This ball performed just as expected. Once the lanes started to dry up, I broke it out and continued to throw straight up the 10 board. I did exactly what I wanted it to do. Later in the day, I moved left and played angle, it read the lanes and finished strong through the pins. No surface just straight out of the box. Some people may need to add surface and that is fine, but for me it works as advertised.
Bowler specs: Right handed (one hand bowler) Speed: 18 mph Rev rate: 470 The new Swag Hybrid will give you a true bang for your buck! This ball has that perfect balance of mid lane read and length. This ball gave me a very simple and easy to control reaction. The Craze Hybrid loved the straighter angles with my style of bowling. If I wanted to bend the lane with this ball, it allowed me to as well. You can stand left and you can stand right with this ball - it is a versatile piece! This ball will definitely turn heads.

This ball does exactly what it needs to do! It fits right in the middle of the Craze Pearl and the Craze Solid. This gives you the best of both worlds. The Craze Hybrid is a stand out, not only for its solid white color, but also because of its motion! This ball easily gets through the front and it reads the mids very well without getting into a roll too early. The back end motion is simply great. It reads the friction without over reacting which allows you to have that consistent read by knowing what this ball is going to do every time. The energy retention is great and the continuation through the pins is something to be noted! This ball will be a great staple in bags across the nation! Did I mention the price is crazy? Price for performance is unreal! Order yours today!

This ball is very adaptable, and all-around ball that is very comfortable and can handle most lane conditions. My Craze Hybrid is drilled 50x 4 1/2 x55. Once you use this ball you cant believe the quality and control you get for the price point.
This ball may never see a house shot is doesn’t like. That’s not just hyperbole, it’s a statement on how good this ball seems to be. The Rage Hybrid cover on the proven and reliable Craze core makes this ball seem electric on the lanes. The Craze exhibits good length, smooth controllable arc and great hitting power for a medium-light oil ball. The comparisons to Motiv Venom Shock are not misplaced, as this ball displays very similar characteristics from ball motion to hitting power. Ball is easy to get lined up with rapidly and makes adjustments a breeze as it doesn’t overreact to changing conditions. The all white cover is a definite eye turner as well. This is a high performance ball at an entry level price. No hesitation needed.

Greetings, I have the privilege of representing Swag. Previously I had put the same layout on the pearl and the solid. So I went with something a little different here on the hybrid. I put the cg closer to in palm but still keep the pin above the bridge. The goal was to tame it a bit on the backend based on the previous iterations. Well this one is a perfect blend. It gives you the defined turn of the pearl with the steady grab of the solid. The purpose for mine will be later blocks but i certainly see the versatility in this ball. I strongly believe a stronger drilling would make this the 1st ball I grab. But who knows there will be those conditions it will call for that. In any case my overall reaction is if you haven't gotten a Craze this is the one to get. For strokers the cover will be clean enough to play up the boards with a kick at the end. So no loss in power in the pocket. For crankers it glides through the heads and the turn is defined but not hockey stick to where it will take out the corner if you are not careful. Again no loss of power which keeps the pins low which means better carry! Don't you want to put that Swag in your bag?
The Swag Craze Hybrid is one of the most adaptable and versatile bowling balls I’ve thrown, making it an excellent all-around piece for nearly any condition. It feels very comfortable in the hand and inspires confidence right from the first shot. My Craze Hybrid is drilled 50 x 4 1/2 x 55, and the reaction I get is incredibly smooth yet powerful. The ball reads the lane consistently, offering great mid-lane control with plenty of backend continuation. What stands out most is its ability to handle a wide range of lane conditions without ever feeling over or under-reactive. Once you use this ball, you can’t believe the level of quality and control you’re getting at such a competitive price point. It delivers the performance of a high-end piece while staying accessible to league and competitive bowlers alike. The Craze Hybrid is a reliable benchmark ball that belongs in every bag.

The Swag Craze Hybrid is phenomenal. At any price point it is a genuine benchmark ball, but at an entry level price point it is AMAZING!!! The ball is so versatile. Mine is drilled at 60 x 5 1/2 x 60, and it give me the nice controllable shape that I look for on the fresh, but allows me to make some hand adjustments to really get it to turn up if I need, or scale back as the lanes start to transition. This ball is really a house shot killer. If you are just looking to get a ball for your beer and buddies league, or if you are in a highly competitive league, this ball fits. Get one, put it in your bag and go win some brackets to get yourself another one. This ball belongs on the rack, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I got mine drilled at 60x5x45 and to be honest did not know what to expect. The ball is clean, smooth off the hand, and for me is great on the transition. I am extremely impressed and thought I would only need it on the burn. I was wrong. It's now in my bag and becoming one of my favorites. For the price, give this bad boy a try. I promise you will be impressed.
The Craze Hybrid is the perfect compliment to the Craze Solid and pearl. It provides excellent control over the pocket and provides a very smooth and predictable shape into the pocket.
For this to be a low end ball, this ball is just unbelievable. It can be used on fresh and the break down. I never leave the house to go bowling without this ball in my bag. I highly recommend this ball.
I've been throwing this Ball now for a little more than a month...!!! I Really like how predictable and controlled this ball is overall! Seems like even on the heavier volumes of oil, the Craze Hybrid still has a great look...!!
4.5/5.......
~Lowk
This ball will get you through transition and continue to punish the pins!!! It's strong enough to get in to the light oil and stay strong into the backend!!
The Craze Hybrid is a smart choice for bowlers who want one ball they can trust in many situations. It doesn’t try to dominate with super harsh angles; it works with consistency, control, and solid backend reaction. If your current bag is lacking a “bridge” between your smoother/pure reactive balls and your heavy oil “monster” pieces, this could be that bridge.
This ball has completely changed my mind about polished hybrids, super angular for me, works well moving left and keeping my speed up. HOUSE SHOT KILLA

Energy saver with smooth shape. I drilled this ball pin down to store energy and have a lighter backend reaction and it’s great. I am able to play straighter angles and still hit the pocket with power. Love the white color and black logo! This is a great ball to have for transition or lighter oil patterns or game 2/3 in league. Fits well with the other Craze balls in the line.
The Swag Craze Hybrid 15lb bowling ball is a standout choice for bowlers looking for a reliable and smooth-performing piece on medium to heavy oil conditions. Right from the first throw, this ball shows off its ability to stay clean through the heads, gliding effortlessly without early hook or burnout. That clean motion up front sets the stage for a powerful yet controlled backend reaction. When it hits the break point, the Craze Hybrid comes off super smooth—no sudden jerks or unpredictable turns, just a consistent and confident move toward the pocket.
The hybrid coverstock blends the best of both worlds, offering the length of a pearl with the traction of a solid. This makes it versatile for different lane conditions and styles of play. Whether you're a stroker or a tweener, the ball reads the midlane well and finishes strong without overreacting. The core design adds to its stability, helping maintain energy through the pins for solid carry and fewer corner leaves.
Overall, the Swag Craze Hybrid 15lb is a dependable ball that delivers performance and control. It’s ideal for bowlers who want a clean look up front and a smooth, readable motion off the spot. A great addition to any arsenal.
If you are looking for a value this is it. This ball offers the performance of a high end ball for a value price. No need to spend 200+. The hybrid cover gives all the length with the traction of a solid. The symmetrical core makes a smooth predictable track to the pocket. This ball is a standout offering great shape and value at its price point.
I bought this ball to compliant the craze solid. Its drilled 65x4.25x45 When I originally thru this ball out of box surface I was surprised how much of a fast response time to friction it had. I quickly realized I had to go left quicker than I expected. I would use this ball more when the lanes transition and developed early friction. I decided to try and remove some of the shine off the ball. Wow! I could not believe the difference it made. It instantly became much more controllable for me on the fresh.
I decided to try it on a sport shot. The pattern was 44' with 33 mills of oil. This ball really showed what it can do. It allowed me to play multiple angles to the pocket. It was very smooth and controllable to the pocket. This ball along with the craze solid goes to every tournament i bowl.

Greetings, I have the privilege of representing Swag. Full disclosure I am a big fan of hybrids. I moved the pin above my bridge instead of the 3 x 3/8 x 25 layout I put on the pearl version. The idea was to utilize this for higher friction lanes. It still has the length the pearl gave me but instead of the sharp left its more controllable. What I have also noticed is it gives you what you give it. Meaning, if you give it more revs it will respond accordingly. Which makes it super versatile and doesn’t sacrifice hitting power for it. It drives through the pins. This is a great option for someone looking for their 1st league ball, for it is. I drilled mine for drier lanes but I still find it deceptively strong. That should be from that out of box 1500 grit sand then factory polish. Another solid (no pun) from Swag to put in your bag!
Dante (D-Nice) Harvey Nov 24, 2025
As Swag Staffer, I was excited when this ball came out. This ball is a beast! The way it floats down the lane and destroys every pin standing! Its unfair to have something this good. VERY versatile and predictable as well. You get way more out of this ball than what you paid for and that's saying something!
This ball can handle every situation you have. Fresh oil no oil no problem!! You won't regret it!!
Drilled 40 X 4.5 X 30
Having thrown both the Craze Solid and Craze Pearl, I was excited to get the Craze Hybrid. I took the cover to 2k and use when the lanes get tricky and not see the front but still read and recover on the back end. The Craze Hybrid also adapts well when you have to open up your angles. Also the coverstock cleans up well so don't be afraid of the dirt.
Leon Neubauer Jan 3, 2026
PAP - 3 3/4” right, 1/2” up; DAS - 50 x 3 1/4 x 30
I threw it on a used typical house shot, medium/light oil. I’m more speed dominant, throwing about 15.5mph, with a medium rev rate. The finish was out-of-box. I typically play down-and-in, targeting between 5 and 15, depending on lane condition.
I also threw the Fusion Hybrid (50 x 4 x 30) to compare reactions.
They both covered the same amount of area, while the Craze read a bit earlier, possibly due to the shorter pin placement. When I played further inside, the Craze didn’t read as early, gave me more skid, and then moderately turned on the backend. The Craze offered smooth, predictable reaction (nothing sharp), and for me would be under the Black Dragon (Solid and Pearl), and Fusion Solid (both out-of-box finish), and above the Apex Solid.
The SWAG Craze Hybrid stands out as a ball that blends skid, midlane response, and backend motion into a reliable overall shape. Not to mention the white color pour always grabs attention. The Swag Rage Hybrid coverstock gives you more midlane traction than a pearl without the early bite of a solid — making it particularly effective on medium to medium-heavy conditions where you want earlier read without losing motion through the pins.
You'll notice how the ball clears the fronts with enough energy conservation to let you play inside lines confidently. When the ball hits the midlane, it begins to shape more noticeably than a pearl but without the abrupt hook of stronger solids. This allows for alot of forgiveness on those pesky target misses.
The SWAG Craze core design complements the cover exceptionally well, promoting a smooth arc with a consistent breakpoint. That means you can confidently open your angles or tighten your line without worrying about the ball reacting too early or burning up before the pins. Rev-dominant bowlers will find comfort in the way the ball holds its roll through the backend, while high-speed players will appreciate its ability to read friction progressively rather than all at once.
Bottom line: The SWAG Craze Hybrid is a versatile, performance-oriented bowling ball that excels when you need a balanced reaction — not too early, not too late, and with enough continuation to drive through the pocket solidly. It’s an excellent choice for league competitors and serious bowlers who want a dependable hybrid that bridges the gap between pearl and solid reactions as lanes transition.
Bowler Stats:
RH, 340ish Revs, 16.5 mph ball speed avg.
I am an average left handed tweener. My PAP is 4" over and 3/4" up. I got this ball looking for a bit of length and clean through the heads. A lot of people recommend hitting the surface with a worn out 2000 grit but I chose to leave mine out of box. It has taken a few weeks to break the surface but watching the transformation during those weeks has been good to see. It is still clean through the fronts but the reaction on the back end has increased by 5 or more boards. So if you are looking for a short pattern or scorched pattern ball this is definitely a great choice. I would give this ball a 6/5 as a choice for tougher conditions.
I’ve come to really love this ball. My initial thoughts were that it was just too clean, but I’m now realizing with a nice smooth forward release, this ball picks up surprisingly well in the midlane and is very continuous off the end of the pattern. This is definitely a ball that will work for you if you let it. Some added axis will give you more shape downlane but standing 25 in early transition this ball DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. I would give the Craze Hybrid a 10/10, it’s definitely a conversation starter because it just runs over the rack, not to mention the cream color looks awesome going down the lane. I would recommend for track players and high rev bowlers who tend to get forced left early in league.

Swags Craze hybrid is a great ball. Whether it's fresh oil , or your bowling on the burnt. This ball is very durable. It can be played on every part of the lane. It's great on the fresh or it can be a great transition piece. This is definitely a staple to every bowlers bag.
This is one of Swags newest releases. The Craze hybrid. This ball is a must have and a staple in every Bowlers bag and a must have in your arsenal. This ball can be used on a fresh oil patter with great backend motion. Or when the lanes start to break down, this ball is a fantastic transition piece. It reads the mid lane exceptionally well with the forward roll and backend movement. This is a must have in every Bowlers bag. I use it on the fresh, then when the lanes start to break down, I stick with this ball and just mive alittle. No need to find another ball when your fighting transition. This ball will do it all.
Cory G. – SWAG Staff Member I am a right-handed, thumb-in bowler with a PAP of 5 5/8" over and 1" up, drilled at 60 × 5 × 30. The Craze Hybrid truly surprised me and easily earns my vote as SWAG’s Ball of the Year for 2025. This ball excels across a wide range of conditions, from typical league patterns to tougher tournament environments. It gives me confidence in any situation and has the versatility to bail me out of a rough game or even an entire set. The Craze Hybrid is smooth through the front, reads the mid-lane cleanly without being overly aggressive, and delivers a surprisingly strong, continuous backend motion. It drives through the pins with excellent continuation—splitting the 8–9 and clearing the deck with ease. The all-white color is also extremely eye-catching and gives great visual feedback as the ball travels down the lane. In my opinion, the Craze Hybrid is a must-have in everyone’s bag.
Dante Harvey Jan 20, 2026
The Craze Hybrid is one of the most versatile and dependable balls in my arsenal. It excels when the lanes start to transition, giving me a clean look through the fronts while still reading the midlane consistently. What makes the Craze Hybrid stand out is how balanced the motion is—it doesn’t jump off the spot, but it never feels weak or lazy either. The backend is crazy strong, controlled, and continuous, which makes it easy to stay lined up and keep carry high as conditions change. For my style, it bridges the gap perfectly between stronger solids and cleaner pearls. When I need predictability, control, and scoring consistency, the Craze Hybrid is always a go-to choice and is a must in everyone's bag!
SWAG Craze Hybrid 15 LBS
I’m a right-handed bowler with a PAP of 4 3/4” over and 1/2” up and a rev rate around 365, with my Craze Hybrid drilled at 55 × 4 1/2 × 35. I’ve got mine at 15 pounds and took the surface down to 2000, which really helped it read the lane a little earlier while still keeping that smooth, strong motion downlane.
From the first few shots, this ball instantly stood out. It matches up on just about anything—league conditions, challenge patterns, or tougher tournament shots. The Craze Hybrid gives me confidence to stay aggressive knowing it can dig me out of a tough game or even save a whole set.
With the 2000 surface, it clears the fronts cleanly, reads the mids with a nice controlled motion, and then makes a strong, continuous move through the pins. It drives hard without overreacting, and the carry is super consistent—even on light hits. The all-white coverstock really pops going down the lane and gives great visual feedback on every shot.
This ball has quickly become a staple in my bag. With the surface tweak, it fits perfectly between my stronger and cleaner pieces. The Craze Hybrid just flat-out performs—I can’t imagine not having it with me.

This ball at $120 IS A STEAL! That $120 price mark vs what you get out of this ball is ridiculous. Swag really did well with this one. One of the most versatile balls I’ve ever thrown. Can be used on fresh, transition, or even burnt up lanes. When this ball gets to the pins, it gets THROUGH them! I recorded my very first shot with this ball, and my face after watching it get through the pins said all you needed to know!
Louisiana, United States
Let me say this first… the SWAG Craze Hybrid should come with a warning label:
⚠️ May cause excessive strikes, jealousy from teammates, and sudden confidence issues for your opponents.
From the rack, this ball already looks like it knows it’s better than the rest. The colors pop, the shine hits just right, and it sits there like,
“Yeah… I’m about to embarrass somebody tonight.”
And it does.
Once you throw it, the Craze Hybrid goes to work like it’s on commission.
On the lanes, it’s ridiculous:
The SWAG Craze Hybrid is a very versatile and reliable piece in my arsenal. You can throw this on the fresh and chase it inside with ease. Being a hybrid, this ball will give you the key miss room you need when you throw it in the friction and when you tug it inside. The controllable and predictable motion downlane will help you navigate the lanes and shoot higher scores. The Craze Hybrid is a staple in my arsenal and should be in yours.
I drilled this ball up with 2inch pin to get urethane look for nationals an this is now one of my go to ball on patterns it’s sooo smooth an early
Dustin Walker Feb 16, 2026
This swag ball is easily one of the best balls ever made at an entry level price point. This ball is not only great looking but has a versatile shape that can fit almost anyone's game. I liked throwing it with the polish knocked off a bit so that way I could control the shape because I dont have very high ball speed. I preferred to use this ball game 2 when the lanes started to transition. I cannot stress enough how strong of a backend motion this ball has. All you have to do is touch the friction and this ball will make the hill no problem. Don ourself a favor and pick one up today!
Craze Hybrid – In My Own Words
The Craze Hybrid is one of those balls that just flat out makes sense in my bag.
This isn’t the strongest piece I own… and it’s not supposed to be. What it is? Reliable.
When the lanes start breaking down and the big stuff is reading too early, I grab the Craze Hybrid and let it do what it does best — get down the lane clean and make that smooth, controlled move off the spot.
It doesn’t overreact.
It doesn’t jump sideways.
It just reads it and rolls.
That’s what I love about it.
It gives me that blend when the pattern gets tricky. If I need to move left and create a little angle but still control the pocket, this is the ball. It lets me stay aggressive without feeling like I’m guessing.
And the hit? Sneaky strong.
It keeps the pins low, and when I get it to the friction, it finishes through the deck instead of rolling out.
For me, the Craze Hybrid is that transition piece. The one that keeps me in rhythm. The one that helps me stay ahead of the lane instead of chasing it.
Every bag needs that ball you trust when things get weird.
Hunter Hargrove Feb 16, 2026
Second favorite ball of the relaunch of Swag. This ball is very controllable and reads the lanes better than any Hybrid I’ve ever thrown. Despite having to clean it constantly this is a ball I would highly recommend you add to your bag. As a no thumber I rely on feel and usually the Craze Hybrid is a ball I can trust wherever I am at.
The Swag Craze Hybrid is very versatile and smooth controllable on the backend! I am able to play straight up the boards or swing the ball at any angle! My Layout for this ball is 50x3x25
Great ball for when the shot breaks down. Good ball for medium to light oil conditions. My go to when transition gets squirrelly.
Great ball for when shot starts to transition or breaks down. Ball get plenty of of length with good recovery. Great for the entry level bowler or someone looking for a ball when the lanes begin to dry
After talking with other staff members about this ball, I decided to get one a little late. I was looking for a ball to do a short pin drilling on, and this ball turned out to be perfect for it. My Craze Hybrid is 70 x 1.75" x 45. This short pin layout allows me to control the backend and move right. I can play the edge of the oil line without the fear of missing right and the ball taking off. When I do miss right, the worse thing I leave is a 4 pin instead of going through the face. This ball has been great for me so far and can't wait to throw it on some short pattern in the near future.
Gary Hickmon Feb 22, 2026
The Craze Hybrid is a reliable option when I am struggling to find a shot. I am right-handed with 425 revs and 18 mph (off hand) and I have mine drilled 4 ½ x 30, allowing it to read the midlane effectively while providing a strong yet controllable backend motion. This layout gives me the confidence to stay aggressive without sacrificing predictability downlane. No matter what bowling center or lane condition, The Craze Hybrid goes everywhere with me because of its versatility and dependable shape. While the white coverstock gets dirty with lane grime it cleans up easily and maintains its appearance with minimal effort. Overall, this ball delivers consistency, control, and adaptability. This is a ball that will stay with me for a long time.
Great price for $120! I was really excited and curious about this white ball! Because I had a few white bowling balls in the past that would leave marks on the ball..well this Swag Craze Hybrid you dont have to worry about it that much! The Swag Craze Hybrid is very versatile and smooth controllable on the backend! The Swag Craze Hybrid comes in at 1500 polish so it helps me to play straight up the boards or swing the ball at any angle on any house pattern or any sport pattern you can think of!!! This ball is a beast on Higher-friction houses or low friction houses! My Layout for this ball is 50x3x25. PUT SOME SWAG IN YOUR BAG!
The Swag Craze Hybrid is a lower oil ball that will allow you to get some control when the lanes are fried. I have my ball drilled fairly weak, but the ball doesn't overhook once it sees friction. If you need a ball for transition, but struggle finding a ball to conrol, this ball will work for you.
I'm a right handed bowler with 14.5 - 15.5 ball speed and 320 - 350 Rev rate. I throw 14 lbs. My average is 210. The Craze Hybrid is always in my bag when I am going to go to a house that I know to be higher friction or houses that do not put out a lot of oil. In these houses, the Craze Hybrid is the perfect ball to transition to as soon as the Craze Solid starts losing energy. In these situations the Craze Hybrid has allowed me to maintain the same line but with the extra pop on the backend allows for better pin carry when the Craze Solid just isn’t finishing anymore. The Craze Hybrid a go to ball for transition and sometimes on fresh if I need a little more backend than the Craze Solid is giving me.
