Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
The Ebonite The One Reverb features the Centrex Symmetrical Mass Bias asymmetric core (2.46 RG, .056 differential, .027 intermediate differential) wrapped in the HK22C GB 15.1 Pearl Reactive coverstock at 1500 Grit Polish. This combination creates a ball that stores tremendous energy through the heads and midlane, then unleashes it with powerful angularity at the breakpoint. The Cohesion additive in the HK22 coverstock formula adds an extra dimension of backend response.
The .027 intermediate differential is one of the highest in the Ebonite lineup, giving The One Reverb exceptional track flare and continuation through the pins. The low 2.46 RG means the ball begins its rev-up early, but the polished pearl surface keeps it moving down the lane before the angular break occurs. With 5-6 inches of flare potential, this ball generates impressive pin carry even when the entry angle is slightly off.
Who Is This Ball For?
The One Reverb is built for advanced bowlers who want maximum angularity from an asymmetric pearl. Crankers and high-rev players will unlock the full potential of the .027 intermediate differential, creating devastatingly sharp turns into the pocket. Tournament bowlers will appreciate this ball as a strong angular option for patterns where length and backend are required. It can also serve as a fresh-shot angular piece for league bowlers who need something that creates angle on medium to heavy oil.
The Pros
- • Powerful asymmetric core with high .027 intermediate differential for maximum angularity
- • HK22C pearl coverstock with Cohesion additive delivers explosive backend reaction
- • Low 2.46 RG creates early rev-up with strong continuation
The Cons
- • Aggressive backend may be too much for lower-rev bowlers to control
- • Pearl cover may struggle on very heavy oil patterns

Great ball to use. A huge step up from a beginner ball but easy to understand how it tracks on the lane and hit the pins

We drilled this ball up just a few days ago and it has 2 practice games on it. 257 & 248. I'm looking forward to league tonight because this ball likes to strike. Ebonite put a lot into this ball. It has the HK22 base along with cohesion & Game Breaker additives. The core numbers tell you it wants to flare, and it wants to hook. They added compound to help get it down lane and save the good stuff for the pins. I really like what I'm seeing so far. The other thing I like is the dark colors. When the ball rolls down the lane the colors aren't distinctive & distracting, they blend together so you just see the ball motion. I think this will be a nice piece.
The One Reverb by Ebonite is the most angular ball in the one series, per Ebonite. I agree 100%! The last two weeks of league, this is the only ball I used. Just keep moving left and throw it right. The ball does not quit and goes through the pins like no other ball . This ball is fun to throw!
An amazing bowling ball that consistently breaks where I need it and drives all the way through the pocket.

I drilled my Ebonite the One Reverb to be a great all-around pearl asymmetric for both house shots and sport conditions, and it fits the mold perfectly. I went 55 x 4.25” x 30, and with the DOT technology, you can drill anywhere without worrying about the location of the locator pin. The One Reverb builds on the success from The One Remix, adding length and angularity with HK22 along with the Cohesion additive, and is polished to ensure it reads the backend harder than any other ball in The One series. I see about 2-3 feet more length than The One Remix, with similar total hook. I have used it on Harry Smith 41’, Autobahn 42’, 41 ft. THS, and Red Square 40’ all with very good success. If you are looking for a ball that doesn’t quit, and is controllable enough for the tough stuff, then The One Reverb is for you. Order yours now from Bowler Builders Pro Shops!
