Performance Analysis
The Track Cypher features Trackβs Synergy symmetric core paired with the Prime Response Pearl Reactive coverstock, creating a mid-performance ball designed for medium to heavy oil conditions. With an RG of 2.54 and differential of .047, this ball provides moderate rev potential with predictable, smooth motion through the pins. The 1500 grit polished finish allows the ball to retain energy through the front part of the lane while providing a controlled backend reaction.
The pearl reactive coverstock gives the Cypher good length characteristics, making it suitable for bowlers who need to get through the heads cleanly on medium-heavy oil patterns. The symmetric core design ensures predictable roll characteristics, making it an excellent choice for intermediate bowlers developing their games or experienced players who prefer controllable motion over aggressive hook potential. While it may not have the raw hook power needed for the heaviest oil conditions, its versatility across medium to heavy oil makes it a valuable addition to any bowlerβs arsenal.

Track did a nice job with this piece. The combination of the Synergy core and Prime response Pearl w/ HK22 cover makes for a ball that is very clean well down lane before the HK22 takes over and gives a nice change of direction through the pin deck. This ball is not overpowering, and I see it as more forward than sideways. I find some bowling balls are too sideways creating problems. This ball is not that for me. It strikes a lot and not very many splits when I make a bad shot. This is a good rolling piece. Don't miss out on this one. It's good.
