Craze Pearl
Drilled - 60 x 4.5 x 20
PAP is 4.5 over and 1 up
Surface - 2k polish (Due to My Specs and Match Up)
I had to remind myself that this is considered "low-end" and given the balls performance, there isn't really anything other than price that is low. This ball delivers and surprises. It is clean through the front and responsive the minute it sees friction. The Craze Peral is about 2-3 boards less overall from the Craze Solid. The ball that this most reminds me of is the IQ Tour Ruby. For the price you are definitely getting a lot of ball for the price.

The SWAG Bowling Craze Pearl is in the Primary Performance Line with a Rage pearl cover and symmetric core. It has a 2.52 RG / .030 Diff and is 3000 grit polished out of box. I drilled this ball 65/5.5/5 with a PAP of 5 over 7/8 up putting the pin above my fingers. This ball is a great drier lane ball in my opinion. It played up the right side of the lane well and drove through the pins. It turned more than I expected off the friction. The colors are awesome going down the lane. The colors are vibrant and this is a low end ball worth the money!

Don’t let the “lower end” title for this ball fool you. This ball gets down the lane easy with the polished finish and really hooks off the friction hard! Before when we had the Sparklings, Jerks, and Shields, they went long down the lane as well but were much smoother off the friction and misses in the oil would push too far. The Craze Pearl has a lot more teeth and still picked up good on little misses in which was very surprising! Rev dominant bowlers or league bowlers who like going straighter will love this ball! When I get on a lot of friction, you’ll see me throwing the Craze Pearl!

Excellent length with good turn off the carry down. Good for drier or burnt conditions, but works ok on a fresher shot. I liken it to the Motiv Thrill Pearl. Very similar

PAP - 4 3/4” right, 1/2” up
DAS - 50 x 5 x 30
I threw on a typical house shot, medium oil, about 42”. I’m more speed dominant, throwing about 15.5mph, with a medium rev rate. I typically play down-and-in, targeting between 5 and 15, depending on lane condition.
Compared to the Black Dragon, this is more of a transition ball for me. The ball got down the lane, further than the Black Dragon, and had a strong finish down lane. The ball drove through the pins, splitting the 8-9 with regularity.
To use this ball at the beginning of a set, you should have a medium to high rev rate, and even playing deeper, it should provide a smooth, predictable arc into the pocket.

Do you like that more angular shape at the breakpoint? If so this is the ball for you! As an entry level performance ball, this ball hooks much more than I expected and shapes very quickly off the breakpoint.
On a fresh house shot I was able to stay near the track (just left of it actually) and throw a full game. Once the lane started to open up, I was definitely able to move left and I had zero concern that this ball would come screaming back to the pocket. Not only that, it looks amazing going down the lane and makes reading my ball motion a real breeze!
What more could you ask for?
The Pearl & Solid are good go to balls for when the lanes break down or in times of short oil I start out using my Unreal in medium oil conditions and when the lanes start to break down after a game or so and I can pull out my Craze Pearl and play the same line and put the ball right back in the pocket or on dry lane conditions I start out with the Pearl and when the oil starts to carry down I can switch to the Craze Solid for a little more break to stay in the pocket they both are very controllable at the break point and smooth through the front part of the lanes.

WOW! THE CRAZE PEARL! THE CRAZE PEARL IS SURPRISINGLY ANGULAR FOR A ENTRY LEVEL, LOW DIFF, SYMMETERICAL PEARL BOWLING BALL. THIS BALL COMES POLISHED WHICH I HAVE NOT TOUCH THE COVER YET TO SEE IF IT WOULD TAME DOWN THE BACKEND FOR ME. I HAD MINE DRILLED 45X4.5X30 WHICH I USE FOR ALL MY PEARL BOWLING BALLS. I OWN OVER 15 BOWLING BALLS BY SWAG AND THIS BALL FROM THE RELAUNCH IS DEFINITELY DIFFERENT FROM THE PERIOUSLY BALLS RELEASED. I BELIEVE SWAG IS ONTO SOMETHING WITH THIS NEW RAGE COVER STOCK! I JUST ORDERED THE CRAZE SOLID AND I'M EXCITED TO GET IT DRILLED AND SEE WHAT REACTION AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOLID COVER STOCK. FOR ME.... THE CRAZE PEARL IS GREAT LATE IN THE BLOCK WHEN THE LANES TRANSITION AND YOUR LOOKING FOR YOUR BALL TO GET THROUGH THE FRONTS AND STILL HAVE THAT POP ON THE BACKEND. I HAVE A BALL REVIEW ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL WWW.BOWLINGWITHDIALLO.COM PLEASE CHECK IT OUT!

Not only does it look good, It performs big time! I drilled it 10x4.5x25. Wanted to get this down the lane to combat burn/dry conditions, and that it does! Great ball with a surprisingly big backend and drive!

My Craze, Swag ball arrived so quickly, I'm so happy with this ball. I love it!

This ball is amazing to use in game three when the oil pattern breaks down. I am left-handed so I do use this ball along with the solid when there is another lefty on the lanes with me. This ball controls the mid lanes and has a nice back end. I love this ball a lot. It is always in my bags. PUT SOME SWAG IN YOUR BAGS!!!
The Swag Craze pearl is one for the ages. Out of the box the Craze pearl was stronger than I expected(7-10 boards). The Craze has phenomenal backend motion while maintaining smooth font and midlande reaction as well. It also maintains enough energy to continue through the pins. The Craze pearl for me is first or second ball out of my bag on league night haven't bowled enough on sport to confidently give a review on that type of oil. Everyone needs a Craze Pearl by swag in their bag.
This ball is stronger than advertised and really ended up being a pleasant surprise.
Very hustle pearlish with easy length and a smoother downlane motion. Drilled 60x5x30. Great energy through the pins.

Let me first say this ball is great!!! Now, factor in the price point, and it is something more than that. This ball out performs anything I have thrown before at this level. This ball is in SWAG's "Primary Performance" line, but it is pure benchmark. With so much versatility it can just as easily be the ball you start with as it can be the ball you transition to when the lanes break down. I have mine drilled at 60 x 5 1/4 x 50 and when I need something to get through the heads, it is there. When I need something to make the turn late, it is there. I will say that your drilling matters, so make sure you let your PSO know what you want it to do, and this ball will do it. If you have been on the fence about trying out this NEW SWAG equipment, this is a great one to check out. If you do, this probably won't be the only piece of Swag in your bag. Give it a shot, you can thank me later.

Good ball for the money. I use it on the burn. It’s doesn’t overreact is predictable and controllable

This ball i put a weaker lay out to make it more arc style. With The original surface it was just alittle weak for me. I scuff the polish up alittle and the ball woke right up. This ball is a step down from my big asym hybrid. Mid second game and third game this ball comes alive. If your bowling on lighter shorter patterns or having trouble with transition put this ball in your bag.

PAP 5 3/4 right 1/2 down. Revrate 415. 2 finger one hand. Layout 50x5x25. OOB finish. I purposely chose this layout for later in the block, shorter patterns, and lower volumes. This ball definitely doesn't disappoint. Don't let the specs fool you from just how strong it is. I've found this layout pushing me further left than anticipated on more than one occasion. Plays very well on higher friction lanes with volume up front, on into the transition, and past. Its super reliable for those types if conditions or when you need just that little extra length. Rolls up nice in the midlane and makes a strong defining move off the spot. I honestly believe with a different layout or surface adjustment you can make this ball do just about anything with little to no worries.

SWAG Craze Pearl gets through the front part of the lane, even a high friction surface and shred's racks with the stored energy. 800 in league and 300 at Colorado State tournament.
Maybe the best ball on the market at this price point!!
Swag Craze is a great ball and it was so easy to order and have it shipped to me

Drilled (55x5x25) This ball has been my go to in my Sport Shot League! This ball is so accurate when used on short patterns, I can't miss. As a speed dominate bowler, it reads the lane early, holds the mid and is devastating on the back end and me being left handed I dont have to move...EVER! The Craze Pearl is scary good!! Performs way above its price point and is one of the best pearls produced by SWAG

This is one versatile ball. Very good on medium patterns with good continuation through the back end very pleased with the performance!
This was my second swag ball I got and it’s a good mid range ball but very dependable
Steve R (Bowlers Helping Bowlers) Jan 10, 2026
This ball is my get out of jail ball if nothing else works the craze pearl will. I can throw it on dang near anything and its more versatile than you would expect for a "low end" ball!
This ball’s reaction is nothing short of amazing. The SWAG rebranding has not disappointed. I shot my first 300 game with this ball! With my rev rate, this ball allows me to stay right of 30 longer the cover, while marketed as a weaker pearl option, definitely has enough bite to pick up in the midlane without skidding past the breakpoint. I have tried this ball from all three zones. I have successfully been able to play around first arrow on fresh as well. If you need a benchmark Pearl and you’re an above average rev bowler, this ball is MONEY. Overall I’d give this ball a 10/10 for my play style, the colors pop going down the lane, and it seems like the ball gets better the more you use it. SMOOTH
Hello everyone this ball does not disappoint. When your finding transition hard to adjust to take this ball tighten up your angle and watch it work its magic. This ball is great for low to medium oil shaping late on the lane with a decent backend for a great price. This ball is great for your harder short shot and will create a good read as to where the friction is downlane and make adjustments accordingly. For you two handers out there I highly recommend this ball due to its low diff it’s not going to take off on you nice smooth read.
2 handed lefty
16 -17mph
Speed and rev matched
Very good house shot ball. You can rely on this ball to get through the fronts and pick up when you need it to and walk to the pocket. If you are consistent with your release then this ball will be your best friend and hit like a truck.

Being a left-handed, down-and-in bowler, the Craze Pearl shines on both THS and sport patterns, especially with my 55 × 5 × 25 layout. This layout gives the ball the length it needs to clear the fronts cleanly while keeping the reaction smooth and predictable—exactly what flatter patterns demand. The 5-inch pin helps prevent early roll, which is critical on sport shots, and the 25° VAL provides a controlled but confident move downlane without overreacting to friction. The Craze Pearl reads the lane honestly, blends the pattern extremely well, and stores enough energy to finish strong through the pins. It lets me stay lined up longer and trust my shot, making it an excellent choice when control and consistency matter most.
The Swag Craze Pearl is a specialized weapon designed for one specific mission: conquering the lanes when they transition and demand more angle. Featuring a high-gloss pearl cover stock, this ball stores an incredible amount of energy through the heads, resulting in a very sharp motion off the spot. This "flip" allows you to maintain maximum hitting power even as you are forced to move your feet left and change your angles to find oil later in the day.
On longer sport conditions, the Craze Pearl becomes invaluable once the pattern breaks down. When the front part of the lane becomes toasted and your solid pieces start hooking too early, this ball clears the fronts with ease and provides the recovery needed to open up the lane. Despite its explosive backend, it remains remarkably readable for a pearl. Furthermore, the price point makes it a phenomenal value, offering high-end, asymmetric-like "snap" without the premium cost. It is the perfect finishing piece for any competitive arsenal.
Man, The Craze Pearl is my secret weapon for those late blocks when the lanes go full taco mode and everything starts hooking early. Straight out of the box it gets through the heads with that pearl coverstock. then snaps hard for high-rev bowlers like me—money every time on burnt-up house shots or transitioning sport patterns.
Straight out of the bag, the factory finish was perfect it for my rev-dominant style; it saves energy while reading carrydown without overreacting, drilled 45 x5x35 to match the crew. No early burnout like solids—clean heads, massive backend arc that buries the corner pin, turning weak 10s into strikes when the my opponents struggle..
It’s killer for seniors who rev heavy too; that length and flip keep you in the pocket without speed tweaks, blending smooth from oily mids to dry backs. Pulled it out in the fifth game of the tournament when the lanes get cooked, and cash that check. Craze Pearl owns the late set—total bag essential for rev players chasing that cash.
I recently drilled up the SWAG Craze Pearl, and this ball has quickly become one of the most exciting pieces in my bag. From the first few shots, I noticed how easily it clears the front of the lane while still storing plenty of energy for a powerful move on the backend.
The Craze symmetric core combined with the Rage Pearl coverstock gives this ball incredible length through the heads. It glides smoothly through the front part of the lane without burning up, which is exactly what you want when the lanes start to break down. Once it finds friction, the Craze Pearl makes a clean and confident move toward the pocket with strong continuation through the pins.
What really stands out to me is how well this ball balances length, control, and hitting power. The backend motion is strong but very readable, allowing me to trust the reaction and repeat shots with confidence. It gives me the ability to move inside as the lanes transition while still maintaining great carry.
For me, the SWAG Craze Pearl shines on medium oil and later games in league when stronger balls start hooking too early. It allows me to open my angles and still get the ball to drive hard through the pocket.
Overall, the SWAG Craze Pearl is a clean, versatile, and hard-hitting ball. It stores energy extremely well, provides a smooth yet powerful backend motion, and delivers excellent pin carry. If you’re looking for a ball that helps you stay aggressive as the lanes transition, the Craze Pearl is a fantastic addition to the bag.
