layout on my Vengeance that I had on my Sublime focus to see what the difference would be if any. I definitely saw a longer transition window with the vengeance. It was just a little cleaner through the front but it was much rounder and for me retained energy much better. I still felt like my best look was with a little firmer speed and playing closer to the friction but it felt much more forgiving for my style of play. I did try slowing down and shaping it more to see how it looked. I certainly didn't feel like I couldn't play this area of the lane, I just felt like I had more forgiveness when I didn't try to shape the ball as much. I think this ball has a place in everyone's bag but should be popular with speed dominant and rev challenged bowlers. I could see it being a staple for some of the lady and senior bowlers with less rev-rate. 900 Global Vengeance on PBA O'Neill. 5x3.5x2. I was super excited to throw this ball. It's very early, strong and controllable. Well, Vengeance (AKA “V”) has been all over the 900 Global page stating how good he is. So, I took it upon myself to see what he’s all about. After making two small adjustments (human error, of course), “V” kept striking, like he said he would. Definitely a person of his word! This video is even short, but sweet. This Vengeance is a strong symmetrical ball that is early rolling, but still have enough punch to go through the pins after respond to the friction. Low RG with a high differential, something that fits my game. This ball will be something that I will take with me to tournaments, especially within the next few weeks. All I can say is… V has arrived. Enough said.
The 900 Global Vengeance features a strong RB91 Solid Coverstock paired with the Blast A.I. asymmetric core, giving it a low RG and high differential that really promotes early read and heavy midlane traction. For me, it’s become my go-to when I need a solid that digs in but still gives me a predictable, continuous motion through the pins. Compared to the Rockstar, the Vengeance is clearly stronger and reads earlier, especially on heavier volume, where the Rockstar feels more like a smoother, medium-oil control piece. When I put it next to the Phaze II, the Phaze is still that smooth, benchmark classic, but the Vengeance gives me a little more overall hook and a stronger midlane presence, which I trust when the pattern is tighter or slicker. Get yours today!
Vengeance Dual Angle: 55 x 4 1/2 x 25 Storm Vector: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 1 3/4 The 900 Global Vengeance features the RB 91 Solid cover stock wrapped around the Strobe AI core. For me the Vengeance was early and strong. This is by the strongest symmetrical ball I have thrown in quite a while. This ball replaces the Rock Star in my bag, it is a touch earlier but stronger which is perfect for that benchmark shape.
As a right-handed bowler cruising in at about 14.5 mph with a 330 rev rate, I threw the 900 Global Vengeance on a typical 42-foot house pattern with strong back-ends—the kind that’ll snap harder than you when someone steals your last slice of pizza. Right out of the bag, the Vengeance looks serious, and it feels serious too. Through the heads it has a smooth read—clean enough to keep you outta trouble early, but with just enough presence to let you know it’s ready to dance later. With my speed and revs, it doesn’t try to do cartwheels; instead, it maintains a controlled, confident midlane motion and then unleashes a strong backend move that’s reliable without going full drama queen. On these strong back-ends, I saw a compact, angular finish that hit like it had plans and a schedule. That means it wasn’t just rolling mildly—I saw real continuation. And when I missed a tad inside or outside? The ball seemed to say, “I got this,” and rounded back into the pocket rather than throwing a tantrum. If there’s a personality type for this ball, it’s the teammate who shows up on time, does their job well, and then gives you a wink for good measure. It’s not the wildest ball in the rack, but it’s definitely one you’ll grab when you want power + control + confidence on a house pattern that kicks you a little on the back-end. Best Use Cases: • Medium to medium-heavy oil where you still want a strong finish • Bowlers who like angular backend motion with reliability • Transition ball when your stronger solids are hooking too early Bottom Line: The 900 Global Vengeance strikes with authority and leaves you smiling instead of frowning at your shot sheet. A solid choice when you want punch without panic—and with a name like Vengeance, you know it’s not here for small talk.
900 Global introduces its first release of 2026 with the all-new Vengeance! This symmetrical ball features the new Blast AI core, along with the RB 91 solid reactive cover stock. With its high differential and low RG, the Vengeance is designed to attack those heavy lane conditions. I drilled mine at 2000 fresh out of the box at 70 x 5 3/8 x 40. I found the Vengeance to be unlike any other solid. It IS strong! It picks up early in the mid lane, but tends to absorb the oil so fast, it’s not snappy the back part of the lane. Still smooth and controllable at the end. In comparison, the Vengeance, in my opinion, is a lot stronger than such balls like a Rockstar, Phaze 2, and Summit Ascent in the line of symmetrical solids. I find the Vengeance to be useful at the start of a tournament/league competition on fresher conditions so you can play a little straighter until your angles start to open up. Once they do, the Vengeance can get a little tricky based on your style of play, and you can switch to something less aggressive. Overall, I am very happy with this ball and will be a staple in my bag when it comes to bowling on those heavy lane conditions. Be sure to drill one up at your local Storm VIP Pro Shop today!!
This Vengeance is soooo good! I am a collegiate bowler that bowls multiple tournaments monthly. This ball looks great on fresh for both house shots as well as sport shots! It is super controllable but doesn’t give up any backend for that control. It is heavy rolling which helps out a lot when the lanes are flooded or if you need a little bit of help to get the ball turning over. Stronger than a phase 2 and a rockstar. I love both of the other benchmark options in the storm line-up but this is my favorite one! The 900 Global Vengeance is a strong, smooth-rolling solid reactive that’s built to handle medium-heavy to heavy oil with confidence. It reads the midlane early thanks to its aggressive solid cover, but the reaction stays controlled and predictable rather than jumpy, making it easy to trust when the lanes are fresh. The symmetrical core provides consistent flare and excellent continuation through the pins, so even light hits tend to carry well. What really stands out is how stable the shape is—strong enough to create hook, yet smooth enough to keep you out of trouble when conditions get tricky. Overall, the Vengeance is a reliable benchmark-plus option for league or tournament play, especially for bowlers who want a powerful ball that blends the lane and doesn’t overreact downlane.

The Vengeance was built for medium to heavy oil lane conditions in a symmetrical core design. It features a brand new core design and a new coverstock The new blast ai core is a symmetrical core design with AI technology wrapped with the new RB 91 solid cover stock which is a fast oil absorbing coverstock Rg 2.47 Differential .055 Sanded to 2000 grit Abralon Layout 4.75x4.5x2.75 VLS Layout System The vengeance will be a great ball to start on fresh oil which will give you increased midlane reaction then when you need more length and backend the Viking will compliment the vengeance perfectly. The vengeance will be stronger than the cove and ember series bowling balls. I also compared the vengeance to my other favorite symmetrical solid balls in my arsenal which are phaze 2 and the Rockstar I found the Vengeance to be the strongest of the 3 creating the most traction then the Phaze 2 was cleaner through the midlane and the rockstar was the smoothest of the 3. The 900 Global Vengeance is available now!!!!!!
i threw the vengeance 6 games and it is really strong ball witch is amazing . i am a low speed bowler with a rev rate around 250 to 300 and i might have to go up to 3000 grit on this ball as strong as it is but over all i like the shape it can give me when i throw it in the oil enuf .
You want a fresh ball out of the box for heavy oil? This ball is it. I call it Mr. V because it is very respectful indeed. Heavy oil keep it box finish, Lane shine will help it on normal house shots. I bought 2, I might try to polish one and see what that does. But the 1st time I threw this, yes had to play deeper to stay in the oil. Compared it to the 900 Origin EX, it does hook sooner, and earlier. Then I pulled out the Viking, the viking does go longer, then has more back end being a Hybrid reactive with the power edge finish. " V " is a great 1st ball out of the bag. Just watch the mid lane reaction. I know all bowling alleys are different, oils, lane surface, ect. But this ball rolls great, its not super reactive on the back ends witch is very controllable and love to drive through the pins!
As I have always been a fan of symmetrical solids, the Vengeance is no different. The cover is very strong for me and it has been a very reliable ball to use game 1. The ball comes at 2000 grit but feels like it is so much more. I would love to see what this ball could do on a challenge or sport pattern. Now with a handful of tournaments coming up this ball will fill a spot in my bag. I am curious how the ball will react at one of our local houses that I have had a lot of good results with the Volt Solid and Rockstar.
This ball is not the hook the whole lane ball but if you are bowling on high volume and need to keep the ball in front of you this is the first ball out of the bag.
900 Global Vengeance Ball specs: Blast A.I. core with RB91 solid coverstock finish with 2000 grit and layouts used are 4x4x1 and 5x5x4. My Specs: Rev rate 420’s, ball speed 15.3 to 15.8 mph off the hand, axis tilt of 16 degrees and axis rotation of 70 degrees, PAP is 3 13/16th up 1/8th. Tested on Pro-lane surface on a 43ft medium volume house pattern and 45 and 46ft sport pattern. The Vengeance is out for revenge on the lanes! I am primarily using these 2 balls on a house pattern but have also used the 5x5x4 on 45ft and 46ft sport patterns. On house patterns it has become the 2nd ball out onto the lanes after my current benchmark ball the Roto Grip Rockstar has lost some of its hitting power because of the carry down conditions that are occurring, especially when 3 out of 6 of us bowling on the pair are left handed like myself. The 4x4x1 is getting much use in the center I have been subbing at on a weekly basis because they have worn in HPL lane panels and a larger than normal cliff off the end of their house pattern. The main difference between these 2 balls is that the 4x4x1 layout is very “transparent” in the roll stage with a ton of evenness, “predictibility”. The 5x5x4 layout is stronger all the way around in backend motion, entry point, and length off of the friction. Even though the cover is stronger than the cover on prior solid releases, it works quite well with the new symmetrical Blast core. At the Storm Matchmaker events I coordinate and oversee the Vengeance has been a top 3 pick since putting them into the demo ball line up. Which shows that this ball is very adaptable to all lane surfaces, oil patterns and styles of bowlers out there. I usually do not drill 2 of the same ball at the same time, but this Vengeance was a “no brainer” for me to have 2 of them in my arsenal. With being the strongest cover ever in the 800 series line, this is why the Vengeance has a special personality on and off the lanes. And it will let you know why it is called the Vengeance when it pops the pins for you. Make sure you catch up with the Vengeance and other new releases at the Matchmakers coming to your area soon. The Vengeance is the newest big solid symmetric introduced to the 900 Global line. The Vengeance was built for medium-heavy oil patterns and within these conditions it provides you with plenty of strength without ever overhooking. The Vengeance to me feels like the strongest ball in the 900 Global line. It is earlier and more aggressive than a Viking and the Origin EX is a touch cleaner and less dynamic overall. The Origin EX is better for me from more straighter angles and then it’ll tend to 10 pin a lot if I get left of 20 with it but the Vengeance does not have that same issue. It’s smooth enough downlane that it is usable on shorter patterns but not too smooth to where you can’t move in with it and find success! It honestly makes for a really good strong benchmark piece!
As a high end ball, the Vengeance works as expected. I needed a ball that would give me a little more area over my other ball when the lanes had a little more oil.

Yes, the Vengeance hooks a ton. That is no surprise. What's not as obvious is how versatile this ball has proven to be. For a ball that hooks this dull, I can't believe how clean down the lane it is. It's the weirdest thing, even when it's grabbing the pattern and starting to change direction, it's still getting down the lane with ease. I can't remember the last time I had a ball this dull that I never had to worry about hooking in the heads. The Vengeance just "sees it" at the right time, and makes the ball so much more predictable and dependable than I imagined it would be. My Vengeance is drilled pin down, right underneath the fingers. This gives the ball a bit more length, does cut down the hook a little bit, and results in a ball I'm not afraid to use for Control on the fresh of any sport pattern more than about 38 feet. This ball is one of the strongest Symmetrical I have thrown in quite some time. I am able to throw this ball on fresh house shot with no issues, but when the lanes begin to transition and oil carries down in the middle of the lane, I am able to stay in the oil and still carry the corner pins. This is also great ball to start out with on medium and heavier sport patterns. I am able to keep my angles in front of me and this ball does not overreact off the friction. For me this is a great, stronger benchmark ball and should be in everyone’s bag.
About me pap 4 3/4 right 1 3/8 up ball speed 17 mph rev-rate 450. Layout 65 x 4 1/2 x 35 Pattern House Shot The Global 900 Vengeance is my new benchmark ball. This will be my first ball out of the bag every night. It will highlight whether I need to throw a slow/quick response bowling ball. Its reads the front part of the lane perfect and is continuous all the way through the pin deck which provides a very predictable shape. I find this ball usable on almost all lane conditions. I love this ball it Kicks out the ten pin just right!!!
What surprised me about the Vengeance is how usable it is once the front starts to go. Normally strong asym balls get too forward once transition hits, but this one still shapes. It’s clean enough that I’m not forced to ball down immediately, but strong enough to read heavier oil. That balance is hard to find. Definitely fits in the “strong but versatile” category.
Vengeance is the newest symmetrical solid option from 900 Global. If you're like me, you probably saw this ball announced and thought: how will this possibly compete with the Phaze 2? or the RockStar? Well, I reviewed it up against the RockStar and I can say that in terms of hook shape, there is a distinct difference. The Vengeance isn't a Phaze 2 replacement, it's a compliment. Phaze 2 is beloved for providing slightly more length and downlane shape than similar symmetrical solid options. Vengeance goes the other direction; earlier and smoother than the Phaze 2, this ball almost acts as a baby solid asym. Midlane traction and smooth continuation off the end of the pattern make this a great ball for fresh conditions and for blending out cliffed house shots. Use the Phaze 2 when you need a balance of predictability and backend continuation. Vengeance is for the fresh house shot and transition where wet/dry are present, blending them out in a strong and smooth package that fits perfectly with the other options from SPI, and fills a nice gap between Phaze 2 and Equinox Solid/Ion Max. -Chase Valenzuela

The ball is finished at 2000 grit abralon and at 15 pounds the Vengeance has a low RG of 2.47 and a differential of .055. I am a fan of symmetrical solid balls, and the Vengeance is no different. I drilled mine with my usual 5x5x2 which puts the pin above my bridge. This is a first ball out of the bag reaction for me. It allows me to play inside in the oil away from the masses ball tracks and high friction area of the lane. For as strong as the coverstock is, the Vengeance clears the front part of the lane quite easily and really reads the midlane well. The backend is strong and continuous. This ball is great in the oil but it allows me to send it away from the pocket and still have the backend strength to kick out those corner pins. The center I bowl in is lower volume, so it is rare that I can bowl a whole league set with this ball without having to switch to the Viking or something even weaker. I cannot wait to get to throw this ball on the heavier sport patterns at tournaments. Another winner from 900 Global.
The Vengeance is that big, strong, rolly symmetric ball that is essential on heavy oil and longer sport patterns. The obvious comparison will be to the Sublime Focus, and while they are similar, the Vengeance has more overall traction. I drilled mine pin down, because I intend to use this ball for fresh at USBC Nationals; over the years I have found that a strong, sanded pin-down symmetric works best for me in that situation. Bowlers who have a higher ball speed – to – rev rate ratio will absolutely love this ball, as they will find it very difficult to shoot this ball through the break point. In the bag, the Vengeance is now the strongest 900 Global ball in production.
DESCRIPTION: The 900 Global Vengeance is a new solid symmetric high-performance ball. Its design balances traction and control aimed primarily at medium-heavy to heavy oil conditions. Coverstock: RB91 Solid Reactive Core: Blast A.I. Symmetric Factory Finish: 2000 Abralon RG (15 lb): 2.47 Diff: 0.055–0.056 COMMENTS: With my 15 mph ball speed and 275-300 RPM the Vengeance seems to find friction earlier in the midlane. The solid RB91 cover is designed to soak up oil aggressively and read the lane early and my speed helps that read rather than overpowering it. Because my release is moderate, the ball won’t look “dead early”, instead it starts to shape sooner than many other solids on med/heavy oil patterns, which can be ideal for holding my line longer and keeping predictable ball motion. My pin down layout is VLS 4¼ × 4¼ × 4 layout puts a fair amount of core influence into play, increasing mid-lane traction and transition stability. The Vengeance will feel comfortable through the mids, not skidding forever, but smoothly building energy and not panicking when it hits friction. When it reads the midlane it will continue with authority, producing a controlled, continuous arc to the pocket rather than a late, sharp flip. This makes it reliable as lanes transition and oil patterns break down. Keep in mind I'm playing the track and this is the first ball in my bag. This ball is a WORKHORSE! Early mid-lane read, gets traction in oil quickly, great for my speed and revs with predictable shape. The combination of symmetric core and my layout helps keep transitions manageable with the strong but controlled backend motion. Compared to the 900 Global Sublime Focus or hybrid 900 Global Viking, the Vengeance gives more midlane and backend traction, meaning you can stay in it longer and still get consistent pin carry. Conclusion: If you’re regularly bowling on heavier house patterns this ball will likely become a go-to piece in your arsenal when you need control and carry. VISIT A STORM VIP PROSHOP TODAY
900 Global Vengeance Coverstock: RB91 Solid Reactive Box Finish: 2000-grit Abralon Core: Blast A.I. Core RG: 2.47, Diff: 0.055 (15 lbs) VLS Layout: 5 x 4 x 2-1/2 Dual Angle Layout: 55 x 5 x 35 PAP: 5 3/16” right x 5/8” up Rev rate: 400 rpm Average speed: 16.5 mph Location: Prairie Lanes, Sun Prairie, WI Pattern: Medium volume THS The 900 Global Vengeance is the newest ball in the 800 Series line. It features an all-new core/cover combination designed for medium-heavy to heavier oil volumes. The RB91 solid cover absorbs oil quickly and gives a fresh surface from shot-to-shot. It’s aired with the Blast A.I. core, which helps give the Vengeance a strong and predictable mid-lane read while saving energy for the backend. The intent is for a ball that fits at the top of the bag for when you need early traction but still maintains some overall shape leading into when the lanes start to breakdown and transition. I drilled my Vengeance with my typical pin-up drilling. I’ve seen early and continuous ball motion which has been very much needed in my arsenal. For me, it’s a slight step down from bigger asymmetric core balls like the Storm Ion Max or Roto Grip RST HyperDrive but is stronger than the 900G Origin EX or Cove. The Vengeance gives me a very strong and stable reaction which can be great for blending out over/under league conditions, but I think this will be even better on medium-length and heavier volume sport/challenge conditions. I could certainly see this ball making the trip to this year’s USBC Open Championships in Reno and being a ball to start with for a strong, controlled, and predictable motion. For me, the 900 Global Vengeance fits the spot in my bag where I need a strong and continuous benchmark-type ball reaction. It’s a definite first ball out of the bag when the lanes are fresh. This will be a must have for tournament bowlers (hence why it’s in the Tournament Collection), but I could also see others bringing it up to either a 4000-grit or lane-shine finish to help it retain more energy and shape for the backend. The Vengeance features a new Blast A.I. core and RB91 Solid coverstock combination and promises to be one of the most dynamic symmetrical bowling balls in 900 Global history. The Vengeance creates a surprisingly smooth, consistent and very distinguishable ball motion. I used a fairly standard pin-down layout on the Vengeance: 55 x 4 ¾ x 75. As I expected this ball to be smooth and controllable, I wanted the layout to complement those characteristics. As mentioned earlier, the Vengeance features a low RG, high differential Blast A.I. core. For me, low RG cores can often be situational, as they usually force me to move left sooner than I prefer. However, the Vengeance stays on line very easily and produces a smooth, continuous motion at the end of the pattern. In some instances, I did notice that as I increased my launch angles, the bowling ball wasn’t responsive enough to go through the pins properly. This behavior leads me to believe that this coverstock is also quite aggressive. However, the Vengeance seems to take hand position and ball speed adjustments well, which then allows the bowling ball to be in play for a longer time. I can see the Vengeance being a strong candidate to be the first ball out of the bag in several situations. With its smooth, controllable motion, I can see it working well on fresh medium to shorter oil patterns where control at the end of the pattern is very important. I also expect it to match up well on many house patterns, as it does a good job of blending wet and dry conditions. The 900 Global Vengeance takes the place of the Sublime Focus as the symmetric solid in 900 Global’s lineup. The Vengeance is built around the brand new Blast A.I. Core and wrapped in the RB 91 Solid Reactive coverstock finished at 2000 grit. I drilled mine 4 1/2 x 4 x 2 1/2 — exactly how I drilled the Storm Summit, because the core numbers are very close, and I absolutely loved the Summit with that layout. If you matched up well with the Summit, I think you'll match up well with the Vengeance. What separates the Vengeance from previous 900 Global symmetric solids like the Sublime Focus is its ability to read the lane early like you'd expect a 2000 grit solid to do, while still having enough left in the tank to move on the backend. The Vengeance is not angular by any means, but it's a smooth, strong symmetric solid that's strong enough to start league and stable enough to last. Introducing the 900 Global Vengeance built for medium–heavy to heavy oil conditions, delivering strength without overreaction. This all-new core and cover combination produces one of the most dynamic symmetrical balls in 900 Global history, creating a readable, confident shape that holds up from the first frame to the last. It picks up in the mid-lane, stays smooth as the lanes transition, and still finishes with purpose downlane I am speed dominant, average rev rate 250-275ish, low-medium tilt and medium rotation. I drilled mine 30x4x30. My axis point is 4 3/8 over 1 3/8 up. This ball is good for me on medium oil conditions. In league I start with my Vengeance then migrate right into the Roto Grip Transformer. These two are great one two punch for game 1 and 2. Go get yours at your local Storm VIP shop today! #sm2proshop #StrikingWorldWide #Deviousbowling

It’s a little earlier than the Phaze 2, but it’s much slower off the spot. Vengeance is VERY smooth. If you’re comparing to a Phaze 2, it will not change direction as much downlane. This can be a good if you’re trying to find a piece to control a very flat pattern. The Vengeance is probably less of a house shot killer and more of a sport shot killer. If that’s what you’re looking for then Vengeance is it!
