[Music] change got no regrets I'm on the run chasing the check dropping the top riding the vet feeling myself what you expect you know I'm with it no better [Music] feeling what's going on YouTube World Charles here and evoke aeria voke Pro was just too simple so you know hey looks good give me Alpha krux Vibes so yeah man we'll
take a look we got this in a regular evoke and we'll see about some other comparisons in a secondary video but um yeah want to give this one a try man and this is kind of the main focus man so yeah interesting actually again it's asymmetric when you look at it it doesn't look like crazy asymmetric but yeah yeah should be a fun time uh the last of voke was a really early a really strong uh tum ball like you see EJ T use it like on the fresh when he's trying to really control the back ends and create a lot more front to back control so I
watched a little bit this week at the Nevada open and they using it on 39 ft looks pretty interesting so let's give her a go really want to see what it looks like so for everything else hit that like subscribe button and of course we have a lot more content coming uh as always man so hit like subscribe button man let's get to it all right so it does have some of the motive yeah it doesn't look super shiny but I got to believe it's some type of
compound on it so start [Music] 25 woo oh my warm-up shots is interesting flat 10 all right so throw another one yeah just get a little more comfortable got it rounded okay yeah this is a fresh house shot so I think the original evoke and we do have that here hit it with a little
surface I'm move a little right get the people going all right so again cheat a little bit closer to 20 close like 21 my feet all right so get pretty clean and like you said the the Primal was probably one of the quickest balls for them but it's still like really ignore the front part of the lane I got a lot
see if we can't get a couple on through the pins okay still again haven't caught it like normal yet but again that's again getting tent out and both balls are laid out exactly the same 60 by 5 by 30 all right see if we can catch this
one ah still speed so far 1638 is what it's reading at the monitor so not bad oh I caught that one that's going to take off yeah that crunch so I really got caught that one all right so I expect the evoke to be smoother I want to throw it but I just
got to believe it's going to be smoother with this first shot all right evok evok OG we going to start from 25 same spot oh yeah overall 100% saw that hooked like a lot earlier you saw pick up the lane and Tumble tumble tumble oh
jeez so we're going to say like I didn't hit up on a ball or that ball just could have puked I don't know we we're going to see definitely just oh down Lane oh oh that's two that's two of them that so I think we're going to be able to get getting a lot further right and
let this ball just uh roll cuz this ball is either when I've been able to pull it out it's it's been pretty smooth and Arcy I think that's why people like to use it on tougher stuff moving right cuz that's typically what I've seen from this ball like getting pretty Arcy probably had something still to do with you know layout wise I probably
could have went a little more aggressive especially knowing that this ball is going to be this smooth so float bang so V PE again I definitely more of the spot than what we just saw like I can be way more on top of it again both balls are laid out exactly the same but cover stocks right one's a
quicker respond and one's a more archier smooth look I'm try to get a little further left jump to about 20 eight my feet caught it pretty good ah flat 10 so this that is that appropriate time to do that no but that gives me a much more controllable shape cuz I don't know what would have struck from right there
honestly like even like a widow may have not came back from there it just needs oil needs a lot of oil in the front then might retain the [Music] shape slow more tilt so again is that like it's not a jackal you know it's not a jackal is somewhere in between and that's honestly the ball reaction I'm seeing from let's throw one more the regular vote before
we start the full game so too much in that in between Zone need to be much further to the right regular vage just again whether it's the layout whether it's the surface whichever that's what we're seeing so let's get to a full game with the vocal stereo we're going to stay in this 23 in area and see what we get we'll move off of that I don't feel
like I have to be super far left currently so just play in this this Zone oh buddy oh again I don't know if I'm just like getting strong I kind of threw that one 16 and it just getting Ary off of it oh I caught that one pretty
good yeah so aggression definitely can be a aggressive way more aggressive a little bit better all right so I'm again I'm going keep say a little more on top of it um I think I could you know move in but then I'm just creating
kind of more difficult pattern of like having some out of balance to the right I think this ball May hold across the middle may but I'm going stay here caught it pretty good there we go that was getting through the pins how I would like it
so definitely would break the surface a little bit like taking whatever their polish is off I think will help it be a little more consistent front to back and would actually help my ball reaction but again this ball is definitely not meant for you know game one I caught it pretty good good dang
so I like it it feels like it rolls a little bit heavier than like a equinox or a widow that's what it feels like feels like a you know higher end higher end heavy roll so again deflection isn't horrible um again the more I jump you know left I
have to be more cognizant of my speed so staying a little more direct right now makes the most sense oh l oh ultimate penalty missed in yeah not the ball fa it's definitely me missed in and that's all we got little hook
no zero hook so again definitely not the ball F I missed probably like five boards so if I would have struck I would like oh but it perfectly like high oh hook a lot oh blew the rack up blew the rack up I feel like I got to the bottom and kind of went a little like up forward it was all right not my best shot but still got some red rate on
it almost like a you know a tougher pattern roll oh that looks good ah shake shake shake I think if I stay there for like another game like I'll start to see more direct know left or right move oh see it yeah just Lally in the soup of it it
just get not enough service to deal with that and I think getting most balls I send in there I was almost 17 m per hour on that shot too so it's just see it bang all right so not much so we going to get lucky here and we we got 230 left and again with really one airand shot that stopped us from having like a 250
game well two airon right that was a really bad shot friction hooks so feed it to the friction looks all right let's pick up the the OG uh evoke and just see play a little bit um got a smidge amount of [Music] time little
transition so the last shots didn't hook that one hooked let's see if the second shot does the same thing cuz I'm not going to move last time it moved it it left me some some funky so let's see if it just had time to get some oil off of it pushed right through it for that first shot you saw like kind of duck really early so then I'm going to get to uh a primal just so some of y'all who
curious I a't going to do a completely separate video with the Primal it was by far one of the most popular motor balls fell a little bit so there we go stay right there it's struck so yeah control control control I think that's kind of the homework probably this core like the
core itself is just you know smoother all right a vokey voke going back to this one and this the color combination is popping bro the logos the motive logos are are just a little bit [Music] different there we go that was worth
keeping the camera on right there man I don't know if I can throw another prettier ball than that you know got all the motion pins flying but we going to try all right let's try the Primal let's just see I have a feeling it's just the lane the amount of oil star 25 shiny that [Music] hooked that hooked for sure I'm going
throw that to the right cuz it could have just hooked I left it like all the way in the friction but we' seen the other one the other evoke sterea not do that yeah so again there's some oil out there in that one so there you go definitely need some transition on on the lane let's pick up the vocus area one more time we want to get out of here
100% a ball up 100% a ball up aeria is it going to go right in the back it's hard to tell we got to throw it a little bit more um we got some events coming up I will pull it out and we're going to see does it get some play um you know again they got the looks I think the Shelf appeal is like 10 out of 10 but does it does it work man a couple different houses uh I think it's like a US Open pattern coming up for me so we'll check it out see what we get all
right [Music] 25 all right man we did some striking today there you got it hit like subscribe Button Man pick up some shamies man we got these new and approved much better than the original product man shout out to DH Labs man they help me out get these and of course we got some more stuff coming so stay the look out guys appreciate you as always U get to bart.com coolwick 12 bagger if you want these get to cool.com
the only one who have them and stock [Music] man I'm so locked in right now
Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
Testing revealed that the Motiv Evoke Hysteria occupies a distinct middle ground between the original Evoke and the Primal in Motiv’s lineup. On a fresh house shot, independent reviewers observed that the Hysteria’s reactive pearl coverstock produces earlier and more aggressive hook potential compared to the smoother, more arcing characteristics of the original Evoke. When thrown from similar angles and layouts (60×5×30), the Hysteria demonstrated noticeably quicker midlane response and backend aggression, picking up the lane earlier and creating more pronounced tumble in the friction zone. Speed readings consistently registered around 16.3-16.4 mph throughout testing, with the ball exhibiting what testers characterized as a “heavier roll” feel—heavier than comparable reactive pearls like the Phaze II or Widow.
The ball’s performance proved most effective when bowlers committed to playing from more direct angles rather than moving excessively left. Testing showed that surface adjustments—specifically light surfacing to remove some of the pearl’s initial shine—noticeably improved front-end control and consistency. Reviewers noted that maintaining position and relying on the ball’s natural motion produced cleaner, more predictable reactions than attempting to manipulate trajectory through extreme approach angles. On oil patterns that still retained adequate front-lane conditioning, the Hysteria generated reliable drive and impressive pin action; however, as the lane transitioned and friction increased in the midlane, the ball’s aggressive nature sometimes led to overreaction if speed wasn’t carefully managed. One notable surprise during testing was the visual aesthetic appeal—testers remarked that the color combination and Motiv branding created exceptional shelf appeal despite the ball’s technical performance requiring careful hand selection.
Who Is This Ball For?
The Motiv Evoke Hysteria suits bowlers stepping up from entry-level reactive equipment who want a heavier-hitting option for house patterns and moderately challenging conditions. It’s an excellent choice for players who throw 16+ mph ball speed and prefer a more aggressive backend response without committing to asymmetric balls designed strictly for sport shot conditions. The $199.95 price point makes it accessible for league bowlers looking to expand their arsenal with a heavy oil specialist that doesn’t require the technical finesse or lane-reading skills demanded by pure control balls.
This ball will frustrate bowlers who struggle with speed consistency or those seeking maximum lane control and predictability. It’s not a “first throw of the night” option—testers emphasized it works best once bowlers establish a solid line and adjust to its natural motion tendencies. Conversely, bowlers who already own a regular Evoke may find the Hysteria redundant unless they specifically need more aggression for heavier volumes or are willing to dedicate practice time to mastering its slightly more volatile response. It represents a smart mid-tier investment for competitive house league players and weekend tournaments on fresh or moderately oiled conditions.

Bowlers frequently mention:
Evoke Hysteria Ball Review The Evoke Hysteria is the newest ball added to the Evoke line. It has the Propulsion MXV Pearl Reactive cover that gives you a clean strong motion. It’s designed for medium/heavy oil patterns and made for when you need something a bit quicker but still controllable. The Evoke Hysteria has the Overload asymmetrical core. The Evoke Hysteria creates a very strong motion and is great for medium/heavy oil patterns especially when the pattern calls for a cleaner predictable ball. This ball should fit the upper middle of the bag when the earlier balls are giving to much traction in the fronts. This ball is a great add to the arsenal and Motiv really created an amazing piece here.
Shot 268 after a few warm up balls on the same lanes as league. Very strong ball that is continuous. If you play the middle it will sit, but it shines on more of swing shot.
I have yet to throw this ball, but i will be. I am excited to see what it does on the lanes.

The Evoke was already one of the most versatile balls I had seen in a long while. Now wrapped in a powerful and very controllable pearl, the Hysteria is on another level. It felt like it always had miss room, and carried all the off hits I could throw at it. I see this one fitting a lot of different types of bowlers, and being a piece could you see working on any kind of shot or condition.
The Evoke Hysteria is without a doubt my favorite asym pearl I have ever thrown. It has taken all of the best aspects of the Crimson Jackal and amplified them. With that being said, I still believe you could carry both the Crimson and the Hysteria in the same bag without too much overlap! The Hysteria cover just allows the massive overload core to easily process down the lane without revving up too quick to allow a controllable dynamic response off of friction giving you the ability to utilize it on an extremely wide variety of conditions. I believe the Evoke Hysteria could fit in any bowlers arsenal! - MOTIV Bowling Staff Member, Anthony E.
