Therefore I had an issue with my purchase, I ordered the two bowling balls in the 16 pounds but instead I got them in the 15 pounds. I would’ve be more happy if I had got what I ordered.

I have loved my two other Black Widows, 2.0 Hybrid and Ghost. This ball gives me the same motion when there is more oil or a longer pattern. I used the Black Widow 3.0 on the Deadman’s curve pattern, 44 feet. I was able to open up the lane and get the ball to arc at 7 or 8, and still hot the pocket. As a high tilt player, that is a big deal. I now have a ball that lets me have the same motion as other players. This is my first HK22 solid, and I love it!

Black widow 3.0 the strongest black widow ever made. This ball really hooks a lot for a black widow. Compared to the black widow 2.0, this BW will be a little bit earlier little and a little bit stronger on the backend. compared to the 2.0 hybrid this ball will be earlier than the 2.0 hybrid but it won’t be a strong down lane at the 2.0 hybrid. Being a solid I see this being in my bag as possibly a first ball out and you can use his ball on both house, shots and sports shots.

A very versatile solid that doesnt lose power. I couldn't put it down.

Had this ball drilled and bowled 3 games all 40-60 over my average... I went with a 3" pin set instead of my normal 4.25..

This Widow 3.0 is one of the best yet. This ball is a bit earlier but stronger on the backend than the Widow 2.O solid. With the solid cover this ball can be first out the bag on fresh and will allow you to play straighter to begin and migrate left with the continuous backend motion. This ball can HOOOK so make sure you eat your wheaties and be ready to Strike alot. The ball shines up well and does not effect the result. Lots of Strikes... so make sure you get the latest in the Black Widow Series... It will not disappoint.

This ball will come back from anywhere. Just don't miss left miss right it will still come back the ball is dynamite.

WOW, the Hammer 3.0 is a very strong and powerful ball that will amaze even the doubters. I drilled this with a very strong layout as I don't have a lot of revs, (about 250 ). On our house shot it let me play left of everyone, use the edge of the oil to stay consistent all night. This solid with the HK22 is a dynamic reaction ball that will work on a variety of oil patterns and give you a variety of angles to use.

This is the first ball I’ve bought in over 20 years and it is excellent (haven’t bowled league in almost 15.) Once I remembered how to bowl, the ball took care the rest. Out of 5 games I had a 187, 212 and a 233. We’re not going to talk about the other two games lol.

Since 2006 when the very first Black Widow was released, there has yet to be a Widow I didn't like. Widows have always matched up well for my particular game...thus I was very happy to see a new Widow being released. The Widow 3.0 features the tried and true Gas Mask Core wrapped by an Aggression Solid cover with the HK-22 base. The Widow 3.0 comes in Hammer colors- black and orange! Factory surface is 2000 Siaair. The layout on this Widow 3.0 is 40 x 4 3/4 x 20. I have tried the Widow 3.0 on fresh THS and on what I suspect was leftover THS with lots of house ball plastic going down the lane thus making the pattern play a lot longer due to carrydown. The new Widow 3.0 is designed to provide more traction on oil compared to last season's Widow 2.0 which was a bit longer with the hybrid cover. I made specific mention of the lane condition because the other ball I had with me as a comparison would NOT shape in the back part of the lane...the carrydown was that bad. The only way I could get the other ball to shape was to expose it to the friction way to the right and have it stand up and then lay off. When I put the Widow 3.0 on the part of the lane where the other ball would not shape, the Widow 3.0 had no issues getting through the sludge. It appears Hammer will have another winner here for medium to heavy volume patterns. I have drilled another one with a weaker pin down layout to give me a different shape. Like with all previous Widows, I fully expect to see many styles of players having success and it should be very versatile in terms of using different layouts to achieve different shapes. Hammer didn't disappoint with the latest addition to the Widow line. The Black Widow 3.0 has the trusty Gas Mask core, but they really beefed up the cover by adding HK22 to the base cover-stock. This ball is big & strong yet not uncontrollable. For me when I compared it to my BW 2.0 it hooked about 4 & 2 more and had a little more angle thru the pins. The 3.0 doesn't eliminate the 2.0, it compliments it very well. This ball will be good on both House shots & Sport patterns. I will have a Widow triple tote at every tournament. BW 3.0, BW 2.0, & BW 2.0 Hybrid.

Really strong, love rolling it. If you like playing left, this ya kind of ball. Takes a lil getting use too but it’s a really great ball.

I drilled mine 30 X 4 X 55. The Hammer Black Widow 3.0 perfectly complements my Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid. The HK-22 cover stock with Aggression Solid additives has created the ideal option for heavy oil lane conditions. This ball does not quit down the lane and will be an excellent benchmark piece for me. The Black Widow line is incredible; you will not want to miss out on this 3.0.

Ok hammer fans, this might be the best Black Widow to date. The new 3.0 easily gets through the front part of the lane, with good midlane, and that Black Widow continuation on the back end. The HK 22 additive is a game changer on the new 3.0. I went with a 50 x 4.75 x 25 layout with my PAP being 4 7/8 over and 1 1/4 up. This layout gives me a lot versatility on several lane conditions. The new cover is what separates this widow from the ones in the past. The new 3.0 will be a great compliment to the Hybrid 2.0., when you need more control from a solid on medium to heavier lane conditions. This is my favorite Black Widow. Another great addition to the Hammer Line up.

This ball is amazing, right out of the box after getting it drilled in the pro shop I got lanes right across the concourse and shot 629. I’m averaging 201 in league with it, super smooth and consistent. LOVES OIL, make sure to keep wiping the oil off though before each shot.

Boy did Hammer get this one right with another addition to an incredible line with the Black Widows. The Black Widow 3.0 has the backend reaction that you may not have in the 2.0. Is it the Gas Mask Core? Is it the HK22? You should get yours and see for yourself! I drilled mine slightly earlier and stronger than I typically drill my equipment, (50 x 5 x 20), and my favorite pin down layout, and both bowling balls do not disappoint! The midlane read and backend reaction for both bowling balls are strong and continuous through the pins. Don't wait on this ball! As we head into tournament season, this ball is a must have in your bag!

This ball has an early read and a very strong backend. If you are bowling on a heavier oil pattern, leave the coverstock as is. If you are bowling mainly house patterns and find that it is too much, you can polish this ball and turn it into the envy of your league. This version of the Black Widow is simply amazing. This is a benchmark to stronger benchmark type ball that can be used on a variety of lane conditions and it has the most shape down lane for me for a solid ball I’ve ever had. Most stronger solids burn up on me on medium oil and I can only throw them on heavy volume. The Widow 3.0 retains energy and shape even if it’s not sport pattern kind of volumes. Black Widow 3.0 the first 2 words says it all "Black Widow". With the Gas mask core wrapped in HK22 based Aggression Solid cover stock. This ball will not disappoint. It is 1st out of the bag. It is very versatile for me. On the fresh I can play straighter angle with it and as the pattern breaks down I can open up the angles. It is very clean through the fronts with very aggressive back end. This is a must have for anyone. Go get one today you wont be disappointed.

I went with a short pin layout on the ball and it completely blew my expectations away!!

I have thrown a lot of Black Widow bowling balls over the years, but this might be the best one yet. For me this ball is currently the big hooking ball in my bag, and it fits that spot pretty well. For a sanded ball, I am still able to get this to the breakpoint easily without it overreacting. When it reads the pattern the Gas Mask core takes over and really hooks strong off the spot. Unlike some other sanded pieces, this one doesn't jump hard, all that energy is directed right at the pins before it destroys them.

Another great Widow to add to your arsenal. The HK22 - Aggression Solid coverstock around the 'historical' BW gas mask core makes a great combination for multiple oil patterns. League and tournament bowlers will like the mid lane roll on this ball as well as the responsiveness at the break point. Reminds me of the old Black Widow Bite.

Hammer has done it again with its new Black Widow 3.0 The gas mask core is back and combined with the solid version of the HK22 cover stock make this is one of the smoothest balls in my bag. This ball is super predictable and perfect for any medium/heavy oil patterns. It’s very continuous through the pins. Definitely a fantastic benchmark ball in my opinion.

I’ve been looking for a big solid ball for the top of my bag that don’t just hook early and die off. This widow 3.0 is just that. Hammer went back to its roots with the color scheme and the shelf appeal is on point with the legendary black and orange. These colors are visually pleasing rolling down the lane as well. The hk22 aggression solid coverstock really lets this ball dig in and slow down. It’s great to see a big ball dig in the oil and not bleed off on the back end making it easy to throw. The 3.0 fits in the widow lineup with ease making it a go to for heavier oil conditions when your 2.0 hybrid just won’t see the lane early enough.

So good as customer service is I asked that the 801 gold label was same price just exchange it for a 15 lb 801 for me. So they did. I was surprised that customer service was able to do this. Black Widow 3.0 is the latest greatest release in the Black Widow line and does not disappoint! This piece is very predictable with a smooth but strong motion downlane and through the deck. She will easily be your first pick out of your bag for medium to heavier oil patterns. It made it’s debut on the Earl Anthony pattern this past weekend which was very challenging. On the fresh, I was able to roll it to my target revved up but not throw it at it which would be peril. The response and hitting power just proves why the Black Widow line is and always has been a cut above. The black and orange coloration is turning heads in every bowling center and pro shop. SD-Atlanta I have upgraded from the Raw Hybrid Hammer Black and Orange, use a Urethane Purple for spares, Raw Black Hammer, and now have upgraded to the Hammer Black Widow 3.0, and let me tell you that was AWESOME!! The 3.0 is a badass ball. The 2nd time I used it I bowled a 200. The next time I went to practice the next week I went into the pro shop to let the owner know how that was a badass bowling ball and how well he drilled it. There was a Gentleman standing next to him when I said that comment. The Gentleman was the Brunswick rep in that area. All he could do was grin from ear to ear after what I had said.

This ball has a perfect hook. It's great and will clean out the back end. Perfect for someone who has a lot of revs on there ball.

Hadn't shot a 700 series in over 2 years. Purchased 3.0 a month ago. Last week 668 series this week 702 series yea Buddy. Informed Cousin about ball4 months ago. He never bowled a 600 series in his life and never averaged over 162. He's been bowling 4 over 15 years. Since purchased 0f 3.0 he's shot five 600 series and shot his first 300 game. It was a great ball out of the box just what I wanted after using it for 6 months it lost all it's back end. Did everything detoxing, sanding helped some but after a game and a half it started to flatin out. Worse investment for me. Looking for something else.

At 12#, this ball still strikes like my 14#. I use it on the days when I have low energy and still have to bowl in league. I had my doubts that it would perform like my 14# bc of the weight block change, but it didn’t disappoint. It goes longer bc of the higher RG and lower Diff, but still hits like a Hammer! I think I’ll be surprising a lot of people when they find out I’m rolling 12#. This change will keep me in the game after I past my sixties and beyond. Sometimes you gotta think outside of the box and take a chance.

I had to go down in weight so I bought a ball I didn't know anything about. I struggled over a year and dropped my average by 15 pins because I couldn't control the curve. I was standing left of the last dots on the left side and still throwing Brooklyn. I gave up and researched balls and their cores. I am in love!! I was able to move back right and throw excellent pocket shots with great back end reaction. Highly recommend!

Bought this ball and used it for a few months as I was relearning and improving my game after a 20 year hiatus. Unfortunately I got caught up in a bunch of ball purchases over those few months and let this one slide to the back of the rack, where it sat for 10 months. Then, on a whim, for fun I pulled the 3.0 out on Halloween as it's colors matched my jersey, and proceeded that night to completely lose my mind. This ball was amazing that night, and has been ever since. Bowled 3 700+ series within three weeks, bowled my highest series and highest game ever with it, won the city tournament with it, and just can't say enough about it. This ball makes me feel like I'm in control, gives me the forgiveness I need, reads the lanes extremely well, and "hits like a hammer". My 3.0 is drilled 55x4x40, and provides plenty of hook for whatever situation I find myself in. Saw a few reviews of people hating it because it didn't work on their dry lanes. Yah, this ball is not meant for the dry-medium oil conditions, you need to use it on higher volume heavy/fresh conditions. After 4 straight weeks of pounding the lanes with it, I was convinced to build a BW bag, and now have the BW 2.0 Hybrid and BW Mania to go with it. Yah, looks like I found my match finally, and all 3 work awesome for my game through the transitions as they have different cover stocks, but the same core and RG/DIF. I recommend giving this ball a whirl for your game.
