Performance Analysis

Performance Analysis

The Brunswick Quantum EVO Response showcases Brunswick’s high-performance engineering through its QCS-24 asymmetric core paired with the Evolution Pearl reactive coverstock. With an RG of 2.51 and differential of .053, plus a substantial mass bias of .024, this ball creates significant track flare and angular motion downlane. The 1500 grit polished surface allows the ball to clear the fronts cleanly while storing energy for a powerful backend reaction on medium-heavy oil conditions.

The Evolution Pearl coverstock technology provides the right balance of length and aggression, making this ball particularly effective when bowlers need to create angle through the pins. The 5-6 inch flare potential maximizes pin carry by presenting fresh coverstock to the lane throughout the ball’s roll. However, the pearl reactive formula may limit its effectiveness on true heavy oil conditions where a solid coverstock might be more appropriate. Despite being discontinued, the Quantum EVO Response can often be found at attractive prices on the secondary market, making it a worthwhile consideration for advanced bowlers who understand when and how to deploy its aggressive characteristics.

If you were a fan of EVo pearl you will love the EVO Response. Same strong core on same strong cover with HK-22. The Evo Response will be just a little strong with more pop on the backend compared to the Evo Pearl.

I was thrilled to hear a new EVO Pearl was coming out. The first EVO Pearl was the best asymmetric pearl on the market. Now with HK-22 the Quantum EVO Response will be in my bag for league and tournaments.

I love this ball so much! I was a huge fan of the Evo pearl, and this follow up Evo response is a great successor. It’s a tad smoother than the original, but definitely does not lack in hitting power and pop. The greatest part about the Evo line is that they are only balls with Dynamicore 2.

If you're a fan of the Quantum line (like I am), don't wait any longer and get yourself an Evo Response. The HK22 coverstock added to an already great line of balls, is incredible! It rolls a little earlier than the Evo Pearl, but is very versatile and predictable. Get 1 today!

This ball read the lane beautifully and is very forgiving. It absolutely demolishes the pocket. When everyone else is changing balls due to lane breakdown I just move my feet. Bowled all three games with same ball and every bowler on the lane bowled very similar lines. Love this ball
