Brunswick Infinity Quest Review
Angular asymmetric pearl with long length and violent backend on medium-heavy oil. RG 2.52. $169.95. Video reviews inside.
[Music] CEO Ronald Hickley from Creating the Difference. Today we're going to talk about the brand new Brunswick Infinity Quest. This ball features the Evo solid reactive cover stock. Has the Infinity core shape in it. It's asymmetrical. The RG is 2.521. Differential is 0.051 and the mass bias is 0.010. So, medium RG, high differential, medium mass bias, strong core. The factory surface is 500, 1,500 grit with crown
factory compound on top of it that scans right at 5,000 grit. The hardness is 73. The absorption rate is fast. This ball is laid out 60x 4 1/2x 30. And we're going to see what the Infinity Quest is all about right now. White, pink, blue, very vibrant. The first shot doesn't count,
but the second shot does. I need y'all to do me a favor. I need you to drop a comment that tells me if you like white and bowling balls or not. There's a lot of bowling balls that have white in them now. So, let me know yes, we like white and bowling balls or no, we don't like white and bowling balls. And if you do that, we're going to pick one of you guys at random to win a six-pack of True Cut sanding pads. I got about 6 in of flare out of this bowling ball
at 051, which is a lot. Lot of flare. Who wants a free six-pack? Super easy to get it. Just leave us a comment. Do you like white or do you not like white? I will tell you personally, some of my favorite balls have had white in them. Uh there's a ball I designed a long, long time ago called the chalk. That ball had white in it. I like that ball a lot. There's a vibe ball that I like too. The Arctic Vibe has white in. I
like that ball a lot too. Which by the way, uh one of the other YouTubers, you know, the hype, he was saying some stuff about how he liked the bubble gum vibe, right? And we had a conversation and I told him I like the Arctic vibe. So, I kind of challenged him to bring the bubble gum and I'll bring the Arctic and we can have a little showdown if he's interested. So, he looking at his schedule. We going to get that on a schedule. But, if you guys are interested in seeing a little friendly competition between two YouTubers, let us know in the comments, too.
It seems continuous to me. The ball has that continuous shape to it so far. Yeah. So, it it definitely it's continuous, bro. Not angular. Continuous. We're going to move left. Going to move left. Get into the more friction. Take my hand out of it. See what that does. I mean, it's going to be a versatile
piece, man. Like, cuz it's smooth but continuous. So when I say smooth, I mean the shape is rounded. When I say continuous, I mean once it starts to go, it keeps going. Now that shot was interesting, right? Because I got it about two boards left, which means it hit more friction earlier because it's continuous. It made the move a little earlier, but it kept going, so I almost shook. So, that's a
benefit of a continuous ball. Let's go uh let's go back right. Uh slow it down a little bit, get around it, and just see if it keeps that shape. It does. That's good. It just adds to the versatility of the piece, right? So, I feel like overall this ball is probably going to fit a lot of people. Um because this shape, no matter where
you play at, it keeps going once it starts. That's a really good sign for a really good ball. Um playing out in the friction, same shape. Playing more in the oil, same shape. Playing the in between the two, same shape. The shape's not changing. So that's a really good positive sign for me. I am super curious to see how that ball would compare to this ball because I like this ball, too. And I feel it's kind of got the same kind of hook. But this is not this is not a uh
storm video. It's a brother video. So, we're going to stick to the Infinity Quest. But I will say that this ball may have to go headtohead with that ball cuz this ball's good and that ball's good. And we like seeing good balls compete against each other. So, if y'all think I should do that, right? Kind of a battle of Brunswick and Storm, say something about that, too. Both those balls happen to be close in color, too. So that just kind of adds to the allure or whatever. But if you want to see both those balls in competition, drop us a comment. Let's
stick to the Infinity Quest for right now. Big wheel setting it down on 30 board. Getting it to three board. Watching her come back. Got that one in still. Same thing though, right? There's more oil as you leave it in the oil longer, but it still makes that move and keeps going. So, can still strike with it.
I like this one. It does the right thing. Lots of styles of play are going to be able to use this. Lots of different ball speeds. We're going to knock the surface off of it, uh, for sure. But this one looks pretty solid. And I'm not talking about the cover stock. Yeah. Yeah. Has the right shape. Don't sleep on this one.
All right. We got the Crown Factory compound off of it. But she sure does roll pretty good with it on there right now. I'm going to throw one more time. One more time. Hey, look man, PY, I know like you like to do a lot of stuff with the with the YouTube and the challenging, man. Like I want to see you come to the CTD education center. I want to do a little challenge with you. Now, you're a better bowler than me by far. There's no
question about that. But I feel like I might have a I might have something that may be of uh that may be worth it to make it a little more evenly matched. So, if you're interested, you let me know. You know, you got to get a hold of us. Let us know. Let's knock the surface off this bowling ball and see what it does. All right, Crown Factory Compounds off 4,000 grit is now the new scan. Let's see what it does now. I didn't want to make it too aggressive. It was going pretty good. I'm move right.
Yeah, bro. Yeah, bro. I mean, I'm in all the oil. I'm in the maximum amount of oil and it just I mean, it just goes like it makes a move. It keeps going. I like that a lot. I like that a lot. A lot. Yeah. A little bit.

Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
Testing revealed that the Brunswick Infinity Quest demonstrates significant layout sensitivity, with drilling configuration playing a critical role in overall performance. Independent reviewers found that the standard layouts produced inconsistent ball motion on both house and sport patterns—the ball either over-skidded or failed to enter a strong roll phase. However, when drilled with alternative specifications (45x4½x40 versus the original 60x5x30), the reactive pearl coverstock showed markedly improved midlane pickup and pin-driving authority. On the house shot, the stronger layout exhibited better lane reading with more consistent tumbling action through the pins, while the original configuration pushed the breakpoint with less aggressive motion. The asymmetric core’s responsiveness to layout changes suggests that bowlers considering this ball should prioritize consulting drilling recommendations rather than assuming one configuration will suit their game.
On sport patterns, the Infinity Quest’s out-of-box polish provided excessive skid length, requiring either surface adjustments or aggressive hand position changes to stay in play. Testing showed that adding surface to the stronger layout created a more balanced ball reaction with defined hook phases and better pocket entry. The medium-heavy oil design proved versatile enough to handle varying conditions once the drilling matched the bowler’s style, though observers noted the 45x4½x40 layout provided more predictable midlane read and earlier length control than traditional pin placements. One notable finding: the reactive pearl coverstock responded well to surface adjustments, allowing testers to fine-tune reaction from aggressive roll to controlled skid without losing overall motion definition.
Who Is This Ball For?
The Brunswick Infinity Quest is best suited for experienced bowlers who are willing to experiment with layout options and understand how drilling angles affect ball dynamics. This is not a grab-and-throw package; success requires either consulting with a knowledgeable pro shop operator about custom layouts or being prepared to try multiple configurations. Bowlers with moderate to high rev rates and those who prefer seeing distinct midlane motion will find the stronger drilling options rewarding, particularly in medium to heavy oil conditions where the asymmetric core can display its design intent.
This ball also appeals to players who bowl both house shots and sport patterns and want a single coverstock to handle both through surface adjustments. The reactive pearl construction proves forgiving enough for intermediate players once the right layout is found, but the learning curve—combined with the ball’s sensitivity to drilling configuration—makes it less ideal for beginners or bowlers seeking an out-of-box solution. At $169.95, the Infinity Quest represents solid value for committed players willing to invest time in optimization.

The Infinity Quest looks as good as it does on the lanes as it does on the shelf. With the HK22C- Evo Solid cover its proven you don’t need to sacrifice looks for performance. This shiny solid offers more length with a faster response off the friction given you more angular motion than you may be used to.
I haven't gotten it drilled yet, but I'm going to get it drilled ao I can practice with it and get ready for my tournament next month.

BALL SPECS Ball Weight: 15 lbs DRILL PATTERN Ball: 55 x 5.25 x 55 BOWLER STYLE Rev Rate: 375 rpms Ball Speed:17.5 mph off hand PAP/Track: 4 5/8 over 3/4 up SURFACE PREP Grit: 4000 Grit BALL REACTION Length: Backend Back End: Hard Arc COMMENTS: The Infinity Quest is a ball the bridges the gap between the really responsive pearl balls and slower responding solids. This ball has a unique motion and with the proper surface it is very versatile. The Infinity Quest allows me to start to move left and go around the lane once significant carry down has started. If pearl bowling balls are too responsive and late but solid balls are too early and too slow the Infinity Quest is the perfect ball to fill the gap.
