Cory G. Swag Staff member SWAG Insanity Pearl Review The new SWAG Insanity Pearl is a great addition to the SWAG lineup. This ball gives you the clean look through the front you expect from a pearl, but with more overall strength and continuation than the Craze Tour Pearl. Compared side by side, the Insanity Pearl is noticeably stronger. It picks up sooner, reads the midlane better, and creates more continuation through the pins while still maintaining the angular motion that makes pearl equipment so useful during transition. With my higher ball speed and rev rate, I decided to add polish to my Insanity Pearl to create a cleaner look and help it fit my game better. The added polish lets me retain the strong downlane motion while giving me a little more length and shape when I need it. The combination of the Insanity Symmetric Core and Lunacy Pearl AP26 cover gives this ball a great balance of control and recovery. It is a pearl that can handle more than you would expect while still allowing you to open up the lane and create entry angle. For bowlers who have higher speed, higher revs, or need a stronger pearl option during transition, the SWAG Insanity Pearl is definitely a ball worth putting in the bag.

Insanity Pearl This New Coverstock... Wow Outstanding New Lunacy Pearl AP26 coverstock.

The SWAG Insanity Pearl is exactly what I was hoping it would be. When the lanes start to transition and stronger balls begin reading too early, this is the ball I can trust to get through the front part of the lane clean while still making a strong, continuous move through the pins. The Lunacy Pearl AP26 cover does an excellent job storing energy, and the Insanity symmetric core keeps the motion predictable instead of being overly jumpy. (BowlersMart) What impressed me the most was the carry. Even on shots that weren’t perfect, the Insanity Pearl continued through the deck and mixed the pins extremely well. It creates plenty of angle without feeling uncontrollable, making it a great option once the pattern starts to break down or on dry-to-medium conditions. (BowlersMart) For me, this is the perfect companion to the Insanity Hybrid. I can start with the Hybrid when there’s more oil and confidently ball down to the Pearl as the fronts go away. Having both on the same core makes the transition seamless, and I never feel like I have to completely change my game. If you’re looking for a clean, angular pearl that still gives you confidence and outstanding continuation through the pins, the SWAG Insanity Pearl deserves a spot in your bag. It’s one of those bowling balls that makes transition easier to manage and gives you the confidence to stay aggressive when everyone else is struggling.

In my fifth year of throwing the Swag brand this Insanity Peal may be one of the best balls the brand has produced. With the Lunacy Pearl AP26 additive cover and the Insanity Symmetric core as the engine the combination of the two provides an appropriate name for the ball - INSANITY. My benchmark ball prior to this release was the Craze Tour Solid. With the release of the Insanity Pearl I get the same control with much more power and continuation through the pin deck. This ball clears the front with ease, starts revving up at the marker board and looks like it picks up speed as it enters the pocket. The Insanity can be played inside or out keeping energy stored though I prefer laying it out over 10 with a break point at 4 then watching it accelerate. I would call the motion in between round and snappy with my 4x1x1 layout, and from my perspective the 2000 grit out of box sanded gives me more line options through transition. I have used this ball all three games my last 3 league nights and it does not disappoint! I am a lefty in my senior years who typically likes to go straight up the boards on patterns that permit that angle. The deflection rate on the Insanity for my rev rate (280-300) and normal speed at 15.2 at 13 pounds is pretty close to zero. In addition I am leaving more stone 9 pins with this ball than in a long time dues to its lack of deflection and superior continuation with my preferred layout. In summary this ball is a huge step up for SWAG Bowling in my opinion. The core, cover and finish are dialed to compliment each other and it also has great shelf appeal. My partner Tony and I have sold a lot of SWAG balls over the last few years - and after getting interrupted in league the other night about this new Insanity Pearl at least 5 times I think the new releases will certainly keep that trend going!

The insanity pearl is listed as a medium to dry transition. It has a brand new code called the insanity symmetric core. It also has a brand new coverstock called the lunacy pearl AP26. It also has a 2000 abralon box finish. The RG 2.52 a DIFF .034 with a medium flare potential 3-4 inches.i think this ball is very underrated . On a house shot that was fresh this ball was very strong and was continuous and had a great snap on the backend and drove all the way through the pins. When the lanes dried up I moved left and pulled my mark on the lanes left and the ball still had more than enough energy to blast the pins.i was very surprised by this ball. I would recommend this ball to anyone to out in your bag. This ball has the correct name insanity pearl because it is insane and is underrated in its classification.

The SWAG Insanity Pearl definitely lives up to its name. If I had to describe this ball in just a few words, I would say: it hooks—and it hooks A LOT! After throwing the Insanity Pearl, one of the first things that stood out to me was just how much overall motion this ball creates. For a pearl, this thing is incredibly strong. It gives me the ability to get the ball through the front part of the lane while still producing a big, aggressive move down lane. When it sees friction, it responds hard and keeps driving through the pins. For me, the Insanity Pearl really starts to shine after the oil begins to transition. As the lanes start breaking down and I need to move farther left and create more angle, this ball gives me exactly what I am looking for. I can open up my angles, get the ball farther right, and trust that the Insanity Pearl is going to recover. And when I say recover, I mean RECOVER! This ball gives me confidence when I need to move inside because I don't feel like I have to force it to get back to the pocket. I can trust the ball to do the work. It clears the fronts, responds aggressively to friction, and still has enough energy left to continue through the pins instead of making a big move and stopping. That continuation is probably one of my favorite things about the Insanity Pearl. There are plenty of bowling balls that can create a lot of hook, but hook doesn't mean much if the ball burns up its energy before it gets to the pins. The Insanity Pearl gives me the combination of hook, recovery, and continuation that I want once the lanes start opening up. I especially like it when my earlier ball starts reading the lane too soon or when I have moved far enough inside that I need something capable of creating a lot more shape down lane. That's where the Insanity Pearl earns its spot in my bag. This isn't a ball I would describe as smooth or mild. It's INSANITY. It's designed to create motion, and that's exactly what I see from it. If you like seeing a bowling ball make a strong move when it encounters friction, this one is going to get your attention. Overall, I have been extremely impressed with the SWAG Insanity Pearl. For my game, it has quickly become a great option once the lanes transition and I need to move left, create angle, and still have confidence that my bowling ball is going to make it back. It hooks. LEFT HANDED BOWLER: This is a Symmetric Pearl with the Lunacy Pearl AP26 Coverstock,2.52 RG with a .34 Diff. This ball excels for me when the oil starts to transition. This ball gives me the ability as a left handed Bowler to move right and open up my angles without the fear of the ball not recovering from playing big angles. This ball definitely loves friction. This ball definitely snaps and hooks alot for me so be mindful when you pick your layout. This ball digs Very Hard when you shoot across lane but controllable once you get a good read on the lane conditions. As a Pearl, it definitely will stay clean in the fronts and give you that Snappy back end. When my SWAG Tour Solid gets to be too much and the lanes have started to dry up this is definitely the ball that I depend on. This ball is very underrated and I think most will find a spot for it in their bag. Do not Miss the chance to throw great products that easily compare to other Ball Companies. I am a left handed 3 Finger Bowler with a 420 Rev Rate. PAP is 6 over and 1 Down. I drilled this Ball with a 55x4x45 Layout and changed the surface to 3000 for the intent I have.
