Motiv Pride Empire Review
While no longer in production, the Motiv Pride Empire remains a solid option on the used market for bowlers who need controlled length with angular backend motion on medium-heavy oil conditions.

Performance Analysis
The Motiv Pride Empire combines the proven Dominion Asymmetric Core with the Propulsion Pearl Reactive coverstock to create a ball designed for medium-heavy oil conditions. The 2.50 RG provides good length through the heads, while the .042 differential and .010 mass bias generate controlled angular motion on the backend. The asymmetric core design helps the ball transition smoothly from skid to hook, making it predictable for tournament play.
The 5000-grit factory finish on the Propulsion Pearl coverstock allows the Pride Empire to clear the front part of the lane cleanly before engaging the lane surface in the mid-lane. This combination works particularly well for rev-dominant bowlers who can take advantage of the 4-5 inches of flare potential. While the ball performs admirably in its intended medium-heavy oil niche, bowlers may find its versatility somewhat limited on lighter or heavier oil patterns, requiring surface adjustments to maintain optimal performance.

The Pride Empire is the newest ball added to our amazing arsenal from Motiv bowling. The Pride Empire has the Dominion™ asymmetrical core, also featured in the original Pride. Wrapped around the Propulsion Pearl Reactive cover stock. This Pride Empire gets through the fronts extremely well, and has a sharp response to friction down lane. The versatility in this ball is incredible, you can add polish to make the ball quicker down lane response or scoff the cover up and make it an earlier piece to the bag.

First impression of this ball is WOW! This ball is perfect for when your solids are starting to hook too much, but the lanes are still too wet to get into a ball like an Iron Forge or a Ripcord Velocity. This ball is the perfect ball for when the lanes are hooking. The amount of mid lane motion and continuation down lane is just straight amazing. If you're looking for the next pearl to drill, this one is it! Layout: 60x4 3/4x35 PAP: 4 9/16" Over 1 1/2" Up

The Pride is an amazing addition to the line and especially the Medium oil category on our ball guide! This new Propulsion pearl cover is a great advancement in the pearl technology that MOTIV has been developing. You'll see hints of the control that Infusion HV Pearl had provided in the past, while providing that stunning backend reaction that we've all grown to love out of Infusion Pearl and Infusion MVP. The Dominion core paired with this new cover creates an awesome and versatile transition shape. The core wants to read the midlane while the cover wants to rip off the spot downlane creating a ball that clears the fronts easily while not losing midlane traction and still maintaining a ton of energy to change direction on the backend. I am super excited to throw this ball more and more! Another home run from MOTIV! MOTIV Staff
