What the Specs Tell Us

The Hammer Juiced Hybrid Reactive coverstock blends midlane read with backend continuation — a balanced approach that works across a range of patterns. With an RG of 2.53 and a .038 differential, this core stores energy longer, pushing further down the lane with moderate flare for a balanced blend of power and predictability. Engineered for medium-light conditions where control and length through the heads are essential.

Bowlers Say

Bowlers praise the Raw Hammer as an excellent entry-level ball with good hook potential that isn't too aggressive for learning fundamentals. Tournament bowlers note it hooks about 4 boards more than comparable pearls but may lack pin carry. Works well on typical house conditions.

I’m a tournament bowler, and I love Hammer! I thought this ball would be great for wet/dry house conditions and for Sahara transition in the heads. I drilled it with a 5” pin, and a 40’ angle to the VAL. Slightly shiny this ball HOOKS 4 boards more than my white Hammer Pearl; BUT it doesn’t hit as hard!!!! Something ain’t right here, Hammerhead Heads!! Sincerely, EMS

I got this ball as my first ball through a in-store BowlersMart after bowling for 2 months on house balls. It's a great first ball, it hooks plenty but isn't too strong that it makes it hard to learn the fundamentals with. I'm very happy with my purchase. The only thing that really disappointed with this ball was the color. The picture on the site showed mainly all blue and orange which I thought was awesome. However, my ball came with A LOT of black in it, some sections all black so I was a bit let down in the color scheme in person but not something that should stop someone from getting this ball. It performs great, I have played >50 games with it, just on a THS.

I love the RAW Hammer. Lots of action, but not too much. Highly recommend for people who want to get serious about bowling.

Good ball especially for entry level like myself but had it drilled for more flare and looks good so far

So far I like this ball a lot. It was recommended by my local pro shop but purchased through BowlersMart to get the $50 back from Rakuten. Competitive price and great value for what is so far a great entry level ball.
