With all the new releases from Storm, Roto Grip and 900 Global I was wondering if I needed this ball in my bag. So, I got it and drilled it 55x4x35 and I was extremely surprised on how great this ball rolled. It is much stronger than I expected and yet still has good motion down lane. I can play inside and tight like 17 board to 12 board or outside 13board to 5board and have controllable ball motion still. I really did not think this was going to beat out some of the other great equipment released but the Burner has won a spot in my bag for sure.

The new Buner Pearl is a new version of the former 900 Global Afterburner. The biggest differences between this line and the old line starts with the core. The burner pearl uses the new Centroid Core which has a slightly lower RG of 2.53 versus 2.55 in the Afterburner with the differential numbers virtually being the same. The other main differencRead more about review stating Burner Pearle is the coverstocks. The Afterburner used the S62 Hybrid while the Burner Pearl uses the S62 Pearl. What this all means is that the new Burner Pearl will roll a little earlier on the lane while giving more angular backend reaction. It will give you that more true skid flip motion you expect to see on medium to lighter oil patterns. When I tried the burner pearl on a typical house shot, I saw a lot of length with a nice flip motion in the backend. It played well to hand change adjustments and had pretty good continuation when I had to move left into more oil. I feel that this ball could be used on fresh conditions if the lanes have higher friction or as a break down ball if the lanes are more tighter to start. For league and longer game tournaments, this ball will make its way into my bag very often.

This new Burner Pearl fits a spot in my bag that I really needed to fill. I needed something for when the lanes start to hook a lot and the Marvel Pearl is even seeing the fronts too much. When I threw this ball in my YouTube review, I was pleasantly surprised at the versatility it offered me. I was able to play to the right with tighter angles and also move left and throw it to the right at the friction. The further I moved left, the harder the Burner Pearl hooked back and seemed to go through the pins even better. This ball reminds me of the Electrify Hybrid, which was a really good ball. If you want a ball that offers versatility at an affordable price, the Burner Pearl is definitely the ball for you!

The new Burner Pearl is a must have in your bag, and at a great price too! This ball provides good length and has a nice continuous motion for me. Will get lots of use later in blocks or just on drier lanes or anything with low oil volume.

This is your ball if you are looking for your first HOOK ball!
Bowlers who are just now starting high bowling, wanting their first ball that is above their basic plastic or straight ball, or even advance bowler is that is looking for their dry lane ball.
The Burner Pearl is an excellent choice!
I bowl in a league that is still a wood house, and this is my go to when the lanes just completely burnt and I want to stay right with the ball.
I don't want to hook the lane a lot and play straighter. This ball is my go to !
Right up the Second Arrow, and medium speed and just walks into the pocket!

Hey everyone, I’m back with another ball review, and this time it’s for the 900 Global Burner Solid and In 15 pounds this ball is wrapped in the S62 Pearl Reactive Coverstock and comes 1500-grit polished with an RG of 2.53, Diff of .038.
Depending on the surface of the Burner Solid, bowlers will be able to use this on heavier condition all the way to a lighter condition. There are not many balls that can cover a variety of conditions, especially at an entry level price point. To give a comparison the 900 Global Burner Solid digs just a tad earlier through the front of the lane compared to the Pearl Burner. This two-ball release will be a nice transition when the “benchmark” balls are just too early. The Solid and Pearl will naturally be longer and stronger.

How do the Burners come out after the AfterBurner?? Anyways, the new Burners are much stronger than the After Burner. It almost feels as strong as say a Hyroad or a MVP. The Burner Pearl clears the fronts very well for me. In fact, I think this may be one of the cleanest bowling balls I have ever thrown. I highly recommend taking the box shine off of this ball so that you can stabilize the breakpoint or else this ball will break free when it sees friction. No one wants to shoot at 4 and 5 counts every game. If you elect to leave this ball shiny, you'll really only see this ball come into play at the end of a tournament block or on older wood lane surfaces. I used this ball on a flat condition when I needed to get in front of the ball return and it cleared the trash in the middle very well. I think the slower speed players will enjoy this ball more because of how well the ball clears the fronts.

60x5x40 scuffed with 3k pad. I also compared this to the after dark the burner Pearl was about 3 boards less then the after dark on house conditions. The burner Pearl gets through the mids cleaner then the after dark.

900 Global Burner pearl will be the ball of the year in this price point. Hard to improve on the Afterburner but they have. Simply a highend ball reaction at unbelievable price point. This ball will find it's way into both league bowler and tournament arsenals.

I was a big fan of the Afterburners, but they were a little too weak at times for me. In comes the Burner Solid and Pearl and the first thing I noticed about these balls was the strong midlane and how easy they rolled forward and never quit. I LOVE the ball roll I get from the new Burners
I put my Burner Solid pin down and it’s super clean and smooth and continuous, it gives me Hustle Ink vibes. It’s a great benchmark ball for the fresh.
My Burner Pearl is pin up and it’s AMAZING for light volume or transition. It feels like I can use it on much more volume than I could the Afterburners or even the Hustles.
Don’t sleep on the Burner Pearl or Solid, they are great lighter oil/transition balls from 900 Global

Burner Pearl:
The Burner Pearl features the S62 Pearl cover and the Centroid symmetric Core. The numbers on the Burner Pearl core are 2.53 RG, .037 diff.
Mine is drilled 4.5” to PAP with a 3.5” pin buffer. This is a great mid-level offering from 900Global. I would label the backend shape as fast response and medium strength. The Burner Pearl floats a little too far down the lane for my personally so I will get the most use out of the ball after hitting it will a 2,000 grit Abralon pad. If you like a skid-snap shape and a medium strength ball the Burner Pearl is a must-have.
United States
Burner Pearl:
I drilled up my Burner Pearl 4 x 25. The diff rating suggested a little more flare potential than the usual lower powered SPI offerings so I adjusted my back angle accordingly. Compared to my other lower end balls like the Hustles. the Burner Pearl is more skid/flip than the Burner on the backend. I get a few feet further than my Burner solid but more back end than the solid also. The Burners should be a good 1-2 punch for higher rev players looking for performance at a lower price point.
United States
The Burner Pearl features the S62 Pearl coverstock at a 1500 grit polished finish and the controllable Centroid symmetric core. S62 is of similar strength to Storm’s Reactor cover on the Electrify series and Roto’s VTC cover on the Hustle series, and is designed for light to medium volumes. Angel’s layout is the same as always, 5 x 3 ½ x 3 ½, that puts the pin above the bridge and kicks the psa out a couple inches. The Centroid core comes in at a 2.53 RG and .037 differential in 15 pounds and is a bit stronger than the cores in those other lines, but the general overall reaction is still in the light to medium oil and/or transitioned condition category. I’ve dubbed the Burner Pearl “Baby Zen,” as it has a very similar controlled and versatile look. It’s a nice blend of several different things, and will look great for the majority of bowlers on lighter to medium conditions that the Zen may be too much for, or once the Zen has begun to hook too much or too early. I rate the Burner Pearl a 4 on hook, a 7 on length, and a 7 on backend strength.

Does anyone remember the Roto Grip Loco Pearl??? Well, this is the bigger brother to that ball. Stronger than any Hustle Pearls up to the recent Wine Hustle and does not disappoint in the overall performance. This ball performed very close to the Hyroad Pearls I have drilled in the past at a lower price point. This will be the number #2 ball in the tournament arsenal along with its brother the Global Burner Solid. So in the bags will be in order: Burner Solid, Burner Pearl, Idol Synergy, RST-X1, RST-X2, and Zen Master or Zen.

Well, here we go. Going to the Pearl Burner from the Solid Burner...Its a ball to change to. Most of us see fresh oil when we start bowling, for me I use the Solid Burner, then once the lanes dry out a bit (all depends on who bowls and what ball they use lol) I switch to the Pearl Burner. So I normally start in between 2nd-3rd arrow, and take it out to the 8-9 boards...MAN THIS BALL ROLLS NICE. I could even play more towards 3rd arrow and roll it out and it comes back. If you tug it a little, it sits, if you get it a little right, she comes back. Its just a great combo Solid to the Pearl. The only thing I do, you can see my other reviews...YES I hit the Pearl with a 4000 pad, Its how I roll lol! I'm just really happy with these new 900 Global bowling balls. You wont be disappointed. Specially for the price!

One of the newest additions to the 900 Global line is the Burner. The masterminds in Utah created a Burner Pearl and Burner Solid. So far, after drilling the Burner Pearl, I believe it’s a perfect ball to use on medium-lighter oil volume patterns. I’ve drilled one Burner pearl so far and really like it. If anyone had drilled a Lights Out in the last 7-8 years, my goal was to find a ball to match that. I drilled the Burner pearl with the following statistics: 4 ½ x 4 x 70. This puts the pin above my ring finger and I also haven’t changed the surface.
Here are the times I believe I’ll get the most use out of the Burner Pearl: old / bad lane surfaces, lighter volume patterns, and late in blocks when patterns have been beat up. It’s a perfect ball to bring in case the Proton’s, UFO Alert’s, and Phaze II’s get tired. The Burner pearl is extremely clean with an RG of 2.53 and differential of .037. Also, when you drill one, I’d recommend drilling it a little stronger to make sure it still flares enough to hook.
Go drill a Burner Pearl for those old lane surfaces and lighter volume patterns!

Wow! The Burner Pearl is the perfect entry level ball but it's performed much better than is little price. With the S62 cover, The Burner Pearl works really great on medium to dry conditions, it is really versatile. The Burner Pearl has a great motion and hit like a upper level ball. It's perfect to pass through the burned transition. So, for a night begin in a bowling center where have less oil or a end league night or with many game played during a tournament, the burner pearl is my better choice !!! #goglobal #strikingworldwide #900globalquebec

The Burner Pearl is an absolute must-have in every arsenal! This is the perfect piece for your lighter to medium conditions, or even for when the lanes begin breaking down and begin to transition. For me, the pearl version of the Burner is perfect for when I need something to get down lane and be controllable without being super skid flip. I use this as the first ball out of my bag to give myself a true read of the lanes due to the fact that I can rely on the ball to be consistent in motion from one shot to the next. You won't regret your purchase of the new 900 Global Burner Pearl!

I drilled this one 65X5X30 and i can say this gets through the fronts so clean!!!!! Ive used this after my zen master is to much and im able to stay in the same area and keep my angles tighter. Super smooth down lane reaction without having to force it. Just like its solid version great bang for your buck hitting power is way more then entry level ball!!!
Great ball for entry level bowler there first ball learning to hook the ball to the experienced bowler when the lanes start to burn and wanna keep ur angles in front of you. Needless to say a ball that is always in my bag ready for that transition!!!

Great step down ball from the Zen for me.
Purposely designed to complement the 900G lineup the Burner Pearl with the S62 Pearl cover floats on a medium to light house shot making it a a killer 1 - 2 punch with the Zen.
I drilled mine 4 1/2 x 4 3/8 x 1 3/4 my standard pin up layout which allows me to read and mimic the shape I like to see my equipment make.
If you enjoyed the Afterburners the Burners are the best replacement on the market for performance and value.

900 Global Burner Pearl Ball Review: The Burner Pearl is a great ball for medium to dry lane conditions and fits perfectly just under the Ordnance C4 or your typical benchmark ball. The Pearl S62 cover is super versatile, very receptive to surface changes and conquers the fresh league conditions nicely. It reacts really well off the dry without over-reacting and clears the front half of the lane easily. Slower ball speed players and high rev players can stay in their comfort zone and not have to jump deep inside to get the ball to the pocket. It also has a slightly angular but continuous backend reaction. Everyone needs a ball for when the lanes aren’t juiced up. The Burner fills that spot and offers the best bang for your buck of anything out there.

The 900 Global Burner Pearl is the perfect complement piece to the 900 Global Burner Solid. The Burner Pearl is cleaner through the front and quicker in the back part of the lane, making it an easy transition from the Solid to the Pearl when the lanes transition. The Burner Pearl covers medium to medium-dry lanes, though it does have enough midlane traction to make it not sensitive to oil. This ball is not quite “skid flip”, though I wouldn't call the reaction “smooth” - to me, it is somewhere in the middle. I am quite happy with the lineup that 900 Global is putting together, as the Burners make it easy to create an entire arsenal with their equipment, top to bottom.

If you're looking for a ball to get to when the lanes transition and get super dry look no further. This ball clears the fronts and has plenty of down lane motion and continuation through the pins. This burner pearl will be more of a late game 2 to game 3 ball or if your house shot is medium to dry then it could be the first piece out of your bag. If you liked the after burners, these new burners are the balls for you. Get to your local pro shop and drill one of these up.

The Burner Series from 900 Global offers a more robust alternative to bowlers of every skill level. The Burner Pearl is an excellent choice for beginner bowlers but also has a spot in the bag for those seasoned veterans. With the S62 Pearl Reactive cover and the new Centroid Symmetric Core, this Burner Pearl strikes the competition hard. Let's take a look at how it handles a THS.
The all-new Centroid Core design for the advanced bowler does precisely what 900 Global says - it gives you a reliable reaction when the lanes have broken down. I liked how this core rolled crisply and cleanly through broken down conditions in late night and blended the over/under reaction we tend to see. Further, like found in the Burner Solid version, the Centroid Core in this Pearl had a firm rounded motion. It stores energy well - as seen by those late-night ten pins falling from its dynamic impact.
The S62 Pearl reactive cover brings a great look to the Burner line that rivals the Hustle RAP and gives many different style bowlers a reaction they can depend on. Acting as a new bowler, I tweaked the S62 Pearl surface to 500 grit Abralon, then a 1000 grit polish to see how it would react. I pleasantly enjoyed how this cover early on provided a clean skid, hook, roll ball motion. Seeing that motion makes the Burner Pearl a good choice for new bowlers that like color and style while learning the basics of ball motion.
I tweaked this cover to 2000 grit Abralon for a late-night session as a seasoned bowler, and the results were impressive. It could get down lane smoothly as a pearl, and the surface adjustment allowed the Burner Pearl to have a rounded motion to clear the broken-down pattern smoothly. In addition, the cover blended well through wet/dry conditions and was fluid through those spotty lines left by plastic and urethane. The S62 Pearl cover makes the Burner Pearl an excellent ball for a higher speed, low rev player who struggles when the conditions seem unplayable.
In conclusion, the 900 Global Burner Pearl stands well above your basic entry-level ball. It has a universal functionality to fit many styles of bowlers and, for the price, will deliver excellent results. As a pro shop operator, I would suggest this ball for many different bowlers, and I will definitely make it a staple in my shop. So, see your local pro shop operator today to see how the 900 Global Burner will fit in your arsenal! It's well worth it!

900 Global has revamped the 600 series line with the Burner. The Burner Solid and Burner Pearl both feature the highly versatile S62 Cover and the ALL NEW Centroid Symmetric Core. As a mid to low rev player the Burner Series fits in between the After Dark and Boost series. The Burner Pearl is a little more cleaner than the Burner Solid and more angular on the backend. Both the Peal and Solid will be great on light oil patterns and when the patterns are breaking down. I tested the Burner Pearl on broken down 42 feet house pattern. I was also able to stand 15 and play up the five board and move to 22 and the track area with great success This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. Order one from your local pro shop today! The new Burner series ball add a great performing pair of balls to the entry level price point for 900 global. The Pearl verison of the S62 coverstock is definitely the more responsive of the two balls. The centroid core provides predictable motion where you see more friction and the S62 pearl cover makes it kick when you get it there.
I tested the Burner Pearl this summer on the higher friction house pattern at my home center. I was a bit surprised at where I had to stand on the fresh. This ball really gets off the spot so I couldn't cheat as close to the friction as I did with the solid Burner. This made it ideal for when the lanes broke down a bit more and I needed a ball that could get through the front and create angle through the pins. THe Burner pearl didn't disappoint, it was nice not to have to really hit up on the ball to make it shape enough to carry. I've also found since our pattern has been lengthened and the volume raised that balls that can create more shape on a shorter back-end have been helpful. The burner pearl gives me a great option once the track burns up a bit.

Talk about a bang for your buck! 900 Global releases a new series starting off with the Burner Pearl. The Burner Pearl is a lower end pearl option for when players encounter dryer lane conditions. For me, this ball is perfect when I need a cleaner option to stand on top of the friction and play more to my strengths and use my ball speed, or when I have to get really far inside and I need a clean option, this is the perfect ball.
Burner Pearl has an RG value of 2.53 and a differential of .037 in 15lb. If you’re looking to have a compliment to your Hy-Road series, this burner pearl is a great addition to that line. Get your at your local Storm VIP Pro Shop.

900 Global Burner Pearl is a great entry level pearl ball. It has a lot of hook at such a cheap price point. The cover stock allows the ball to be very clean through the fronts and minds while responding to the friction down lane. It fits in my bag underneath the Ordinance series of balls and below the IQ tour Line. The ball it rolls the closest to would be an IQ Tour Emerald that goes longer and has more pop down lane.

Review:
The Burner Pearl will not be a hook monster like the Zen or Axiom Pearl but it does exactly what is designed to do. This ball is stronger than my Hy-Road Pearl and Hustle Au. Both balls are at box and only used when the lanes have really dried out and opened up.
The Burner Pearl creates nice length and responds to friction nicely. This ball will compliment my Zen when it is too strong but the Hy-Road Pearl isn"t strong enough yet.
This is definitely one of the first balls out of my bag on my second shift League and during the latter half of THS Tournaments and sport shot tournaments in games 5 or greater depending on volume and length of the pattern.
Summary:
This ball is a steal for the price point and replaces the Hustle AU.

Two new additions built to help with lighter conditions, which most bowlers are seeing more and more.
I started by throwing both balls as they came out of the box. Both being polished, on the weaker side, and being tossed on a fresh house shot on the heavier side, I saw minimal difference between the two after a couple dozen shots with each (which is what I expected).
After I saw that, I sanded the Solid to 2000. This gave me a totally different reaction. The adjustment got the Solid going much earlier than the pearl.
The Pearl gives me a "Hustle plus" feel. Very similar roll to my Roto Grip Hustle Wine, just a bit stronger. I love Hustle's...I probably mention that in 90% of my light-medium oil ball reviews. The Burners look like they could be a gap filler between the Hustle's and IQ series, which is something I will use often.
If you bowl leagues/tournaments on ligher oil house shots, a 3 ball arsenal of IQ/Burner/Hustle is something to check into.
The Burner's give me a little more angle than the IQ's and Hustle's, perfect for the middle of that lineup.
