Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
The Radical Snapshot features the Radical Snapshot Symmetric Core paired with the HK22C+ Pearl Reactive coverstock, creating a ball designed for medium oil lane conditions. With an RG of 2.52 and differential of .050, this ball offers moderate flare potential of 4-5 inches, making it an ideal benchmark piece for most bowlers’ arsenals. The symmetric core design provides predictable roll characteristics that are easy to read and adjust to, while the pearl reactive coverstock allows the ball to get through the front part of the lane cleanly before making its move on the backend.
The 1500 grit polish factory finish enhances the ball’s length characteristics while still providing enough surface to grab in the oil. This combination makes the Snapshot particularly effective on typical house shot conditions where bowlers need a ball that can handle medium oil volumes without being too aggressive. The ball’s positioning in Radical’s Reliable Line reflects its intended role as a dependable option that bowlers can turn to when they need consistent, predictable ball reaction. While it may not have the hook potential of higher-end asymmetric pieces, its versatility and user-friendly nature make it a valuable addition to any bowler’s bag.

Snap Shot. I drilled mine 5x30. I found the Snap Shot to be the strongest Radical Bowling Technologies symmetrical pearl I have ever thrown. It requires oil to get down lane and it's very responsive to friction. Very strong ball.
I drilled the Radical Snapshot to be a more responsive ball than my Radical No Doubt for fresh conditions and boy does it deliver! The Snapshot features a newly designed Super Symmetrical core RG 2.523, a DIFF of 0.050, and the new sensational HK22C+ cover. This combination gives the Snapshot great length and a quick change of motion, unlike anything in the current Radical lineup! I can play right on the edge of the friction line with the Snapshot, and it glides through the fronts, giving me great backend motion and superior carry. It is best suited for medium oil conditions, and when they get sloppy, or the heads burn out, time to put this one away and go to the Radical No Doubt. Both these symmetric pearls are eye-catching and give you the performance you expect from Radical. Overall, I would say the Snapshot is 2-1 less overall hook than the No Doubt, but a much quicker response to friction. Snap shot I’m a left handed bowler with a ball speed around 14.5 mph. My Rev rate is around 275 rpms. I recently punched up this ball. My layout choice is 80 x 3 1/2 x 20. I must say. It is a great addition to my arsenal. With the HK22C pearl cover it great length down the lane. And with the new core design and layout. It has a strong backend. Thanks Radical Bowling Technologies for making this ball. It great addition. Thanks, Robert Way
Just got it drilled through it last week in league. Hits hard, move left if your a righty.
