Performance Analysis
The Radical Rattler Big Bite features the Radical Rattler Symmetric Core paired with the S.H.A.R.P Hybrid Reactive coverstock, creating a mid-performance ball designed for controllable motion. With an RG of 2.48 and a modest differential of .035, this ball provides good length through the heads while offering a smooth, predictable backend reaction that won’t surprise bowlers with over/under reactions. The 3000 grit factory finish allows the ball to read the lane appropriately on dry to medium oil conditions without being too aggressive.
As part of Radical’s Reliable Line, the Big Bite lives up to its positioning as a dependable option for league bowlers and those developing their games. The hybrid reactive coverstock provides enough traction to handle medium oil while still being clean enough for drier conditions, making it a versatile piece for varying lane conditions. The 3-4 inch flare potential, while modest, provides sufficient track flare for most recreational bowlers without creating unpredictable motion down lane.

Great step up from the NU. This will be a great benchmark ball and will be great on the fresh. I found the Big Bite a few boards stronger than the NU and still continuous through the pins. It will run over the 8 or 9 (in my case). It really reminds me of a stronger Bonus.
Rattler Big Bite I’m a left handed bowler. My ball speed is around 14.5 mph. My Rev rate is around 275 rpms. I recently punched up this ball. My layout choice is all purpose layout. With this layout I have a good amount of flare. And I needed a layout that would work in different bowling centers with different lane surfaces. With this layout and factory surface it allows the ball. To pick up a little sooner with a stronger hook phase. Comparing with the NU rattler and the original rattler. It starts it hook phase sooner that the original rattler an has bigger hook than the NU rattler. I think it is a great addition to the Radical bowling technologies family. Thanks, Robert Way
I drilled the Rattler Big Bite 4.25" x 70 to be a controllable ball for use on many different sport patterns. The Rattler Big Bite features the S.H.A.R.P. hybrid cover and proven rattler core, giving you more traction in oil than the Deadly Rattler, and more backend than the original Rattler. I have used the Rattler Big Bite on Cheetah, Viper, Autobahn, Harry Smith oil patterns, and found success on all of them. The Rattler Big Bite is super controllable, a medium hooking ball that should slot right into your benchmark symmetric hybrid spot in your bag. This is a must have for any serious sport shot tournament bowler, or for anyone looking to step up from entry level balls to more performance. Strong bench mark performance thanks to the popular rattler core wrapped in the SHARP Hybrid cover that was used in the Incognito line. This ball lets me see exactly how the lanes are playing. Compared to the Deadly Rattler you will see a stronger mid-lane motion and more overall hook. This ball is exactly what I love to see in a benchmark ball, very smooth and controllable
