Performance Analysis

Performance Analysis

The 900 Global Eternity combines the asymmetric Epoch core with the S84 Response Pearl Reactive coverstock to deliver a ball designed for medium-heavy oil conditions with emphasis on backend performance. The 2.49 RG provides good length through the front part of the lane, while the .050 differential and .014 mass bias work together to create the 4-5 inches of flare potential that generates strong angular motion when the ball encounters friction. The Storm Reacta Gloss factory finish enhances the pearl reactive coverstock’s ability to get through the oil cleanly before making its move.

The Eternity’s performance profile makes it most effective on medium-heavy oil where bowlers need length but want more backend reaction than a solid reactive would provide. The S84 Response Pearl coverstock offers good traction in the backend while maintaining energy through the heads and midlane. However, this same design limits its versatility - it may be too aggressive for lighter conditions and could struggle to read the lane properly on true heavy oil volumes where a solid reactive coverstock would be more appropriate.

Bowlers Say

Bowlers praise the Eternity as an excellent replacement for the Altered Reality, featuring the same S84 pearl coverstock with the new Epoch asymmetric core. They consistently note its clean front motion, strong backend continuation, and exceptional pin carry. Many describe it as more continuous and controllable than the Altered Reality, avoiding lock-up issues while maintaining angular motion downlane. The ball excels on medium to medium-heavy oil conditions.

Great ball at a great price. I already won prize money using the ball at my first tournament.

The Eternity is the perfect transition ball for my arsenal. It provides a clean angular motion and compliments the stronger smoother balls when the lanes begin to open up. The Eternity clears the fronts very well and sees great mid lane read with tons of continuation. The Eternity against the Altered Reality is cleaner with more angle. When the Altered starts to burn up/lock up transitioning to a ball like the Eternity will be an excellent option to go to.

The 900 Global Eternity features the S84 Response Pearl Reactive, Epoch core, and comes with the reacta gloss finish. This ball was thought to possibly be the Altered replacement, but I think it is a touch stronger and more continuous down lane. This ball is going to give a similar shape to the Absolute but be a ball up. For me when the Absolute is going just a bit too long, I can ball up to the Eternity. Compared to the Exotic Gem, the Exotic feels a bit earlier and more forward off the spot. The Eternity will sit in my bag with the Absolute as a one-two combo. Another great release from the 900 Global line. Tobias Myers #GoGobal #StrikingWorldWide

900 Global’s newest 900 Series ball is a slight revamp of the Altered Reality. The Eternity has the same S84R Pearl cover and two of the three colors of the Altered. The new Epoch Asymmetric core yields an RG of 2.49, differential of 0.050 and PSA of 0.014. I drilled mine 5 x 5.5 x 2 and when I first started throwing this ball I knew it was going to be even more popular than the Altered Reality. I feel like the Eternity his a hair cleaner and doesn’t rev up as quick as the Altered did. It also continues way more on the backend than Altered did. I can see myself using the Eternity right out on the fresh or it could be the first bigger pearl ball out of my bag once the lanes starting to transition. This ball will be going with me to almost every tournament in my up coming future and this will be the most popular pearl ball on the market today!

The Eternity from 900 Global is the perfect 1-2 combo. With the S84 Pearl Coverstock, it likes to clear the fronts very well with a lot of control in the midlane. Compared to the Altered Reality, this one is a little bit cleaner and controllable but compared to the Absolute, it is weaker front to back. It is the perfect ball for when the lanes are on fire!
