Don't change. [Music] >> Got no regrets. I'm on the run. Chasing the check. Dropping the top. Riding the vet. Feeling myself. What you expect? You know I'm with it. No better feeling cuz I could have quit but I didn't. When I'm on a mission. >> So if you know the one reverb was one of my favorites. So, honestly, I feel like they just took the green out and gave us
the one ovation. And this is a hybrid. I hope it's good. Maybe stronger, maybe cleaner, probably cleaner. You know, it's always typically, you know, a little cleaner, a little quicker off the spot. So, hopefully that's what we get here. But, you know, the one is a tried and true for the brand. So, you have again a lot of options within the Ebonite brand. I mention every time like we do a video on a ball like this or even a track ball. Two very very underrated brands that you
really just can't miss with. I don't care which one you pick up within the line. They all work right. We talk about the one talking about the new entity Turbo X GB anything. You're really good to go. So again, we going to start uh with the full game and we gonna kind of fill it out like you know I'm going to throw a couple shots probably a little straighter and then I'mma gradually move left depending on how quick a responsing response ball this is. So but we're going to figure this out together guys on a little journey with the one. Hopefully we get a
standing ovation. Hopefully. But uh hey man like subscribe links below for everything where I met. Appreciate those guys having some lanes for me. And then Bowler Bowlers Edge Pro Shop, they have everything that you need. And then whatever your local pro shop doesn't have, hit the bowlers. They for sure got it. So, on to the next one, guys. Let's get to the lanes. All right, first shot. I'm going to stand a little further to the left, but it's a decent amount of oil, so I don't know what we're going to get.
We're going to get a strike. What? Of course, we're going to get a strike, man. You know, it's ebonite ball. They strike a lot. Definitely inside of where I was kind of looking at. So, I'm curious. Is it going to hook back if I get a little further to the right or I have to keep it in and I just need to move my body to the right. Right. [Music]
So, only ball I threw in this lane was the Mantra Solid. So, it's not that much breakdown, but I'm definitely seeing a difference in core like how it's this ball is shaping. Again, just looking at it, I get Zen 25 vibes, but this is again a much more aggressive bowl. [Music] So again, a little too far to the left for
again still pretty fresh oil just what it is. All right, big jump to the right. Let me get to 20 with my feet. That's a little forward. Yeah, that's what happens. Yeah. got to the bottom and just fly my pinky or index finger ring finger. I'm sorry. Just couldn't lift. All right, I'm going to stay here. See if we can't can just throw a good shot.
Yeah, getting all the continuation in the world. That ball really exited, you know, pretty much the apen out. I get it. I get it. I think I said I was going to start with a full game and I like hit the reset button a couple times already. So, we're just not going to say that this was started a full game. So, definitely all you need right there. Like 100% all
you need. And for a a pearl or hybrid bowling ball, right, it definitely feels like it's enough traction, right? I think after, you know, practice on most house shots, you can go to this ball. >> And if you really wanted to, uh, you know, use a game one, just knock a little bit of this compound off, you know, 20,000 pad. That's it. I need a little 2,000. [Music] >> That feels pretty good.
>> Yeah. So definitely can slow down and watch this ball get quicker and quicker and but I think for what I want to do naturally this right here after practice probably like halfway into game one this ball's in play for me again the one core has like massive numbers you know I think still a medium you know 25 but has like a 58 differential and I believe like a 18 intermediate. Yeah, all the information is on the screen.
All right, I'm going to cheat this up. Couple boards left. I'm going to move again to closer to 23 with my feet. [Music] Yeah, that almost took it out. But that's again not the best shot. Um, but just trying to cheat, but I got to keep my eyes really focused on a break point. stay in the same spot.
Yeah. So, just really you can see that ball doing what it's supposed to be doing. And yeah, I think the only one I really did not like was the whatever the one was before. I think it's the Encore. It's the only one I did not like. But the when they first brought it out, the one amazing. [Music]
Yeah. Throwing wood everywhere. Just what you know from, you know, ebonite or the one. I think you you get that here. And I just don't feel like it's a miss. Like drill it however you want. I wouldn't drill it too crazy strong because I feel like it's going to you could make it forward really easily. But again, if you're a straighter bowler, you know, or don't have as much hand as I do, you know, going with your normal layout, I don't feel like you need to do anything particularly special with it to make this ball work. So, whatever your standard is, I would go with that.
See, a little further to the left, right? Inching like 26. I don't get to like 30 foul line. So definitely that ball is just, you know, I hate to sound like biased to this type of stuff, right? Oh, this is good. I'm striking. Like I am. So it makes it a little easier for me to say that. And it just outshot. But y'all seen me have bowling balls that I cannot strike with. You know, like there's
plenty of like, you know, Cipher Pearl was one I was just like, "Yeah, I can't strike with this one." Hyperdrive is another one I struggle with. IQ Tour AI struggle with that one. I got to dig into the archives uh to for the moto balls because lot this year has been like pretty really really good. But like the price like dynasty I think was the last one I just like yeah this not for me. This is 100% just for sport shots. [Music]
Oh god. Elbowed it. Yeah, you elbowed it. That's what you get. That is what you get. All right, I'm just going to throw five shots. Best of five. Whoever guesses, you know, how many strikes I get? comment below. We going to give away a free coolwick polo. [Music]
>> Yeah. Next five. Again, just comment below. You know, we can watch to the end. And again, you made it this far. I appreciate you. And the one reverb like the ebonite like not I feel like they don't typically do as well on um online on YouTube. So, let's see. >> All right. A little further to the left.
Oh, I spun it a lot. Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. I really like the colors on this ball. Like it just looks really good. >> Like red and silver, black. >> Uh crossover.
Yeah. So far again, when I don't throw it bad, it rolls pretty good. And this is really the difference between like me not being in like serious practice that you're just going to I have a errand shot or two. >> Oh, cuz this is all muscle memory. Yeah. You want to throw one more? We going to
get out of here, man. We're not going to keep you here all day. I think you guys get it. His ball is pretty strong. Definitely still on the rolly side, but again, if you're familiar with the one series balls, like this is right up his alley. Um, if y'all want to see, you know, other stuff compared to it, let's talk about it, get in the comments.
Oh, no. But that's it guys. Man, appreciate you guys as always, man. Buy some of the merch. Hopefully, again, the new news are on the way. This is a just bullshy, so people wondering like, "Hey, what's you got to support creators um and when they come out with cool stuff like like to buy it." So, hey man, but get to JustB TV. I think it's just TV.com, I think. Go check them out. But, um, yeah, we got a lot of fun stuff on the way. Hopefully, we get some more collabs. >> Got a couple ideas. Anyway, hit like
button. Till next time. They flock on. I'mma keep it moving. Put the music up. I'mma keep them grooving. You sleeping on me? Just keep snoozing. [Music]
Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
Testing on the crown jewel house shot pattern (43 feet with heavy midlane oil and dry boards) revealed that the Ebonite One Ovation delivers a noticeably smoother backend reaction compared to its pearl-coverstock sibling, the One Reverb. Independent reviewers observed that the hybrid coverstock produces a slower, more controlled response off the spot rather than the sharp, flippy motion of the original. This characteristic became increasingly apparent as testers moved to wider angles and more oil volume. The ball demonstrated strong pin carry when thrown into the pocket at tighter angles (around boards 20-25), with clean pin action and solid energy transfer. However, when pushed into the deeper oil or thrown on steeper angles toward the dry boards, the ball’s response delayed noticeably, requiring adjustments in speed and release to optimize reaction.
The key finding from testing was that the One Ovation favors a rev-dominant release approach rather than speed-dominant play. Testers who reduced ball speed and increased revolutions found the ball significantly more controllable and responsive in the midlane. Conversely, bowlers who maintained higher speeds through heavy oil reported that the ball struggled to build the angular motion needed on wider angles, resulting in delayed backend motion and reduced entry angle into the pocket. Surface prep remained consistent throughout testing, confirming that the hybrid cover formulation—rather than any surface treatment—accounts for the traction and response differences observed. This ball proved most effective when played relatively straight into the pocket rather than attempting wide-angle approaches on fresh oil conditions.
Who Is This Ball For?
The One Ovation is an excellent choice for rev-dominant bowlers and those with moderate ball speed who struggle to control more aggressive, flippy reactive equipment. Bowlers who generate significant revolutions but lack the speed to manage pearl covers will find this ball’s controlled backend response allows them to play straighter angles comfortably while still benefiting from strong core dynamics. This makes it particularly valuable for intermediate and advanced players looking to add a versatile medium-heavy oil option without sacrificing control.
Conversely, speed-dominant bowlers should approach this ball cautiously on fresh oil. The One Ovation will require either additional surface preparation (sanding) or lane transition to oil dry-down before it becomes truly responsive off the spot. If you rely on higher ball speeds and typically need reactive equipment with snappy backend motion, you may find this ball underwhelming until backends dry up. However, once lanes transition, this ball’s slower, more measured response could become an asset, making it a solid long-session option for complex oil patterns that require controlled angle play rather than aggressive angular motion.
The Pros
- • Perfect 10.0 pin action with a .056 differential and .027 intermediate differential generating massive flare
- • The highest intermediate differential in Ebonite's lineup creates an unmistakable breakpoint
- • Hybrid coverstock with polish provides a versatile blend of traction and length
- • Low 2.46 RG creates heavy roll and energy retention through the pin deck
- • Strong value at $159.95 for a ball with flagship-level specifications
The Cons
- • Extreme hook potential (9.5) requires careful line management and speed control
- • The aggressive core specs may overwhelm lower-speed, lower-rev bowlers
- • Despite the 8.5 versatility, the sheer power of this ball limits its range on lighter conditions

This ball is so perfect it’s a new ball in seven year and I love the way it reacts
Ark, United States
The Ebonite Ovation is a very nice compliment to the Entity. Once the lanes start to transition, this ball is the perfect step down from whatever big ball you started with. It is stronger down lane than I expected, I wouldn't say flippy, but there is a strong change of direction and great continuation through the pins. I would say it most reminds me of the Track Theorem that came out a few years back. This is a very good shiny hybrid.
BALL SPECS Pin Length: 2 to 3 Starting Top Wt: 3.0 oz Ball Weight: 15 DRILL PATTERN Pin to PAP: Demo Day Drill–Pin above fingers on vertical grip center line - MB in thumb BOWLER INFO: Style: RH Stroker – Speed Dominant Rev Rate: 260 Ball Speed: 16 -17 PAP/Track: PAP: 5” and 5/8" up SURFACE PREP Box Finish LANE CONDITION Kegel Rt 66 (45’) – V2 modified to 25 mls House Shot COMMENTS This One can be used all night on the house shot. I start close to the friction and can stay there with speed adjustments and small moves on the approach. On Rt 66 it’s a very good game 2 and 3 ball for me. The hybrid cover of the Ovation will read the lane a bit sooner and is not as sensitive to oil as the Reverb. The ball reaction is more of an arc toward the pocket with the Demo Day drill, but it will cover some boards if the lanes allow it. I’ve had good luck with this ball, and so will you. Thanks for reading this review. Good bowling to all!
Been my go to ball for a little while, sanded the polish with 2000 pad reads the lane nice . Start on 22 maybe move to 26 by game 3 just carry’s very well.
