Performance Analysis

The Storm Electrify Gold Orange features the Storm Circuit Core paired with the Reactor Pearl Reactive coverstock, creating a ball designed for medium-light oil conditions. With an RG of 2.51 and a relatively low differential of .030, this symmetric ball provides moderate flare potential of 2-3 inches, resulting in a controlled and predictable ball motion. The pearl reactive coverstock allows the ball to read the lane cleanly through the heads while providing a smooth, continuous backend reaction rather than an aggressive snap.

Video reviews suggest this ball performs similarly to other light oil options like the IQ Emerald, offering bowlers a reliable choice when lane conditions break down or for naturally lower-oil patterns. The symmetric core design makes it forgiving for bowlers of various skill levels, while the pearl coverstock provides enough backend motion to maintain pin carry without being overly aggressive. As a discontinued Storm Hot Line performance ball, it can often be found at attractive prices on the used market, making it a value-oriented option for bowlers seeking a dependable benchmark piece for lighter oil conditions.

The new Electrify GO brings back the same core and coverstock found on the original Electrify pearl but is finished with the new Reacta Gloss polish. The Gold/Orange colors really brings great shelf appeal for pro shops but also looks great going down the lane. The circuit core was designed for medium to drier lane conditions and does just that. It is not the strongest pearl in the bag but definitely great for leagues in centers where there is a lot more friction or if your ball speed is low. It is also a great step-down ball from current balls such as the phaze 5 or night road depending on your style. The Reacta Gloss finish gives a more rounded, more continuation finish then we saw in the original pearl. Compared to the Electrify Solid, you will see a few more feet of length and a faster down lane response. If you use an Electrify Solid as your go to league ball, you will want to have the Electrify GO in your bag as well. Adam Chase Storm Staff

T his ball nothing like the solid electrify. It doesn't seem to hook on medium lanes and the track is very tight. Not good ball for me Thanks

The newest edition in the Hot Line, is well, pretty hot. The Electrify G/O offers the Reactor Pearl coverstock finished in Storm's new Reacta Gloss Polish. I've never been a fan of polished equipment out of the box, but the G/O surprised me with how well it blended off the friction. Compared to the original Electrify Pearl, the G/O seems pick up a little earlier and bite more on the backend. I drilled my Electrify G/O 4.5x4x2.75, and it surprised me of how dynamic it was down lane. To compare it to a ball similar in my current bag, it is fairly close to IQ Emerald in terms of use. It is very helpful when I need to clear the fronts and mids when the lanes break down and I cannot throw my Zen anymore. Oliver Lawson Storm Staff

Storm’s new Electrify G/O is a Symmetrical piece that is good for Dry lane conditions. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Fragrance is Creamsicle Pie. Drilled this piece with the Pin to the Right of the Ring and CG kicked out 1”. Out of Box motion was Clean through the fronts with a smooth continuous motion on the backend. When the lanes get burnt up and nothing is getting down lane this is the piece to go to.

The new Storm Electrify G-O is the definition of bang for your buck. This ball hooks way more than I thought it would, and way more than its price point says it should. This ball picks up even earlier than the Phaze 5 and quite a bit more than the Hustle Camo, which is the ball I compared it to in my YouTube ball review. I will be using this new Electrify a lot on house shots that have built in friction because of the polished cover it has on it. If I am going to use it on heavier volume oil patterns, I will most likely be hitting this ball with a 1000 or 2000 sanding pad. Finally, the colors on this ball look amazing and I can read it easily going down the lane!
