"This Ball Is Sneaky"
SWAG Fusion
Drilled 50 x 5.25 x 25
PAP - 4.5 over and 1 up
The Fusion from SWAG bowling will be the ball that will catch you by surprise. It did in terms of how it cleared the mid-lane and made a definitive move for me. This allowed me a GAP filler from Judge and Dragon and less snappy from Unreal. Being an Symmetrical Piece, it felt like Gamebreaker Solid type motions. The price point is also very convincing for the performance you get.

This ball is absolutely becoming one of my favorites in my bag. It allows me to play multiple angles. From playing straighter to moving left and opening up the shot. Would definitely recommend this ball. Love the direction this ball is letting me go.
If you’re in the market for a new benchmark ball, you have found it. Perfect ball for league play and medium volume sport shots.
This ball here should have a spot in everyone bag it can cover the boards when you need it to and still have the power to explode the pocket

The SWAG Bowling Fusion is in the Modern Performance Line with a Xplode solid cover and symmetric core. It has a 2.57 RG / .038 Diff and is 3000 grit sanded out of box. I drilled this ball 55/4/35 with a PAP of 5 over 7/8 up. This ball is a great league ball in my opinion. It played up the right side of the lane well and had continuation through the pins. The colors are awesome and this ball would do well in the fresh for league or during tournament transition. The colors are vibrant and logo is fun.

Fantastic ball! Smooth and predictable motion. Shot 229 254 248 on a league where I struggled for consistency.

This ball is an excellent fusion of core and cover technology. Together, the core and cover come together to provide an excellent benchmark reaction. Powerful continuation through the pins with enough length through the heads to keep the ball from burning up on most league conditions.
This is definitely going to be the first ball out of my arsenal for league and tournaments!

The Fusion is definetly the first ball I am throwing everynight, drilled with a typical benchmark layout, the Fusion will be the ball i use first out the bag at any and all tournaments to get a great read on the lanes and how they are playing. This ball is smooth and has a very controlled roll throughout the pattern, comparable to the IQ tour in my opinion in how well it reads the lane and blends a pattern. The Fusion will be a great ball for all bowler types, and should be in every ones bag.
Swag may want to contact me on this one, as I haven’t struck much all season, and I’ve been striking quite a bit with this (with exception of one game which is all on me). Rolls great and allows me to read what it’s doing for ease of adjustment. Hits fantastic and seems to keep the pins low and mixing for me. Took a risk, and am more than happy with the result.

This is the first ball out of my bag for medium lane oil very controllable at the break point with minimal adjustments to stay in the pocket if you are looking for a smooth controllable ball this is it

I had compared this ball to the Swag Unreal with the Polish knocked off by a 2000 grit pad. I would say this ball is really controllable compared to the Swag Unreal that has a bit more of a snappy and violent backend. My Swag Fusion is drilled at a 50x4x20 and is very very controllable. This ball is so smooth and has no issues reading the midlane. I also tried this ball polished and can easily say it’s better with the surface. This ball would be optimal playing straighter up the boards rather than trying to hook the whole lane with it. First series out of the box in league was 719. This piece does well with fresher lanes for me.

I'm 74 with a 15mph, 325+/- rev rate and liked the smooth consistent read this ball gave me.
Swag set out to create a benchmark ball for their relaunch, and they nailed it. The Fusion gives a very predictable motion with amazing continuation through the pins.
I drilled my Fusion 60x5x45 which is about my standard symmetrical layout. Out of the box, it was a little cleaner through the fronts than I expected; however, the motion at the end of the pattern reassured me of how good this ball is.
Since I pretty much just bowl league these days, I ended up putting a rubbing compound on the Fusion, so I could play a little further right and throw it throughout the night. I struggled all season with carrying the 10, but I finished the last six weeks of the season averaging only 2 a night. I was averaging 6 a night before that.
Overall, this ball is fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new benchmark ball.
I have drilled this ball at 55 -3 - 35 and man this ball is a super controllable piece. I have used this ball several times over the past few weeks in leagues and it truly defines a benchmark shape. This ball is not jerky off the spot, and reads the pattern very well. I tend to throw this on most high friction houses and I get about 2 games before the ball starts to transition and force me a bit more inside. Excellent step down from a black dragon, and just a step above the craze solid with just a more pronounced round shape. Get yours soon you wont regret it
Chris Williams Jun 20, 2025
This symmetrical piece is one of the best pieces I have ever purchased. Very controlled yet strong on the backend.
PAP - 4 3/4” right, 1/2” up
DAS - 50 x 4 1/4 x 30
I threw it on a lightly used typical house shot, medium/light oil about 42’, as well as a moderately used house shot with heavier oil and more carrydown. I’m more speed dominant, throwing about 15.5mph, with a medium rev rate. I typically play down-and-in, targeting between 5 and 15, depending on lane condition.
This is a great benchmark ball, and for me sits between The Unreal and Black Dragon. It is “strikingly” smooth and even compared to the aforementioned balls. On the 42’ house shot, it gave me the best look of the three because it was the most consistent and predictable. On the used house shot, it was a bit smoother, giving me a little bit less room to play than The Unreal or Black Dragon.
This ball offers an even and effortless curve to the pocket, with a strong continuous roll.
Kenny “The Hackjob” King Jun 21, 2025
Drilled this one for my daughter at 25x3-3/8x25. Her first shots with it were on PBA Shark 48’ and it did exactly what it was suppose to do… STRIKE! She has seen a ton of success with it on sport and house! It is one of her benchmark balls to feel out the lane conditions.
I originally purchased the SWAG fusion bowling ball to be a great option for the burn in my leagues due to the medium differential numbers (.036). what I found was a smooth ball that allowed me to stay in zones much longer on a house shot and a BEAST on medium length sport patterns due to it being very controllable!
As a stroker type bowler, for me the ball responds very well to different hand positions. typically with smaller differential bowiling balls, when I try to roll the ball very forward, I have issues with getting the ball to go through the pins well. Not the case with this ball! Just get the ball rolling and it wants to be continuous,
PAP 5-1/4x1/2 up
Layout 55x3-1/2x35
Left-handed bowlers' perspective. This is a good benchmark ball for me. This ball is a good ball for the third game right after the black dragon. It is a great ball on the medium to light oil conditions.

Fusion-Ha! For all my anime fans out there, if you know you know. Greetings again, I have the privilege of representing Swag. This will be my initial review for the Swag Fusion. I think soon you will Google “benchmark ball” and you will see a picture of the fusion. Out of the box it was giving me last season’s Swag Ace vibes. Another great piece available here at bowlersmart.com. So, I already had expectations. I intend to use this one on house shots. So I went with my 4 x 45. Did I see the new ball magic immediately? Yes! First ball on fresh off the press standing on center dot right up 5 revved right into the pocket. It didn’t deflect. If you have seen any of my other reviews I am noticing this is kind of our thing. There was something else I noticed too. The pins were kept low as well. To me that that is a great indication of high potential carry. But back to the ball motion. So I started cheating left with my feet 3 boards and 1 with my eyes just to see if I would leave a flat 10. I did this for a game and a half and it never happened. And the shape was very archy and predictable. If I got it what I thought was out of bounds oh that’s not coming back but it would. Now it wasn’t screaming or a hockey stick motion but it did recover. Where I see this ball in the bag is that this truly is the ball to start with when you want to know what is out there. This will tell you if you need something a little stronger or if you need to ball down. Or in some instances it might be just right. All in all, another solid piece here by Swag. Comes at 3000 but the cover can easily be manicured to whatever condition you roll on. Thanks for checking out my review, until the next one, your best friend’s favorite staffer Swaggy CB is out for now…

Have this ball currently laid out 60 by 4 by 35 and it gives me enough of a clean look through the fronts,. specifically on medium to heavier fresh patterns. The ball is a do everything ball that is a perfect transition ball or step down from the dragon or judge. You can literally play anywhere from 10 to about 35 or so with decent speed and angle and this ball will continue like no other. Great hit for the SWAG brand please go get one!

I originally snagged the SWAG fusion bowling ball to be a great option for the transition in the houses i bowl at due because of the medium diff. The ball is smooth and allows me to play my proffered zones later on a house shot and if you do bowl on a sport shot the ball is a solid choice for when you need controled motion. My playstyle is tweener, and this ball can honestly be played in most zones, even for someone without alot of hand. Its easy to get the ball to respond to different hand positions to help you attack the lanes effectively. I did drill mine slightly longer because I wanted to use it when the lanes start to break down and this ball has definitely helped me do that. The ball also responds well to surface changes in case the dull finish isn't working for you. This ball impresses and turns heads everytime it comes out.
This ball has grown on me now and more after some surfaces changes i can't throw this ball enough
The Fusion is a smooth symmetrical ball that grabs early and through the midlane. This ball has the closest motion to what Swag was famous for before, with a strong, smooth cover and relatively smooth shape on the lanes. While the core is a bit weaker, it allows a synergy with the strength of the cover that will blend oil conditions and help provide a controllable look when you need something to consistently pick up and read near the cliff without making a sharp, heavy turn when it encounters friction. This ball fits in the 3-ball range, and despite the weaker core, is an outstanding middle of the bag piece to build around thanks to the smooth, controllable roll and mid-high strength potential.
The Fusion comes out of box at 3000 sanded, leaving it with plenty of room to adjust the surface to complement needs of the bowler. Hit it with a lower grit pad, and the ball will smooth out to a near urethane shape with reactive board coverage. Hit it with some shine and the Fusion's strong cover will gain a bit of length without becoming overly angular.
Ive purchase the fusion and this ball is really amazing on lanes . it gets back really good and has a great motion on the lanes highly recommend it and Definity put this your bag its beyond really worth it\.

The SWAG Fusion is a standout piece from the latest wave of releases — a smooth, reliable, and deceptively strong ball that’s quickly become a staple in my arsenal. Designed with control and consistency in mind, the Fusion delivers exactly what you want in high-friction environments or when the lanes start to transition.
What really sets the Fusion apart is how effortlessly it gets through the front part of the lane. The motion is clean and fluid with no early grab or choppy reads. But don’t let that smoothness fool you — once it reaches the midlane and begins to shape, it shows off a surprisingly strong and continuous motion through the backend. It’s not over-reactive or “jumpy” off the dry, which makes it incredibly easy to trust when you need precision without sacrificing hitting power.
This ball truly shines when the fresh is hooking more than expected or when the oil pattern begins to break down. In those situations, where stronger or sharper pieces might be too much, the Fusion brings stability and control without giving up carry. It’s that perfect in-between ball: smooth enough for control but strong enough to finish.
The SWAG Fusion has earned a permanent spot in my tournament and league bags. It’s one of the most dependable reactions I’ve seen from a new release and gives me the confidence to stay in the pocket without having to force the issue with speed or loft.
Final Verdict:
If you’re looking for a smooth, mid-lane controlled ball that still packs a backend punch without overreaction, the SWAG Fusion is a top-tier option. It bridges the gap beautifully between your early hook pieces and your late-game pearls, making it an essential part of any serious bowler’s lineup.

Going through an injury What this ball does is hook. Can’t wait till I’m 100% to see how strong it really is. Definitely on a par with phase two and rocstar

I love this ball i have it drilled pin down. What i can say is that it reads the lane with no hesitation. Its smooth and very predictable, the backend motion i love with the pin down layout it doesn't over hook or belly's on me. The shape it makes is crazy, it never fails get to the pocket and pushes the pins straight back.
I was starting to wonder where this piece would fit in the bag and almost gave up hope until i used it on the sport shot and MAN! Very smooth and controllable!

This ball is so versatile. Probably one of the best swag balls I've ever thrown. Don't believe you'll be disappointed by no means with this one ... Love it
Cory G. – SWAG Staff Member - I am a right-handed, thumb-in bowler with a PAP of 5 5/8" over and 1" up, drilling the Fusion Solid at 60 × 5 × 30. This ball gives you a true benchmark solid reaction, making it an excellent choice for typical house shot league patterns. The Fusion Solid provides clean length through the front part of the lane while maintaining a smooth, controllable backend motion. It blends the lane exceptionally well and does not overreact to friction, giving you the confidence needed to stay in play and repeat shots. I also used the Fusion Solid on the 2025 PBA 37’ Bat pattern, and it looked outstanding for the first several games—offering predictability, control, and strong continuation without being jumpy. If you’re looking for a reliable benchmark ball that performs on both league and tougher tournament conditions, the Fusion Solid is a must-have addition to your bag.
This is an old reliable for me when I get to the back end of game 2 into game 3. When the lanes burnt up I love being able to stay right and watch it roll into the pocket without having to swing it out. Finishes well and is very consistent
BowlingPro67 Jan 18, 2026
This is truly one of the most spectacular bowling balls I've ever owned. This thing hit so freaking hard it's sending messengers in a bowling center that does not have messengers. Incredibly clean consistent role and did I mention that this ball hits incredibly hard? I like this ball so much I need to buy a couple more and stash them. You will not be disappointed with this ball!
THIS BALL TOTALLY TOOK ME BY SURPRISE! THIS IS THE TENTH BALL THAT I'VE BROUGHT FROM SWAG BOWLING OFF THE REBRAND. I HAD THE FUSION HYBRID AS ONE OF MY TOP FIVE BALLS OF YEAR, THE SOLID IS NOT TOO FAR BEHIND. SO I USED 2 DIFFERENT LAYOUT. THE FUSION HYBRID 60X4.5X30 AND THE SOLID 60X 4 5/8X 40. I WANTED A BALL THAT WOULD BE SMOOTHER ON SOME HIGH FRICTION LANES IN SOME BOWLING ALLIES THAT I BOWL IN. SO, I'M A NUMBERS GUY. THE FUSION SOLID IS RG 2.54 AND DIFF .036 IN 15 LBS. THOSE NUMBERS TO ME MEAN LENGTH WITH MEDIUM FLARE.THE FUSION IS IN THE MODERN PERFORMANCE LINE WITH SWAG RATING CHART WHICH IS A STEP UP FROM THE ENTRANCE PERFORMANCE LINE, BUT PLAYS SO MUCH BIGGER IN MY OPINION. THIS BALL COMES 3000 SANDED, BUT THE SURFACE CAN BE ADJUSTED FOR YOUR DESIRE. POLISH FOR MORE LENGTH OR MORE SURFACE FOR A EARLIER ROLL. THIS BALL WILL DEFINITLY BE THE FIRST BALL OUT MY BAG IN LEAGUE.

This was the first Swag ball I bought, and I fell in love with it. It goes everywhere with me, It’s a must have in my bag. I threw it on house shot and on short pattern and did not disappoint. The motion of the ball stays consistent and really drives through the pins. My PSO suggested a pin down drilling to fit my bag and he was not wrong. This is my go to ball when the lanes get tough. The Fusion Solid would be a great benchmark ball, just put your favorite layout on it and go strike a lot. The cover holds up for about 20-30 games before I had to hit it with a 3000 surface pad.
Jacob Martin Feb 15, 2026
Drilled this rock 50x4.5x35. This ball is my go to ball when things aren’t looking right. It’s my benchmark, and I can usually throw it on anything and everything. Give me good control while still storing energy to get through the pins! Off the press, I went 278 with it (5-7 in the fifth) so definitely loved this ball fast!

The Swag Fusion Solid has quickly solidified its spot as my go-to benchmark ball. Its standout feature is its incredible versatility; it provides enough traction to play straighter lines early on, yet possesses the recovery to move left and hook the lane as the pattern breaks down.
Even when opening up your angles, the Fusion Solid refuses to quit. It retains energy through the transition, ensuring it never loses drive and continues to punch through the deck with authority. This makes it an exceptional choice for medium to light oil sport patterns, where lane control is paramount. If you need a reliable piece that offers a predictable motion without sacrificing explosive pin action, this ball is a total game-changer.

Very happy with this ball's performance. I'm a senior bowler age 65 with composite average 210. I can use this ball on the fresh and play to the right down the boards or with a little swing as necessary. When the lanes begin to transition I can easily start moving left and the ball remains very controllable with excellent drive thru the pins. If called for I can move farther left and slow roll it and still get good recovery and angle into the pocket. There are times even with lane transition that I can use this ball for all three games without needing to switch to another ball. I feel this can be good benchmark ball that at times will be the only ball you need to get out of your bag.
Swag Staffer- I am a 2-handed right handed bowler. I love the ball reaction I get from this Fusion. It is a very versatile ball. The fusion gives you a reliable benchmark ball motion with dependable traction. Very controlled and consistent roll, meaning you don't have to worry about this being too snappy on the back end. Its a good option to have in your arsenal if your looking for a ball that isn't too aggressive but still offers strong continuation and lane reading ability.
The Fusion Solid is that ball I pull out when I need the lane to respect me.
This isn’t a guessing ball.
This is a set-the-tone ball.
When there’s oil in the front and I need something that’s going to read the midlane strong and keep going, Fusion Solid comes out of the bag. It doesn’t skate. It doesn’t float. It picks up and rolls heavy.
What I love about it is how predictable it is.
It grabs in the midlane, gives me that strong read, and continues through the pins without quitting. Not a sideways snap — just that strong, forward-driving motion that keeps the 8 and 9 low and makes the 10 think twice.
On fresh? Money.
On tougher patterns? Even better.
It lets me stay in control early instead of chasing the pattern later. I can square up, play tighter angles, and trust it to face up to the pocket.
And when I move left? It still holds its line and doesn’t bail on me.
For me, the Fusion Solid is the tone-setter. The one I start with when I want to control the lane instead of letting the lane control me.
Strong. Smooth. Reliable.
That’s Fusion Solid in my bag.

I purchased the Fusion Solid a few weeks ago, I got to throw it last week and I shot 205,197 out of box, this ball is turning heads on the lanes and a lot of bowlers are asking questions about swag and they are watching me throw each time I throw it.
This ball is a go to ball and a must in your bag.
Swagnation all day and every day.
I'm a right handed bowler with 14.5 - 15.5 ball speed and 320 - 350 Rev rate. I throw 14 lbs. My average is 210. On this ball I did my stacked layout which works out to roughly 70 x 4 x 30. This layout gives me a decent midlane read and a smooth but continuous motion off of the breakpoint. The Fusion has been a wonderful benchmark ball for me. In my house once I'm lined up in practice, the pattern will usually hold up for me to where I can use the same ball for the entire night. The Fusion allows me to quickly know which ball I should be throwing. If I need something to just be slightly earlier, then I can throw the Apex Solid, if I need a slightly stronger ball then the Unreal is the way to go for me. If I need a ball to go longer then I move into the pearls. All of the Swag balls have been amazing for me and have allowed me to raise my average from 196 this past summer to the current 210. I look forward to what they will bring out next.

Swag Fusion Solid is very smooth and continuous down lane through the pins in my opinion! With this piece I am able to control the pocket whenever urethane is being used on a house pattern or a sport pattern! My layout for this ball is 50x3x25
James Allen Bowling Feb 20, 2026
The Fusion Solid is a strong, early‑reading symmetrical that gives me the most traction in my bag when I need the ball to handle volume and stay stable through the midlane. For my game (≈500 revs, 14–15 mph), the Fusion Solid at factory box finish lets me stay in the oil longer and control heavier conditions without the ball over‑skidding or missing the midlane.
From my typical angles (around 25–27 to 14–15), the Fusion Solid reads sooner than my Apex or Unreal pieces and provides a heavy, forward roll that blends flatter or tighter patterns well. It’s the ball I trust when the lanes are fresh, the outside is tight, or I need something that won’t jump off friction but still continues through the pins.
At box surface, the Fusion Solid is clearly my strongest control option before moving into asymmetrical territory. It keeps me in the pocket on sport patterns and higher‑volume house conditions where cleaner balls start to skid too far or leave weak corners.
Specs (15 lb):
RG: 2.48
Diff: 0.052
Core: Symmetrical
Cover: Solid reactive
Finish: Factory box
Typical Use in My Arsenal:
• Fresh sport patterns / longer oil
• Higher‑volume or tighter house shots
• When I need earlier read than Apex or Unreal
For bowlers who prefer a smooth, strong midlane motion and want maximum control on heavier conditions, the Fusion Solid at factory finish is a dependable heavy‑oil benchmark piece.
When the fusion was released I had high expectations for it. When I got it, it blew my expectations out of the water. I never have to wonder if this ball will hook no matter how bad I throw it. It's clean through the fronts with a nice quick move to the pocket. The motion reminds me alot of the phase 2 and original idol. It's a perfect benchmark ball for all styles
Swag Fusion Solid is one of SWAG's benchmark symmetrical solid pieces. It's a very smooth and continuous motion down lane through the pins in my opinion! With this piece I am able to control the pocket whenever urethane is being used on a fresh house pattern or a fresh sport pattern! I would use this ball on game one a fresh house pattern, then switch to the Swag fusion hybrid for game 2 then move left as transition occurs after game 2! My layout for this ball is 50x3x25. You won't be disappointed! So put some Swag in your bag!
Javiel Sanchez Mar 5, 2026
After spending a month with this ball, it has earned a spot in my bag. Drilled it at 45x4.5x40, standard layout for me, out of the box was able to hold the mid lane very well. Getting a few games on it and a couple of cleanings is when it finally settled down and was more controllable front to back. It really showed as the backend motion rolled out real nice and hits sold in the pocket. For me this ball has heavy oil ball written all over it, but it does very well in medium as well. Overall if your looking for a controllable solid ball this is the one. Versatility on multiple patterns or just house shot, it really stands out with making small adumstements for entry angles.

This ball is versatile!
Change the surface for sport shot or leave at OTB for your league night. This ball should be in every bag.
