Performance Analysis

Performance Analysis

The Ivory Rhino Pro features the HK22 Activator Plus 3.0 pearl reactive coverstock at 1500 grit polish — a combination designed for maximum length through the front part of the lane. The Vintage Light Bulb symmetric core at 2.56 RG is one of the higher RG cores in the Brunswick lineup, meaning it stores energy longer and delays its transition point.

With just .032 differential, this ball produces low flare and a smooth, controlled reaction. It won’t overreact on lighter oil patterns, making it a reliable option when the lanes start breaking down.

Who Is This Ball For?

The Ivory Rhino Pro is ideal for bowlers who struggle with balls hooking too early on medium or drier patterns. Speed-dominant players, straighter players, and league bowlers looking for a predictable pearl option will find this ball fills a specific niche in their arsenal — the clean-through-the-fronts piece that saves energy for a smooth backend move.

Ivory Rhino Pro is like a dream come true for me. I was a big fan of the teal Rhino Pro and this is the perfect compliment. they took the vintage lightbulb core and took the activator 3.0 pearl with HK22 and you will get a very smooth motion through the front and strong pop on the backend. For me. I use this ball on dryer house shots and I love the motion I get out of this ball.

Each and every bowler is different. Decided to go 40 x 4 1/4 x 30 layout as my versatility ball to compare my Hammer Radioactive Vibe 3000 sanded drilled the same layout. As a 13.5-14.5 MPH, low rev and down-and-in bowler, I opened up practice before the league play started. Noticed very predictable and controllable reaction which I liked. Started off Hammer Radioactive Vibe. Handled business. Glad I held off until game 2 to pick up Rhino Pro Pearl. It truly performed well and beyond my expectations. Went deeper to 3rd game, it became very continuous ball to my surprise. 4th and final game, it went flat and didn’t handle burnt out lane. Final thought for my style of bowling: This ball really does like transitional oil and gladly have it in my bag. Would I want another one? Yes! Make it a max flip with length drilled to combat that burnt lanes. Why? It looks great on the lanes!

The Ivory Rhino Pro is the follow-up to the Teal Rhino Pro originally released last year. The Ivory Rhino Pro features the same high RG/low differential Vintage Light Bulb symmetrical core found in the Teal Rhino Pro wrapped by an Ivory colored Activator Plus 3.0 Pearl coverstock with the HK-22 base. Box finish is 1500 Siaair underneath Factory Compound. The Ivory Rhino Pro is designed to be a quick response ball in the Brunswick line- an angular piece of equipment. From what I saw in throwing one, the Ivory Rhino Pro hits the target. Compared to a Teal Rhino, I see not only a quicker response but more down lane motion from the Ivory. I believe this release will be best used later in blocks in tournaments, or lower volume patterns where other pieces are simply reading too early. Additionally, this new Rhino Pro has great shelf appeal and will stand out when thrown in the bowling center. The Brunswick Ivory Rhino Pro is readily available- see your local pro shop for more information!

Great looking ball and it delivers great performance. I bowl around 18mph and have lower rev rate.
