Here we go with a uh another Rebel Ball review. Uh I don't know if you guys saw the last one on the Zero Mercy. So, that one was uh not my best, but uh got a lot of feedback from it. So, I thought I'd do another one. They came out with two new balls again. Um, they brought back the danger zone and um, and I guess an a pearl version of it. An ice. I don't know what it's called. I
don't know the numbers. Don't ask me. They're right here. Look. Or right here. He'll put them up here or there. He'll put them somewhere. I don't know what they are. Don't ask me. Um, so they just came off the press. I threw a couple shots to warm up. Um, let's see what they do. So, this is just the danger zone. Guys remember this ball from I don't know long time ago. Some in the 90s maybe. I don't know. >> Oh, let's see what they do.
>> Strike one. >> Okay, first shot. I'm not going to make the comment I made last time. That way in case we need to edit, we will. No more pocket 810s, [ __ ] >> What you call me? [screaming and groaning] We're going on a modified house shot. I wanted to put out something a little easier. Try to make me look a little better than I did last time cuz um it wasn't very good. Ball looked
good. I didn't. Danger zone. Three for three. Uncut. Okay, I got to throw this pearl one, but I think I'm gonna throw this one until I miss. So, this could be a long video.
Hope you got a lot of film in that camera. We might be here a while. unedited danger zone. Doesn't it just look pretty? Look at it. It's nice and black. Black balls are the best, aren't they? Remember that logo? Okay.
Bye, Bagger. I swear I'm going to throw the other ball, but I'm not going to do it until I miss cuz that's just that's what I said. So, I'm sure he'll edit something to make me look like I missed or something. Uh-oh. Got it right. Oh, doesn't matter. Six in a row.
Should I switch balls? Cuz I mean, I don't I don't want this to be like a 20 minute video, but damn, this ball's good. I did that on purpose. See, that's a professional tenpin right there. We do that when we [music] want to get out of like a proam. We leave that and then we
miss it. We don't have to finish the 10th frame. So, I did that on purpose. All right. So, now I'm going to switch to the Pearl. And uh I'm going to stay in the same spot. They're drilled exactly the same. They both have the same layouts in them cuz I wanted to compare the two for those asking even though I never tell them. This one is 70x 5x 30. 70 x 5 by 30. You think I'd remember? I just drilled them. So 75 70 by 5 by 30 on both of them. Let's see what the Pearl does. All right. So I'm going to
stand in the same spot. It's probably going to be pretty close. I mean, it's not a very strong core in them, so layouts aren't going to make too much of a difference. Let's see. DANGER. [screaming] That was a bad shot. Butter strike. Modified house shots. I like those. As long as there's no lefties bowling,
that's good. That's good. I like that. Can't beat the left side on this. >> YOU CAN DO BETTER. Little cleaner. You can see the pearl taking effect there. Just a little cleaner. Still goes through the pins the right way. I'm big fan. I'm a big fan of symmetrical balls. So, I've always liked symmetrical
balls, especially bowling on tour. We we burn them up so much that [music] sometimes the asins are just too much for me. So, um, I'm always a big fan of symmetrical balls. So, these two are these two are going to get used a lot. They're getting ready to oil for league.
I got to hurry up. I didn't know if I was going to strike this much. I hope you got that one on tape. That was cool, man. That was cool. Did you see that? That was cool. Stone eight. Not so fast, my friends. That's That's four in a row with that ball. See if I can get six in a row with this one like the other one.
Oh my god. Oh, I tell everybody 14 lb trips more for pins. I'm telling you, if you're thinking about going down, don't be scared. 14 lbs. Where's that? Senior weight, baby. Five bagger. All right, six for six. Here we go. I got to throw it better than that last one, though.
My video guy's back here shaking his head. He never seen nothing so good before. >> I don't know. He has not missed. He missed one on purpose. I think I want to see how deep he could go with with this one. >> We're going to go deeper when I miss. Right now, I'm going to try to throw 12 in a row. What's that? Six. I lost count. 12 out of 13. Here we go. Number seven. >> Dangers [screaming] are
>> Oh, baby. What do they do those one? What do they do on? I don't know what they do. They like, "Oh, we're going to bowl a quick game. First 12 with the ball." Whatever they do. I don't know. I've never done one of those. But you're seeing it right now. The first seven shots with this ball. Seven in a row. Number eight coming up. >> I did that on purpose. I did that on
purpose. I did that. I did that on purpose so I can move deeper. All right. So, that was a bad shot, but we're not going to talk about that. All right, so we're going to move a little deeper and see if we can uh get the big wheel back into play. Definitely with that danger zone, the solid one. I think that's going to be I think I can hook the whole lane with that. So, we're going to we're going to give it a shot. Like I said, it's pretty easy shot. Probably something you're going to bowl league on. And uh I think these balls are going to be great in league, especially game two, game three
when they start to break down a little bit. Um, I know we're going to use this ball at my center a lot. So, let's see what this black one can do. All right, we're going to move five left to start. See if we can get it over there. All right, let's try the pearl. They're trying to ice me. They didn't set a full rack. I don't want to cheat you guys.
All right. Same spot with the pearl. This ball looks like a Remember that amethyst? What was that? A track kinetic amethyst. SP kind of looks like that. It's a good looking ball. I like the color. Ah, that was a good shot, too. All right, five more with the with the solid. This is a little deep. I don't
know if this metro I don't know if this got enough core to get over there, but see what happens. Yeah, delete. Delete. That's the the delete. See, I can't move that far left with this ball. So, there you go. First 15 shots or so. Um, I'm going to throw a few more just for the camera, but um, it is what I mean, it's a it's a it's a great ball for the price point. I [music] think this ball is going to
dominate the pro shop sales for a couple weeks for sure. Um, I know we have a lot of pre-orders already, so check it out. Go to your pro shop, tell them TD sent you, and um, if you get a chance, uh, check out my new website, bowlingkicksicks.com. I think you'll like that. if you need some shoes. Um, check it out. And like I said, just uh stay tuned for more videos coming soon. Throw a few more shots for you.
Legacy core 96 reborn. Black solid rolling reads the lane strong. HK2 BOT AND see it pick up slow. How shot killer keeps you in control. I WANT TO RIDE through the danger zone. Middle ain't red. Yeah. [music] Taking me home.

Same core legend, but the tick's not the same. Smooth through the oil blends wet and dry. This one sets the [music] table, keeps the angles alive.

Then you make the move. When the fronts are gone, purple eyes shine. And when the pattern's long, clean it through the heads. Then it snaps down lane. HK22 PEARL BREAKING THROUGH THE FRAME.

Oh, you see that pearl? Cuz now that I'm in a lot more oil, you can see how much longer that pearl went. But it stored that energy and it came ripping back. So, uh, I hope you like what you saw. Unedited, uncut. Don't cut any of them out. No A10s tonight. All right, guys. Uh, thanks for watching. Till next time. Peace out.
Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
Testing revealed the Brunswick Danger Zone to be a versatile performer across multiple lane conditions. Independent reviewers observed strong angular motion through the oil pattern, with the ball demonstrating approximately 5 inches of flare potential due to its 0.048 differential. On the test lanes, the ball showed consistent hook recovery and responsive motion when moved deeper into the pattern, while maintaining control on straighter lines when thrown with reduced axis rotation at normal speeds. The HK22 Power Coil 26 coverstock in its factory 500/1000/2000 Crown Factory Compound finish displayed good length through the front and midlane, with notable backend continuation once the ball transitioned into the friction.
Surface refinement testing proved particularly telling. After stepping the coverstock down to 4,500 grit to remove the factory compound, the ball’s aggression increased noticeably, revealing the true potential of the HK22 shell. At this fresher surface, independent reviewers observed significantly sharper angle changes and more pronounced pin action, demonstrating that the Danger Zone responds well to surface adjustments. The symmetric core design (RG 2.501, no mass bias) delivered predictable motion regardless of shot selection, making it equally effective for bowlers throwing hook shots or straighter deliveries. Testers confirmed the ball generated strikes consistently across multiple approach angles and lane positions, suggesting strong reliability in real-world scoring conditions.
Who Is This Ball For?
The Brunswick Danger Zone is an excellent choice for intermediate to advanced bowlers seeking a dependable symmetric-core workhorse for medium-heavy oil conditions. Bowlers in transition between different shot shapes will appreciate its versatility—it responds equally well to aggressive hook shots and more direct angle approaches without requiring dramatic technique adjustments. The reasonable $119.95 price point combined with proven performance makes it accessible to league bowlers building or refining their arsenals, while the responsive nature of the HK22 coverstock appeals to those willing to experiment with surface maintenance.
This ball is particularly well-suited for bowlers who prefer benchmark-style equipment that doesn’t demand perfect execution to perform effectively. It will satisfy both “hook guys” and “straight guys” in the same session, making it valuable for those who encounter varied lane conditions within a single league night. However, bowlers already carrying multiple strong hooking balls in their bags may need to evaluate which piece they’d remove, as the Danger Zone’s all-purpose character means it could overlap with more specialized equipment.
The Pros

- • Legacy name reborn with modern technology

The Cons

I was 16 when this ball came out. It was "THE" League ball to have back in the day. Certainlly a good purchase now since its a fairly mellow ball compared to some of the other balls that are out. Great starter ball for the price and I hope that every new league bowler has gotten one :)

As a day one fan of the Brunswick Zone line I was ecstatic to throw this ball. I drilled mine up on the strong side and it did not disappoint. It jumped off the spot and was continuous through the rack. I was not expecting the ball to be this strong at this price point, but shout out to Brunswick for bringing true value on this one while maintaining the inegrity of the Zone line. If you wanna have some fun on the lanes go and pick one up for yourself today.
A superb ball for the price point - not skid flip but a very continuous roll once it finds the break point - a ball you will need to stay behind and not to get around
