Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
The Track Criterion Hybrid combines Track’s proven Criterion MD asymmetric core with their Super Response Hybrid HK22C coverstock to create a versatile high-performance option. The 2.50 RG and .052 differential provide strong hook potential while maintaining predictable motion characteristics. The .018 mass bias adds just enough asymmetric influence to create impressive backend continuation without being overly aggressive. The hybrid coverstock formulation strikes an excellent balance between the length of pearl and the traction of solid reactive, making this ball effective across a wider range of oil patterns than many high-performance pieces. The 1500 grit polished factory finish allows the ball to clear the front part of the lane cleanly while still providing strong backend reaction when it encounters friction. At $104.95, the Criterion Hybrid delivers exceptional value in the high-performance category, offering specs and performance that typically command higher prices. The 4-5 inch flare potential indicates this ball will create strong pin action and carry, while the medium-heavy oil rating makes it versatile enough to handle most competitive lane conditions.

Track Criterion has the words "Super Response Hybrid" in the specifications. I'd say that is pretty accurate. With the HK22 and the cohesion additive this ball is very strong in the mid lane and stays strong down lane. This ball goes through the pins very well. I think this ball is a sleeper that people should not over look.
Wish it came from here though. However, I am liking this ball a lot and it's been coming in handy at a summer league I'm doing. PSO felt that a pin down layout would work best for me, and it is very controllable. Very Jamican flag themed ball, that looks awesome rolling down the lane.
Found it to be just okay with the out of box finish, hit it with a 2000 pad and it's now my preferred "ball up" when it's time to make a move out of solid or urethane on most house shots and sport patterns. Very versatile ball motion, works well, for me, whether I'm throwing straighter or a bit outside. 450+ rev rate, 14-15 mph at the pins

This was my very first bowling ball purchase, a bit pricier and more sophisticated given I am a novice whose only used house balls, but couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase. The ball and coloring are beautiful. It’s very well balanced, I purchased the 12lb and I’d consider repurchasing this ball in a heavier weight later on if I chose to size up.The ball perfectly emphasizes your action, although I wouldn’t recommend this ball to someone who’s looking to bowl straight lines. It has strong action about 3/4 down the lane into the pocket if I fully pronate in both well oiled and dryer lanes and it’s extremely consistent about it. I’m still able to knock single pins for a spare by bowling with no hook, however that’s actually more difficult with this ball. Overall I’m extremely satisfied. I would recommend this ball to those looking to add subtle or more intense action to their throw.
