The reality by 900 Global is one of the biggest asymmetric balls I haveseen for me it is going to be a big staple in my bag when the lanes get tricky so really early on and even late into a set. being able to watch it get through the mess in the front and make it down the lane and act like nothing has happened shows that this ball will be like I have said before one of the biggest staples in my bad!!

If you know me then you know I’m a big fan of symmetrics. It’s pretty rare that I rave over a ball with an asymmetric core but this is one of them! The 900 Global Reality is not a ball that hooks in the front part of the lane and bails down lane. It cleared the fronts with ease and continued through the pins better than most others. I compared the Reality to the Rubicon in my ball review, and the Rubicon picks up a few feet earlier and has an overall more rounded motion. I’m eager to put some shine on the Reality to see how far left I can move with it. It will be a ball that comes out of the bag directly after the Rubicon, RST X1, or Proton Physix depending on which one you have.

The new hook machine from 900 Global is the all new Reality! This ball features the S84 Response Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Disturbance Asymmetric Core! This ball does come out of the box at 2000 grit which is fantastic for those heavier lane conditions!
My Reality is drilled pin over my middle finger which is about 5 inches away from my PAP with the mass bias away from my thumb! Throwing this ball in tournaments around me is I’m very impressed with how much this ball rolls throughout the whole lane! The reality doesn’t change direction as much as a UFO or Proton Physix but will roll more throughout the lane than those 2! Definitely like adding a different and really good shape for those heavier lane conditions!
Head over to your local pro shop and get yours 1/29/21 to attack those heavy oil conditions!
I have my 900 Global Reality at 40 x 4 1/4 x 35. The S84 Response Solid cover is the strongest cover to date in the 900 Global line. It sees the mid lane, but retains an astonishing amount of energy, which creates a very strong a distinguishable move towards the pocket. This gives me the option to move left, and open up the lane much easier than with most solid bowling balls. Look for my ball review video on YouTube, where I compare it to the 900 Global Aspect, I have the Reality both overall stronger, and more angular than the Aspect.

Strong defined breakpoint and continuous
This is a very strong ball. I feel this ball is as strong as a Proton Physix, UFO or the original Volatility. But, it has a different shape than all these. The Reality is a super heavy rolling ball that has a more defined breakpoint, changes direction quicker, and reacts faster to dry boards on the lane. It absolutely needs some oil to get down the lane. I felt like I could open my angles up more with the Reality than the Proton Physix and it would recover a bit more from misses to the outside. The Proton Physix and original Volitility were definitely smoother overall, but they all covered a similar number of boards. This ball is at the high end of the hook scale and would be your big hook/heavy oil ball.

The Reality is the first asymmetrical produced directly out of Utah under the Storm umbrella. Featuring the S84 Response Solid cover, finished at 2000 grit, and the Disturbance core we get the strongest solid asymmetrical to date from the 900 line.
For those familiar with the Storm and Roto lineups this ball will fit under the Proton Physix as this is a whole lot of core with a tad cleaner cover. The Reality will compliment those medium to higher volume and length patterns.

The Reality for me is by far the strongest motion I have ever seen, certainly from the 900 Global line. I bowl on a 41ft house shot with plenty of friction to the right. I normally play anywhere from 26 - 30 to start with my feet and like to see 13 - 17 at the arrows. The reality immediately forced me to get well left of 30 with my feet and 16 at the arrows was out of play, making me either go through the face or simply use its energy too quickly and it would go 2,8,10. Once I got my feet to 38 on a fresh shot and realized this ball loves to be around 20,21 board it started striking. Predictable huge motion but really wants oil. If you are a player with Higher ball speed or simply a lower rev rate and seems to need help around the corner at times, I would Highly suggest getting into a Reality by 900 Global.

I have already been able to use this ball in two different events, one on 45ft, and the other 48ft. I used the Reality all 10 games for both events combined, and it is already starting to become one of my favorites. I went pin up with 35x4x20. This ball is a strong solid asymmetrical that digs through the oil, but doesn’t burn up early leaving plenty of energy to make a move towards the pocket down lane.
The Reality is the first strong Asymmetrical Solid ball from 900 Global that is made under Storm Products. This ball doesn't disappoint. Although very similar to the Storm Proton Physix, it could be different enough to warrant having both balls. The Reality fits just below the Proton Physix for me in terms of total hook but it rolls forward a little more as well. If you are in the market for only one ball, the Reality can be a great choice if you are a 900 Global fan or prefer its colors. The S84 Response Solid Cover is very similar to Storm's NEX cover on the Proton Physix and can handle the heaviest of oils and the longest of oil patterns. Depending on how these lane characteristics are for you should be your determining factor to purchase the ball.

The Reality is the ball to have at the top of your bag. A lot of people like to compare it to the Proton Physix, but the Reality is a bit cleaner and more backend. I believe for the tournament bowler, the Reality is something you need to have for the higher volume and longer patterns.
1st try with a Global 900 ball and was not disappointed! Impressive would be an understatement if you are looking for hook. Definitely at the top of the list. Stands out with its ability to change directions and its continuation on the backend. All styles will be able to use this ball at the top of their bag.
The Reality is the first Global ball i have ever thrown and I'm happy i did. I drilled this ball 45 x 3 7/8 x 30, the S84 response cover that is found on the Volatility torque just the solid version seems to be same motion as the torque just sooner. I drill like this for lack of hand and the need to have the ball to flare and rev up strong. I compared this new release to the Proton and the Phaze 2 and that it's weaker than the Proton, but a little stronger than the Phaze 2. I ended up sanding it to 1000 to get it to hook a little bit sooner since our shot is 44 feet. Overall the Reality is a great ball to go to when the Proton is hooking too soon or too much.
Kris Mueller Jan 31, 2021
I have been on Global staff for 4 years now and this is the first Global ball I’ve thrown that’s hooks this much. I bowl on a 44ft house shot and this ball just cuts through it like no other ball I have ever thrown. Layout is 60x4-1/2x35 from what I’ve seen the reality is a little earlier and smoother then the proton.
The reality is going to be a ball your going to see everywhere!!! Smooth rolling in the mid lanes and continues through the pocket. And talk about hitting power your going to see those pins fly or sure. I drilled mine 60x.5x30 and have played up the boards and have also played inside and the ball just keeps hitting. A great ball for that bowler with not a lot of revs and wants something to really move in the oil to high rev bowlers wanting to make that shape on long patterns a must have i feel. Bowling balls that would compliment it great i feel would be the zen, or volatility torque
Chris Cmac McMillan Feb 2, 2021
The Volatility had a stronger pin and seemed to rev up earlier which isnt a problem if you are bowling on heavier volume. Immediately I saw the Reality wanted to roll forward a bit more which made it smoother/slower off of the pattern. (Atleast for me) Out of box I think the Reality will make a great ball to use on fresh, and medium patterns. With the forward rolling characteristics you will definitely be able to square up and keep your angles tight or open your angles and feed it right with no doubt of recovery.
I truly think anyone could benefit from the Reality if you’re looking for an Asym heavy oil ball for the tournament/league season.
This Reality is something else. The first solid big ball from 900 Global since switching over to Utah and it DOES NOT disappoint. I'm very pleased with what I see in my THS leagues. The Reality is very forgiving (similar to what we saw in the Flux) but gives me a couple more boards of overall hook. I also have seen since switching from Texas to Utah the cover does not lane shine as fast. I had trouble with my Flux after 9 games on some heavier patterns just get too lane shined and i'd have to put it away. This Reality doesn't has a big pair of snow tires on it. I can't wait to get out and bowl on the weekend on some of the tougher conditions with this rock. I drill mine with a dual angle of 65 x 4.5 x 40, a typical pin over bridge layout for me and my high track. I find myself being able to stay in this ball longer than the Flux and transition into a Volatility Torque with a similar layout or a strong Zen and have no problems keeping up with the lanes. This is the perfect tool I was missing in my bag from 900 Global since the merger with Storm/Roto and I'm very excited to have it now.
The 900 Global Reality is quite simply a monster for me. I have to have some oil up front for this ball to perform. I drilled mine 55x4.25.40 and it just digs in incredibly hard. I have it at box surface and I noticed I can pretty much get as far left as I want to, given that I make the proper adjustments with hand and speed. This ball absolutely doesn't miss the midlane and you can 100% count on it getting back. A big, solid, asymmetric bowling ball that will handle whatever amount of oil you throw at it. If you're looking for the strong hook monster, put this in your bag as your starter ball. I would not consider throwing this ball on anything less than medium oil volume.
If bowling has been stale lately and you seem to be out of it. Do not worry just get this ball in your bag and you will see yourself snap back to REALITY! I was missing a strong solid in my arsenal and I have it now. Me personally with a speed around 15.6mph and higher revs I usually cannot roll solids because of how strong they roll for me, but I really enjoy how smooth and clean this ball is through the fronts. Still a strong ball for me but I can play deep than ever before without the crazy snap in the backend. Extremely controllable and fun to throw!
For a very long time, I have not been able to drill many big asymmetrical bowling balls as they like to burn up so quickly on me in the fronts and conserve zero energy down lane to get the 10 out. I found that with the new 900 Global Reality, I do not have that issue on anything I bowl on. I have been able to throw this ball on house, 34ft, 44ft, and 40ft flat and find a consistent path to the pocket to increase not only my strike percentage but score as well. The ball takes amazingly to surface adjustments and has zero issue getting through the front part of the lane clean to store energy to get off the end of the pattern. This ball needs to not only be in your tournament bag but in the bag you take for house as well.
I was able to move into 4th arrow and really open up my angles. I positioned myself trying to throw the ball to the right of the three pin where the range finders would be. When I got it going to the middle of the three pin, it went light swisher; a pinch right of that went flush. I’m not very technical but the entry angle wasn’t very steep because the ball was going forward off the end of the pattern. That entry angle allowed me to carry most of the off hits. Strong balls like this also have downfalls. One downfall that I noticed is that when I got the ball to the right of the three pin too early, unlike our UFO’s and Gravity Evolves, the Reality didn’t lose enough energy to stop. Instead, it dead checked off of the dry and went through the nose. I think this ball is similar to Storm’s Proton Physix. For most players, you’ll use this ball on heavier conditions. I anticipate this ball to be really good on longer patterns when I need to keep my angles tight and towards the 1-3. The reality is one of the stronger balls in SPI’s lineup. If you’re bowling on low volume patterns or are a rev dominant player, you won’t throw this ball all the time because of its strength. For players who are speed dominant or those who bowl on heavier volume house conditions, the Reality will be good to start tournaments or league with.
I purchased this ball at a bowling shop 1hr 30 mins from my house as they had it in stock had it drilled was expecting big things and no matter what I did the ball never hooked. I traveled back to the shop I purchased it at and had the pro shop that drilled it for me watch me for 2 games amd same issue no matter where I stood no matter how much spin it would go sight. Even when I moved to 2nd arrow and throw at pocket the ball never broke off the 2nd arrow path and that when the pro shop said their wasn't something right. Unfortunately they didn't have another ball to drill and let me use to see if it was a bad seed instead they switched me to the strata ball.
Maybe one day I'll try it again but for the money and all the hype it wasn't that way for me.
This is the strongest ball I have in my bag! it is definitely used for when I need to get through the front of the lanes. When the oil is medium to heavy. I'm able to play it straight up and watch it roll to the pocket or I'm able to swing it, depending on what the lane gives me!

The Tour Engineered 900 Series all new Reality utilizes the incredibly strong S84 Response solid cover combined with the Disturbance Asymmetric core to give you the strongest ball in the 900 Global line. Yes, I believe its stronger and more versatile than the Volatility. I drilled my Reality pin down and was surprised how clean this high-performance ball was through fronts and how much energy it had down lane. I tested this ball on 44 feet typical house pattern. As a mid to low rev player, I see this ball being my first choice on heavy oil patterns. I was able to play outside five, the track area, and deep inside without any loss of ball reaction or pin carry. This is a great ball for all levels of bowlers. Review:
The 900 Global Reality offers a focused brand new core design with an aggressive coverstock. This specific design is intended to maximize control with more hook potential then its predecessor the 900 Global Volatility. This ball is definitely the hook monster you are looking for, but with a twist....the Reality will allow you to continue to open the lane up as transition occurs. At times, my Volatility would tend to "quit" and my next ball down wasn't quite enough. The Reality should fill that gap on longer and higher volume patterns.
You should expect a continuous, strong reaction throughout the lane. Also, 900 has kept the Int Diff lower on the Reality to achieve some length down lane so the ball as designed does not "hook at your feet" and "quit". This has been the wow factor of the Reality at recent Storm Matchmaker events.
As previous noted above, the Reality will work best on longer and higher volume patterns. If your desire is to stay left before and after the lanes transition this ball will not disappoint. If you want the biggest hooking ball on the market today in your bag, this is the one! Don't hesitate to try out the 900 Global Reality today.

The 900 Global Reality has a low RG value of 2.49 a high differential of 0.052 and a low intermediate differential of 0.018.
900 global came out with a new cover core combination of the S84 Response Solid Reactive and the Disturbance Asymmetric Core.
The Disturbance core was designed with a focus on a shape that will fill a space with the least amount of material, yet still yield the RG/Diff values that all bowlers need.
The S84 Response cover promotes up to 20% larger pore sizes which in turn ensures maximum traction on heavy oil. In addition, the Reality will rival the original Volatility with the S86R cover that was an asymmetric hybrid.
In the videos you will see how the cover core combination comes together with an early revving motion in the heads combined with a strong backend reaction.
In my bag the Reality will be the first out the bag for a heavy oil pattern and maybe on a fresh house shot depending on how much oil is in the mid lane. Then you can ball down to a 900 Global Zen to blend the wet/dry.
I did a ball comparison to the 900 Global Zen, Storm Proton Physix and Roto Grip Rubicon.
In comparison to the 900 Global Zen, the Zen will be a litter more smoother the mids due to having a symmetric pearl coverstock but a touch more reactive on the backend giving you an option to open up your angles.
The Storm Proton Physix drilled pin down can give an option to ball down from the Zen when the lanes become a little dryer and more cliffed.
The Roto Grip Rubicon will give you an option to use on the burn while being able to play around the same area as the other pieces.
Out of the box I loved this ball. Rolled very well. started standing normal 25 then move left as the night went on. threw 15-20 at the arrows and out to 8-10 at the break point. BUT...as the time went on, YES it got a little lane shine on it...and I like it a little better! I didn't have to move so fast as the night went on. It reacted very nice! Shot a few really nice 700's so far. We know bowling here in Michigan started back up a little bit ago. But the ball is going to stay in my bag for sure!

The Reality utilizes the S84 Response solid cover with the Disturbance asymmetric core. The cover and weight block complement each other well. The Reality was versatile during testing. The test bowlers were able to play multiple angles with the Reality on the house shot. I see the Reality as a 1b tournament ball that will be used when the Storm Proton Physix is reading the lanes too soon but the oil is heavy enough that you still need a surface ball. This is the first 900 Global ball I have ever thrown. I have a difficult time matching up with Asymmetrical balls. I am more of a down and In player with higher ball speeds and a lower rev rate (however recently I have worked on increasing the rev rate and lowering the ball speed) I was really surprised at how much this ball hooked. I really like the ball motion and how strong it is. I drilled this OOB 60 x 3 1/4 x 45. Which puts the pin above my ring finger kicked out to the right. I spend along trying to figure out how to layout this ball and I nailed this one. I left the cover OOB. Reality is smooth and predictable with a strong backend motion. It is earlier than the Proton Physix but still picks up well and does not burn up and has strong continuation through the pins. I have a hard time getting Asymmetrical getting through the pins without burning up and getting the right shape. I can move in with this ball and trust the ball will turn the corner. I have found the strong core/cover ball for the longer heavier oil patterns. This ball is a winner!

Can you call it a benchmark ball, I do. First ball out of the bag in leagues and it will show me if I need to ball down. If you can use a word like READABILITY this is the definition of this ball. Drilled with new standard pin up layout I see great skid in front with that READABILITY coming off the pattern.
Strongest ball I have that can be used entirely in one set provided you chase the oil in and depending on the volume. I have as of this review 25+ games bowled on it. No surface change needed just typical labe shine and cleaning after each use.
Being a low rev bowler at my age (58) speed matched, it's a pleasure to be able to use a high flaring ball without the DOA hits. The Reality carry percentage is high as it rolls consistently through the pin deck. The 2000 Abralon cover should take well if needed.
This a ball taylormade for all styles searching for a high flaring ball that only looks good but scores well too.

The 900 Global Reality might change your perception of what it means to be a strong asymmetric solid. S84-Response Solid (seen in pearl form on the Volatility Torque) wraps the outside with a 2000-grit sanded surface, and the unique Disturbance asymmetric core provides the motor. This ball seems to be very wonderfully balanced for the category - a strong amount of traction in oil (but not too much), defined transition through the hook phase (but not too much), good recovery downlane (but not too much). The fact that this one has seen instant and widespread adoption on the PBA Tour when big money is on the line says quite a bit! If you really like the rolly nature of the Crux series or the Proton PhysiX, this should absolutely merit your consideration!

Layout - 55 x 5 x 30
This ball is crazy strong! For me I have it between the Proton Physix and the RSTX-1, its the best of both worlds! It is cleaner thru the front like the X1 but just as much hook as the Proton Physix. This ball is best used on fresh heavier longer oil patterns! Speed dominant players - this ball is for you. This is the biggest baddest 900 Global ball, should be the earlier stronger version of the Volatility Torque. I think this ball will be thrown quite a bit on tour!

This Ball is is a beast! This ball for being a big asymmetrical dull ball gets through the fronts and has something off the spot. not like typical asyms that will hook early and roll. This ball will be great for high speed players. This is 900global newest and strongest ball and if you're a global fan you won't want to miss out on this Monster! Get to your local pro shop to go get this piece!
introducing the brand new hook monster from 900 Global...the Reality! The all new Reality features the S84 Response Solid Reactive Coverstock wrapped around the Disturbance Asymmetric Core!
The Reality is a great ball for heavier lane conditions and, compared to my UFO or Proton PhysiX doesn't change directions as drastically as those 2 but, has more roll throughout the lane than those 2 as well. The Reality definitely has a different shape for the heavier lane conditions and, will fit very well with the UFO and, Proton PhysiX! It is a must in your arsenal!
Recently, news came out that Storm Bowling Products purchased 900 Global and that also meant the staff players could throw 900 Global equipment. When this news broke, I was excited to add more equipment to the arsenal and immediately wanted to drill a Reality. The Reality is found in the 900 series and is considered the “heavy oil” ball in the Global line up. With numbers coming in at 2.49 (RG) and differential of .052, the Reality is a perfect ball for longer / heavier volume patterns.
I’ve drilled one Reality so far and really like it. I mapped it out as 4 ½ x 4 x 75 and left the surface alone (2000) and it rolls great. I’ve had the most success when my angles have been in front of me and I can get my hand up the back to tumble it, which has worked on so many different pattens. I also like using the Reality as the first ball out of my bag to see what the pattern looks like. I also know that there’s a ton of balls that compliment the Reality such as: Hyroad Max, Idol Synergy, Axiom.
If you need a big, asymmetrical ball to tackle multiple patterns, the Reality should be the next ball you drill!

900 Global's new 900 series release is called the REALITY. It features a powerful asymmetric core with the new S84 Response cover. Response is a great name for this type of cover. This ball digs in immediately and keeps coming.
I made two attempts at using the REALITY in my normal league, but I didn't want to play 5th arrow on the fresh so I put it away and waited. There's a pattern league that bowls in the middle of the week and I used their open pair so I could throw the Reality on the 45 ft PBA Dragon Pattern. I spent a little time watching the league bowlers get the ball right and take 3 off the right. I threw my first couple shots from in trying to trap it from getting right of 12 down-lane. Then a funny thing happened, the ball went high. I got the next one out to 9/10 and struck. I was surprised to say the least. I decided to see if I could play straighter close to the Out of bounds area. I had to up my speed a little but It was fantastic. I had miss room on both sides thanks to the strength of the ball when I got it right and the length of the pattern when I missed in.
Once I had a chance to see the strength of this core on a higher volume pattern I decided to adjust the cover so I could try using the Reality again in league. I took the cover up to 5000 and took it back out game 1 of league that week. The ball would clear the front but that core strength still kept the ball hooking. I was able to use the ball the first two games and actually shot my high series of the year. The ball keeps its rounder, controlled motion off the back but still continues and hits like it did with the duller cover. The 5k cover just allows the ball to clear the fronts where there isn't as much oil.

I had the pleasure of throwing this ball for the first time on the PBA 48 foot Shark pattern. This ball definitely does not disappoint. Its very clean but still early enough to grab the lane in heavier volumes. This ball is definitely the strongest ball in my bag and even on the shark, I had some miss room to the right as the ball stores enough energy to make it back to the pocket but still held when I tugged it. On a THS this ball is just too strong for me at the centers I bowl at but will definitely be in my bag for longer patterns and shorter heavier volumes.

The Reality is the newest, high end Asym., from 900 Global. This ball comes from the factory with a 2000 grit finish on the S84 Response Solid cover. When I drilled this ball I was looking for a bigger Asym. where I could really keep my angles more in front of me. While I do have some balls that do this, they really labor once I have to open the lane up a bit…NOT THIS BAD BOY! I was pleasantly surprised that I could keep opening my angles and this ball would keep coming back! The Reality is quite a bit more versatile than what I first imagined. like most asyms for me, it did reach a point that I needed to ball down to get more shape down lane. This balls is very useful on the fresh as it blends the wet/dry well. It also takes to surface changes well, I hit this one with a 3000 pad just to smooth it a touch. The Global balls out of Utah have been Outstanding! I suggest you give them a try!

Reality..... the first EVER global ball I have throw and man it didn’t disappoint!! This baby is a hook monster on my first shot I kinda guessed where I might need to stand according to my other big hook balls. I had to move about 5 boards left from where I started.
I put the Reality to the test VS the Storm Proton Physixs ( one of my favourite recent releases).
When comparing the two I found the reality was more continuous through the pins and had overall hook of about 3 more boards then the Proton. I definitely had a lot more miss room to the right of I leaked it out the reality would still come back and make the corner where the Proton would just loose to much not recovering.
I’m super excited to put the Reality to the test on long patterns I think this thing is going to kill it. For my first ever Global ball definitely exceeded my expectations!!!!

Mike here, I've been rolling this new ball for two weeks now. After a few adjustments with my stance and ball speed I've had a 290 game and a 267 game in the same week. This is a huge improvement for me because I'm a 190 average bowler. 3/26/21

The Reality is a clean versatile solid asym from 900 Global. Usually big solid asyms roll at my foot and don’t do much. They sit in my bag and wait for a “puddle” that I don’t ever see. The Reality is clean and continuous enough that I can use it on more medium patterns. This ball has been out of my bag a lot both on tougher patterns and on some easier. If you’re like me and wanted a more medium solid asym, the Reality is a no brainer!

The new 900 Global balls have been consistently great, and the Reality is no exception. It is not quite as aggressive overall as the Storm Proton Physix, but it is the strongest 900 Global ball that has come out of Utah thus far. That being said, it is just a small step down from the Proton. It has a very strong midlane roll which allows it to handle heavier oil conditions easily, but it is a little bit cleaner than some of the other higher end bowling balls. This allows it to handle transition easier. You can keep moving left with this ball until the head oil gives way, at which point the Zen or Honey Badger Revival come into play.
The Reality from 900 Global is the first ball without a bolt or star on the label that I have used since 2001. That is 20 years! The Reality has a big asymmetric core called Disturbance, and is wrapped in a solid coverstock called S84 Response and comes from the factory with a 2000 grit abralon finish. The numbers in 15lbs are 2.49Rg, 0.052 differential, and .018 intermediate differential. This is the strongest ball that 900 Global has produced to date.
I drilled Reality 4.5 X 3.5 X 2.5. This is the same layout that I have on my pin up Rubicon. With the out of the box finish on a freshly oiled 41 foot house shot, and comparing to a fresh 3000 surface on the Rubicon, the Reality is a little less responsive in the heads of the lane even though it has more surface, picks up in the midlane stronger, and has more forward roll through the backend of the lane. The Reality seemed to blend the fresh pattern a little better than did Rubicon ( Rubicon was a tad flippy on the backend comparably), because Reality slowed down sooner. As the lanes break down, the lower surface grit of the Reality makes it see the transition sooner than with the Rubicon, and I have to move deeper on the lane, and make moves more frequent to keep up with the oil depletion that is taking place. I usually only use this type of layout when bowling on house conditions that have a puddle in the middle, as it helps me blend out the pattern and keeps me inside the oil line and staying away from the dry boards, outside. One note of interest so far is that the cover has seemed to hold the factory surface very well, and has not really lane shined too quickly.
The way Reality reads the lane is different than what I have become accustomed to with my Storm and Roto Grip bowling balls, as a whole. The fact the Reality is a little easier through the heads and picks up in the middle of the lane while not being as responsive at the breakpoint, will be a big plus to compliment what I already have in my bag, moving forward. I definitely am looking forward to this exciting opportunity to use 900 Global bowling balls! Thank you for reading my review of the 900 Global Reality!
Reality
I have been so impressed by the Reality. I drilled it 45x4x20 and man does this ball hook! If I had to describe it in one sentence, I would say it’s a high-end, solid, asymmetric ball that hooks a ton WITHOUT being a big snow tire… which is hard to do! I think Global hit a homerun with the Reality and I have seen a lot of them on racks in tournaments which speaks volumes to me. Go get one, it’s that good!
The New 900 Global Reality is very eye catching, the colors are vibrant and really pop! I was excited to get the new reality into my hands as I was looking for a strong asymmetrical piece in my bag, and the reality did not disappoint at all. This Ball is definitely a go to on my Men's League which is normally a Heavier Volume House shot and this ball Performed Exceptionally well and had no trouble digging in to the fresh sauce applied to the lane. If you are looking for a Strong Rolling Ball that is smooth and continuous on the backend look no further. WoW :o !!!! This ball is really not afraid of oil! It's THE ball that I will use in first when I will hearing the word oil for sure !! It's a huge benchmark ball. The Reality reading perfectly the first part of the lane with his super strong S84 RESPONSE cover and his DISTURBANCE ASYMMETRIC CORE and continu the same smooth motion to the pins. For me, The Reality is really clean and smooth, so easy to play with no over react at the end. It's perfect also for the low rev player. My drilling is 70x 4 3/4x30. Another great #900Global product !! You need one !! #strinkingworldwide #900globalquebec

Global 900 Reality - S84 solid reactive coverstock - Disturbance asymmetrical core
2000ab grit factory finish - layout - 70 x 6 x 35
My first Global 900 ball turns out to be a blast of awesomeness! When I saw the picture of the core, I instantly contacted Mike Sinek, staff manager for SPI, that this was going to be a HOME RUN! The core is very similar to the RG Epic Battle from a few years ago and I scored a TON with that ball.
Fast-forward to 2021 and found the Reality to be super in length and holding a ton of energy into the pocket. Pin carry was exceptionally well. The motion all the way down the lane was very subtle and not ultra violent.
An Asys ball that still can be a benchmark ball for mid to heavy volume patterns may it be house or sport conditions. very similar to the Roto Grip RST-X1, just a little smoother in pocket angle.
Thanks again to Bret Bowlers' Supply, Inc and Vise Inserts for their constant support and tutoring...

The Reality is the new Hook Monster from 900 Global. What can you say about this other than WOW. I have yet to find a shot that this ball will not hook on. I thought my RST-X1 hooked, The Reality is at least 5 more boards for me. My biggest issue with Asymmetric balls is they mostly burn up too early with no finish. The Reality not only hooks up front, but also in the midlane, as well as the backend, with tremendous pin action. If you are looking for hook ball, this should be your first option, hands down.

The 900 Global Reality is the ball that gives you the most overall hook potential in this brands lineup. It’s a big core ball with the aggressive solid S84 Response coverstock. Its smooth, reads the lane from front to back but very strong continuous motion. When it gets too much early, I switch to the Zen to get down the lane. If it seems to be too much too early, you can also shine it. That always gives me the length I need to get thru the front part to save energy on the backend. If I bowled on more oil or on flatter patterns then I would keep it at the factory 2000 finish. My PAP is 5-1/8 and 1/8 up. Usually around 15-16mph, I’d probably be classified between and tweener and cranker.
Reality is the first Global 900 ball that I have drilled and def will be drilling more. This big asymmetrical ball is a hook monster. Ball reads the fronts very well and continuous down lane. This ball is wrapped with the S84 response cover and has seen a lot of action on a variety of patterns. This ball is very versatile and a def keeper in my tournament bag.

900 Global Reality
Disturbance Core
S84 Response Cover (Solid)
The Reality instantly found a spot in my heavy oil bag. Currently the strongest ball (for me) under the Storm/RG/Global umbrella.
After 12 games, I started to see a little lane shine and the ball started to add some versatility.
I can use this ball on a fresh medium-heavy house shot for about 2 games. Most strong, asymmetric solids (for me) are too much for any house shot.
The current 900 Global line is fantastic. Adding the Reality to my Zen and HB Intensity makes for a killer 3 ball combo.
When the lanes are flooded and you are having issues getting to the pocket, make sure you give the Reality a look!!

This ball is super strong, but really controllable as well. Great ball from 900 Global.

I bowl 75 pins series over my average. I have a 149 avg. Once I learn how to roll like the pros, that will be my big day. This was my first time using the 900 Global Reality. I love it!

The Harsh Reality is the "second coming" of the Reality, only this time with A.I. technology included in the core, as well as a slightly lower RG (2.48), and slightly higher differential and PSA values at .054 and .019. What this translates to is extra traction in the front and middle part of the lane, and increased hitting power at the pins with A.I. implemented into the outer core. I drilled my Harsh Reality 5.5 x 4 x 4 which gives me plenty of traction throughout the mid lane and through the pins on fresh conditions. It's rare that I am able to play super direct angles with this ball due to my medium speed (16 MPH) and rev rate (460), but this really isn't the ball for that. I have found it's happy place seems to be left of 15 and right of 25. With some hand position and speed manipulation, anything is possible and doable, but everyone has their comfort zone and that's where this ball fits into mine. It is 100% a fresh oil ball due to the strength of the 902 Reserve Blend cover and A.I. asymmetric core, first out of your bag on league night or tournament day.
Got the last 13lb Reality, definitely pleased. Drilled it strong 4-4-2, as I bowl in one house with heavier than normal THS units of conditioner. It's strong off the end of the pattern, and has a continuous roll through the pins. Loving this ball, should have bought this ball sooner. Thanks Bowlers Mart.
