I am actually excited. Today I will be throwing the Judge from Swag. The new Judge. Okay, let's go throw the Unreal, the Goat, the Clutch, the Holy Grail, everything Swag that I've done so far. This one's the best one. So, we'll throw this for comparison. Just my typical shot on this um house shot and we can use it to compare. Just for awareness, this one's actually kind of scuffed off the polish. So it's like a lane shine as
of this point. So just for comparison, stand at 40 and aim for about 20 board. I totally missed [Music] that. Okay. Need to move right. Stand at 35. Aim for about 17 15
board. Okay, let's throw it better and we'll move on to the judge after finally. Select the 10 pin. Okay, switching over to the judge. This judge is drilled at a 40x4 by 20. So my bigger asim ball before was the swagger bomb. Now I got the judge. So we'll see how it plays. I'll probably stand in the same spot
that I stood at with the unreal and then hit the same target. See how it reacts from there. Same target and head pin. Okay, time to move. Let's go. Okay, I moved five boards left and I also moved the target left, too. Let's see if we can just throw it a little bit better. Maybe swing it out a little bit
more. Okay, a little bit more left or a better shot. That was okay. I need to get it out right more so has a little bit more drive for the carry. Okay, let's do a full game with the judge like that. No. Okay. It doesn't really like the
friction that does it like that. Yes. Little bit slower. Okay, that was that was kind of far. Perfect. Oh, like
that. Not bad. It likes that spot. Yep. It likes that. It's just flooded, but it likes to dry like that. But if I get in the oil swinging from inside, I don't think it's going to really carry that well. So maybe one of the traditional swag balls straighter up. Keep the ball in front of you for a better
carry. Now they put on the music. Okay. Okay. Now let's move it in a little bit. Play the oil for the last two [Music] frames. A little bit further in. No recovery. Maybe I threw it too fast. Um yeah, definitely. I feel like with my kind of style, it doesn't really like the oil. I am speed dominant. So maybe I
just need to stop being and put a little more hand spirit. Nope. Two. Okay. I th it slower in the oil. 10 [Music] pin. Okay. Not bad. Do it one more time in the oil. See how it likes it. [Music]
Horrible shots today, but it's okay. 220. Missed the wash out, but it's okay. You got that five bagger with the first game with it. Not too shabby. You guys like my jersey? Head over to imbulling.com. Use my coupon code and you will get 20% off your next jersey purchase. [Music] That was a pretty okay shot. Those hands. Those [Music]
hands. Nope. Damn. Should I switch the two hands? Nah. No. I got little ding in my ball already. Oh no. Maybe that'll make it strike more. Okay, enough two hands. One more shot for the camera. One more shot to say bye to [Music] YouTube. All right, that's it. Let's end
this um video with two hand. Wow, pretty nice. If you guys like what you saw today with the swag judge, um, head over to swag bowling.com, order yours. You can also head over to bowlersmart. Um, and then they'll hook you up, hook yourself up with the swag. This ball will definitely be better, at least for my style, which is speed dominant. Um, a little bit straighter. So, if you like to play straighter, straighter is greater. Order yours now

Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
The Judge is the solid side of SWAG’s top-tier asymmetric pairing. The Judge Asymmetric core at .052 differential and .019 intermediate differential produces significant track flare and a strong, defined midlane motion. At 2500 grit, the Witness Solid Reactive coverstock creates a surface that reads the oil earlier than the polished pearl version but still provides enough length to avoid grabbing in the heads on well-oiled house shots.
The ball motion is best described as a strong continuous arc with a defined hook-set at the breakpoint. Unlike the Judge Pearl, which skids long and snaps hard, the Judge Solid begins its midlane transition earlier and produces a more controlled, rolling finish into the pins. That earlier read and rounder shape translates directly into pin carry — the 9.8 pin action rating reflects a ball that hits the pocket heavy and drives through the pin deck without deflecting. On fresh medium-heavy oil, the Judge consistently sends pins flying.
The 2.49 RG keeps the ball revving up early, and the .019 mass bias gives the core a noticeable asymmetric kick as it transitions from hook to roll. That combination means the ball does a lot of work on its own — bowlers do not need to force revs or manipulate the release to generate hook. The ball finds the midlane, makes its move, and finishes strong. Surface adjustments are effective with this ball: taking it to 1500 grit makes it more aggressive for heavier oil, while going to 3000 or 4000 grit will smooth out the motion and extend the length slightly for lighter medium-heavy conditions.
Who Is This Ball For?
The Judge fits best in the hands of a league or tournament bowler who needs a primary ball for medium-heavy oil. If your house shot runs on the heavier side and you need a ball that can get through the oil in the heads while still making a strong move to the pocket, the Judge handles that assignment with confidence. It is the kind of ball you can start a set with on fresh lanes and ride for two or three games before needing to adjust.
Power players will appreciate the heavy roll and carry that the Judge produces, but medium rev-rate bowlers can also get this ball to perform — the asymmetric core and aggressive coverstock do much of the work. Lower rev-rate and speed-dominant bowlers should be aware that the 9.3 hook potential is substantial; if you struggle with balls that hook too much, the Judge may be more ball than you need. In that case, look at the Unreal Solid or Apex Solid as smoother alternatives. For bowlers who can handle the power, the Judge delivers elite pin carry at a price that undercuts comparable asymmetric solids from the major manufacturers.
The Pros
- • Outstanding pin action at 9.8 — the Judge core at .052 differential drives through the deck with devastating carry
- • Asymmetric core with .019 mass bias creates a strong, defined hook-set motion in the midlane
- • Solid coverstock at 2500 grit provides an excellent balance of midlane read and controlled length
- • Low 2.49 RG generates a heavy, powerful roll that resists deflection at the pins
The Cons
- • High hook potential at 9.3 means this ball can over-hook on medium or lighter conditions
- • At $184.95, it is a significant investment for bowlers new to the SWAG brand
- • The strong midlane read limits playability on shorter or drier patterns

Bowlers Say
Bowlers say the Judge Solid is a powerful high-performance ball that excels on heavy oil and sport patterns. The asymmetric core and solid coverstock create predictable midlane read with strong backend continuation. It's praised as the first ball out of the bag for tournaments but may be too strong for typical house shots.

Bowlers frequently mention:
"All Rise" This ball commands respect. SWAG Judge Drilled 55 x 5 x 30 PAP - 4.5 over and 1 up Judges command respect and this ball lives up to what you expect from in a HP Ball. The color and name look fabulous together. This ball can go as deep as you want to go and excels when you encounter heavier patterns out on the lanes. The cover stock will tune up if you need to polish if you find your Judge too strong. However, like the golf bag, you just need to have a big dog and let it eat at the right time. This BIG DOG aka Judge loves to eat... patterns!
The SWAG Bowling Judge is in the Advanced Tech Performance Line with a Witness Solid cover and asymmetric core that digs through the oil and adds strong reaction down lane. It has a 2.53 RG / .049 Diff and is 2500 grit sanded out of box. I drilled this ball 65/5.5/5 putting the pin above my fingers with a PAP of 5 over 7/8 up. This ball was able to play deeper on the lanes going over 25-35 and recovering nicely with continuation through the pins. It was also able to play up 15 swinging to 10 and hold the line to strike. The colors are bright and look awesome going down the lane.
The Swag Judge is definitely the ball to have in your hands when you are faced with a heavy oil condition. This ball gave me excellent length through the front with a strong mid-lane read and a very predictable and strong reaction once it saw friction at the end of the pattern. My misses to the right read the mid-lane so well that the ball still made it to the pocket and carried very well. The predictable motion it creates makes it easy to know exactly what the ball is going to do. On a medium volume house shot, I was immediately able to play left of third arrow with ease. Once that area broke down, I simply had to make minor moves to the inside part of the lane. On a heavier volume house shot, I was able to square my angles and play closer to the track and watch this ball just obliterate the pins.
The first thing I noticed about this ball was how strong it was through the pins while still being predictable. I am a mid rev rate/medium speed matched guy and was able to throw it effectively straight up the 5 board, but also able to swing it from the 10 or 15 board. This ball comes out of box with a 2500 grit sanded solid cover and although I've only thrown it about 5 games, it doesn't seem to lane shine quickly. The Swag Judge Asymmetric core and the Witness Solid Reactive cover compliment this ball well. Coming in at an RG of 2.49 with a Differential of .052 and an Int. Diff. of .019 tells you it's strong. Keep it clean, and watch it crush the pins as those around you wonder what that beast is! If you're looking for a versatile ball with predictable motion that hits hard this could be your secret weapon. Check it out and give it a chance, you won't be disappointed!
The hate on Swag balls in the past have been that they are “smooth and lazy,” but The Judge is the opposite of that. The Judge reads early, but still has teeth to finish in the backend with continuation through the pin deck. First couple shots out of the box really surprised me. This new Swag equipment is a complete 180 from the previous lines and not something to sleep on. The Swag Judge may be a little strong for most house shots, but will be great for those heavier sport patterns. This ball compliments the Unreal very well and helps fill a hole that Swag has been missing in the past. The time is now to “Put some Swag in your bag!”
