The Reality series gives you powerful options in multiple shapes to tackle the toughest lane conditions. The newest 900 series release brings back the super popular S84 Response Pearl that was featured on the Altered Reality. The Altered built an amazing reputation for clean, sharp motion and bringing that shape back to the line was a must. Global added an new core called Epoch to the cover to create the Eternity. The Epoch core makes an improvement on the design by refiguring the idea behind the original break cores to help the ball store energy even better. The resulting team-up gives you an abundance of clean, sharp readable motion. I tested the Eternity in league. I threw it a couple times in practice just to get an idea of how it looked on the fresh pattern. I was plenty strong, but is so clean and reactive that our high volume, long house pattern made it look a bit over/under trying to play the track. I put it away to try it game 3 which is where I had hoped to find a use for it. The fronts break down alot because of friction in the surface up front but the high volume they use to combat that early causes the lanes to stay pretty tight down-lane. This can give you the nightmare scenario late where you have to fight the ball through the front and when you do, it doesn't want to recover down-lane. It takes away a lot of area that should be there on a pattern this high ratio, and really favors guys with the higher ball speed and lower revs who can stay right all night. The Eternity became the great equalizer for me as the cover is clean enough to clear the fronts but the core gives you so much sharp down-lane motion that it has no problem reading the spot and recovering from getting right down-lane. Another characteristic that it shares with the Altered is the ability to create a great amount of angle in a small window down-lane which gives you a lot of area to not just get to the pocket but also carry. I would recommend the Eternity for anyone who wants/needs to see a lot of motion down-lane. If you bowl anything with a remotely longer format this ball is going to be a great addition to your bag. Being able to overpower the backends without fearing the friction up front is essential.

This is very similar to the previous Altered Reality, but better! Comparatively, this piece is cleaner and more continuous than the original Altered which means this ball is more versatile across the boards. I put a 5-1/4” pin with 2.5” pin buffer which puts the pin high above my bridge so this piece will be clean thru the fronts and have a continuous strong motion once it sees the friction. Compared to my Exotic Gem, this one is more forgiving, and I can get deeper inside with this ball and know it will retain enough energy to kick out the corner pins. Put a little surface on it and it will dig into the oil for a great mid-lane read. This new core/cover combination is truly a winner that is great for a variety of conditions and player styles. Layout - 55 x 4 1/2 x 25 Likes: The ball is clean through the heads and strong off the spot. I would not say it is exactly the Altered Reality but is pretty darn close if you’re looking for a replacement. I love that I’m able to play all parts of the lane with this ball on a THS. This is my new benchmark ball, first out the bag for league night. Dislikes: Ball got a little dirty quickly and needed to be cleaned and polished to get the pop back, other than that no complaints so far.

Layout: 4.5 x 4.25 x 4.5 (60 x 4.5 x 70) Surface: Reacta Gloss The new 900 Global Eternity is essentially the replacement for the discontinued Altered Reality as it has the same s84 Response Pearl Coverstock. The main difference is the core which is the brand new Epoch Core. This core was designed off the Break Core to be more continuous due its decreased intermediate differential. I was able to test this ball on my typical 44ft house pattern as well as a 41ft bear sport pattern. On the house pattern, I saw a long and continuous angular motion. The motion to me was not very sharp but had a strong continuous motion in the back part of the lane. This actually gave the ball more versatility for me as it gave me the ability to play more up the lane on the fresh while still allowing me to move further left with my feet as the lanes broke down. The reacta gloss finish gave me a lot of additional length for my style which was not as beneficial due to my higher ball speed. A surface adjustment for me to 3000 grit abralon gave me a more predictable motion. Compared to an Altered Reality drilled and surfaced the same, I saw a 3 board weaker overall motion. For most styles, the out of box surface of the Eternity would be best as the second ball out of the bag compared to a solid Reality or Zen Master. On the 41ft bear pattern, I saw a lot of the same characteristics as the house pattern. Very clean through the front with a strong motion in the backend. The shiny finish again gave me slight over/under reaction. The duller surface of the 3000 abralon gave me a more consistent motion designed for the heavier oil volume. Diff. 0.050 Finish: Reacta Gloss 900 Global’s new Eternity is an Asymmetrical Pearl piece that is good for Medium-Heavy oil conditions. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Rev Rate: 400. Speed: 16.5. Drilled this piece with the Pin up between the fingers and CG kicked out 1” from the palm and the Mass Bias 1” to the Right of the Thumb. Out of Box ball motion is clean through the fronts with a smooth motion on the backend. I took a 2k and 3k Abralon afterwards and it was still clean through the fronts with a stronger continuous backend motion. I compared this to 3 Pieces. Reality Check (Hybrid) was stronger by 2-3 boards. Reality (Solid) was 1-1 Right with a smooth controllable motion. Zen (Pearl) was 4-4 Right but started a few feet earlier in the mids with continuous backend motion. This is an Asymmetrical Zen. This is a good step down piece after the Reality Check. The all new Eternity (Altered reality 2.0) is a perfect replacement to the Altered Reality that was banned last season. This ball is everything that the Altered Reality was and just a little more. This ball has the same strong early roll, however, the Eternity is a little more continuous through the pins. The Altered Reality was a great piece,however there were limits to how far left I could get before I ran into carry issues. Eternity solves this issue, I am able to keep moving left without fear of losing carry percentage. I am extremely excited for this release, this ball will be a go-to in my bag for a long time! When I saw that a replacement was going to be coming, in the form or the Eternity, I was really excited. First let’s start with the colors, the silver, black, and purple as just stand out, with the yellow engraving. This ball looks amazing, but looks are not the only thing amazing about this ball. Using a pin down layout and a bigger pin buffer, I wanted to let this ball just go and that is exactly what I got. This ball has no issues clearing the front of the lane, while still being able to get in the hook phase in the right spot. I didn’t have to worry about this ball making the corner, as like it’s predecessor (Altered) this ball saves a lot for the down lane motion. I had this ball a touch less than the Altered, but that most likely is due to the difference in the layouts between the two balls. Comparing this to the Reality Check, drilled similar, the Reality Check is a couple feet sooner and was more forward down lane. The balls would play well off each other when the fronts start to get chewed up, you can get to the Eternity and still stay in the same zone for longer. I would see this ball being very good for a variety of styles, and see it excelling in a higher rev rate player later in blocks in tournaments. Overall another super stellar release from 900 Global. I like the smoothness and the crispness the S84 Pearl provides going down the lane. And because of its flexibility to surface adjustments, I quickly found the right traction that made my Eternity explosive! First, I took my Eternity to 1500-grit Abralon, followed by Storm Step 2 (320-1500 grit compound). And the S84 Pearl performed excellently throughout a night of league play. Again, I found the S84, cleared the heads smoothly, and established excellent traction early on fresh oil in the mid-lane. And I really liked how the S84 response Pearl was smooth yet crisp of the pattern all night. And lastly, I liked how the S84 Pearl didn’t become erratic or “jumpy” as the night went on, allowing me to enjoy a smooth, continuous, and predictable motion all night long. Has anyone ever been excited about the new 900 Global Eternity? Wow is all I have to say. Yes it has some back end to it indeed. I threw it for a few games out of the box, It didn't really click with me, lol..I'm 49 years old. So I hit it with a 3000 pad and it really fit into my bag. Especially after a little lane shine. For me, its still a deeper playing ball. The most recent, I hit a 749 with it last Thursday. Standing 28 with my left foot, at the arrows looking at 16-17, and getting it out to 8-10 and she comes back really nice. The S84 Response cover and the new Epoch Asymmetric Core, we are in business! Its a lot easier to read this ball going down the lane, so it makes it a little easier to make some moves. I ended up my series standing 32 with my left foot, and at the arrows 18-20, and ended up getting it out to 8-10 still. It was a fun night indeed. I cant wait to bowl again!

OH BABY. I was super excited for this one, the Reality line has been my favorite from 900 Global (including the Zen). The same covers from the Reality’s wrapped around a brand new Epoch Core give me exactly what I need from a high end asym pearl ball. This NEVER stops. This is the strongest ASYM pearl through the pins I have ever thrown. Some ASYM pearls get lazy quick and during tournament play you need to get in or get out of them quickly; that’s not the case with this one. The Eternity is eternally always great. It never quits at all, even when the fronts start going away this ball stores energy still. Every 900 Global releases has SLAPPED, add this to the list.

My oh my, this ball is extremely close to the Altered Reality. I honestly would take a case of these balls if I could. In my opinion this ball is about 2 boards stronger than the Altered with my standard 4.5x4x2 layout on them both. I did touch the cover with a light 3000 after I threw it for a few frames.

The Eternity is right in between an Altered Reality and a Volatility Torque, which both had the same cover (S84R Pearl). The Eternity has the same core numbers (but different core) as the Volatility Torque, which means it has a lower intermediate differential than the Altered Reality. The Altered got a little too forward for me at times and the lower mid diff in the Eternity helps keep the ball a little rounder and little more continuous. The Eternity is definitely a strong ball but the pearl part of the cover lets it get down the lane a touch. The ‘medium’ strength asym core stays smooth and continuous. The Eternity is a great new piece from 900 Global!

Cover S84 Response Pearl Reactive = Proven winner, Core Epoch Asymmetric = 900 Global history with a caveat (The intermediate differential has been reduced to prevent the ball from “locking up” or losing energy too quickly). Remember the Black Ops? Miss the success of the Altered? Look no further. Recent MatchMakers I worked at are showing the Eternity is a top choice for bowlers. For my review I tested the ball on two fresh house shots at two different centers along with the Altered Reality. The Eternity is a nice upgrade, not missing a beat. It is important to note I used a 5 1/2 x 5 x 5 - 2LS layout which is well suited to handle wet/dry conditions we see in our league environments. For me, the Eternity did not require any surface adjustments on the two house patterns I tested it on. I do not mind the Reacta Gloss oob finish and will evaluate over the next several weeks. I was most impressed that the ball easily glides through the front part of the lane and was very balanced in terms of hook off the spot and entering the roll phase. Many times you'll see asyms "quit" and roll weaker off the spot then we like to see. The Eternity does not do that and should provide a nice range of angles to attack the pocket. Compared to the Altered Reality, I feel both balls are very similar. The Altered was a little stronger and a bit tougher to control at times with my overall slower ball speed. In all honesty, it is splitting hairs. The Reacta Gloss finish on the Eternity has its advantages in terms of helping create length and I'm finding good control. This ball is special!!!! This intent and design was to replace one the best Asymmetrical balls created by 900 Global the Altered Reality. Now when I first threw this I noticed 2 distinct differences in the motion between the Eternity and Altered let me share my thoughts: 1) Eternity is much cleaner, where I found the Altered to lock up earlier and go more forward 2)The all new EPOCH CORE spins so much faster and it being wrapped in the S84 Pearl cover this ball is nothing short of continuous and strong downlane To me when you have a core/cover combo with this characteristic this will complement all styles of lane play Also makes the ball extremely versatile! Which is a quality we should all look for in an HP asymmetrical, after all these balls are a major purchase and why not get more for your money with a versatile product?! It’s a win win for all around and throw in some sweet colors and bam!

The overall strength of the Eternity took me by surprise. This is a ball that, despite having a shiny finish, absolutely needs oil in the front part of the lane to be successful. With that being said, the first game and set I shot with this ball was 300 and 815, so I very much love the reaction of this ball when my house shot is fresh. It has a lot of midlane roll, but still continues all the way through the pin deck in a very impressive manner. For my house shot, this is the strongest ball in my bag currently, and I follow it up with the Zen and Revenant.

The 900 Global Eternity features the new Epoch Core as an upgrade and replacement of the Altered Reality. Wrapped in the S84 pearl coverstock, the Eternity offers a significant amount of traction and response to friction. I drilled my Eternity 4.75x4x4, which is the same layout I have on my Reality. I was surprised at how fast this ball come off the spot, and it just keeps on going. The Eternity lives up to its name on how many boards it covers for me. I can see this ball being used on medium shots that have significant urethane carry down, or I can see it being used on longer patterns that require less surface. This ball is going to be fairly versatile on several conditions for me, and will be incredibly useful for those that have lower rev rates. Comparing the Eternity to the Storm Infinite Physix, the Eternity hooks 2-3 feet later and is much more angular. The Infinite Physix offers midline traction and smoother ball reaction.

The newest addition to the 900 Series in the Global Line is the Eternity and it’s been extremely impressive thus far. I was fortunate enough to do a ball video at the Storm plant showcasing the Eternity, so if you’d like to see my video review, check it out on YouTube. Not only are the colors extremely appealing, but the performance of this ball is great. With the new Epoch asymmetric core wrapped with the S84 pearl coverstock, the Eternity provides high performance and a ton of power going through the pins. I’ve drilled one so far and absolutely love it. It’s mapped out as 6 x 4 x 2 3/4.. This puts the pin above my middle finger and mass bias just to the right of my thumb. The closest ball to compare this to is the Altered Reality which was another home run in the 900 Global line. In my current arsenal, I’ve seen success using the Eternity when I need to create shape down lane. The pearl coverstock allows the ball to fly through the front part of the lane, dig in the mid-lane, then change direction nicely in front of the pins. When my Reality or Exotic Gem aren’t creating enough shape down lane, the Eternity is the ball I go to and it’s perfect. Go drill one!

The Eternity has a low RG value of 2.49 a medium differential of 0.050 and a medium intermediate differential of 0.014. 900 Global came out with a brand-new Epoch Core that was inspired from the original Break Core that was used in so many previous Global releases, Wrapped in the S84 Pearl Response Cover. The intermediate differential has been lowered on the core as compared to Break core to prevent the ball from losing energy and locking up. The core/cover combination should give an earlier and more aggressive shape into the pocket than the Realities and Zen. The S84 Pearl Response cover has increased the pore size to make it cleaner through the front and dig into the oil in the midlane lane and strong off the spot in the backend. Making the Eternity to cover a broad spectrum of oil conditions. I did a ball comparison to the 900 Global Altered Reality and the 900 Global Zen at 42 ft house shot, 25 ml of oil after the league was done. The layout chosen 35 x 4 3/4 x 15. In comparison to the 900 Global Altered Reality, the Eternity starts up quicker and is more aggressive off the spot verses the Altered Reality that’s a pinch cleaner and more rounded off the spot. Through the shots you will see how the Eternity and the Altered Reality are very similar even going 5 and 3 left they both keep up with each other. In comparison to the 900 Global Zen, The Zen has a big Mediate core and very close RG and differential numbers of the Eternity. The Zen as you see is very smooth through the fronts and mids and gradually climbs the hill to the pocket not as sharp as the Eternity. Did a shot here moving 5 and 3 left and Zen kept up with the Eternity. As per the surface adjustments, the Eternity at box surface is 500>2,000>4000, reacta gloss which will go really long but will be great on the medium to dry conditions. At 3,000 the Eternity blends the lane better and is not as sharp off the spot as box surface which will give you a little more forgiveness in the pocket. In the bag, will be the Reality, Eternity, Storm Absolute, Storm Hyroad Pearl

Eternity is the reintroduction of the S84 Response Pearl coverstock. This cover became a fan favorite on the Volatility Torque and the Altered Reality. While i never threw the VT, i had 2 Altered Reality's and the Eternity is definitely similar in shape. Eternity is a big cleaner and rounder overall, which makes it match up for me a whole lot better. Where the Altered Reality felt like it wouldn't cover a lot of boards or continue through the pins, the Eternity is smoother off the spot overall and keeps going through the deck in a way that makes this ball much more useable for me. Overall, Eternity is a big, smooth, strong pearl ball that still is more angular than the Absolute and cleaner than the Infinite Physix.

It features the S84 Response Pearl coverstock formula from the Altered Reality which is currently the strongest cover they use. The core is the new Epoch core, inspired by the original Break core, but with a reduced intermediate differential to prevent it from losing energy too quickly or “locking up” like stronger asymmetric balls tend to do. I’ve used the Eternity at a couple different surfaces on a couple different lane conditions. The Reacta Gloss box surface was inconsistent, so I resurfaced it to 1000 grit on a resurfacing machine, and then finished it with Storm’s Step 2 compound to polish it back up. I generally recommend changing/resetting all box surfaces to fine tune them for your game and the conditions you bowl on, or to at least help break them in faster or take the factory “edge” off. The Eternity, while definitely CLEAN for my wife and others, is fairly early and heavy rolling for me. It may also be SHARP for others, but is somewhat smooth and forward rolling for me. I don’t necessarily think it locks up, it’s just more forward off the spot for me. I don’t generally do well with chuggy, forward rolling balls that roll so heavy and slow down so quickly, so the Eternity was a very poor matchup for me. However, I think I’m the only one I’ve seen it look this way for. My wife’s is clean, sharp, and very READABLE, predictable, and consistent. My experience with the Eternity seems to be isolated to the point where I feel quite comfortable highly recommending it in general and especially as a replacement for the Altered Reality, despite not having great results with it myself.

The Eternity by 900 Global is no exception. This ball is so good. I am a big fan of the lower mid rang RG’s with lower PSA. The Eternity is a bit cleaner than say the Exotic Gem and Infinite Physix yet does not sacrifice motion or backend. The Eternity is smooth rounded and picks up down lane. The Eternity is a quicker down lane and just keeps going with strong continuation. The Eternity is a good compliment to the TNT. This ball will be a good addition to several play styles and can be a the first ball out of the bag on your typical house shot. It seems to let you play straighter and not overreact off the dry as well as moving in and can still get around the corner. The Eternity is another big hit by 900 Global a keeper for sure.

I drilled my ETERNITY 5 x 2 x 3. I have thrown it at box and then lightly hit it with a 2000 pad. While watching the other staffers in my area and on You Tube, it appeared to my eyes that this might be a really rolly/arcing type of ball. That is what I am seeing also. I compared it to ZEN and ZEN MASTER since those are the only two 900 Global balls I have right now. Compared to the ZEN, the ETERNITY was a little slower but rollier down lane. ZEN was more recovery. ZEN MASTER was earlier since it is a solid but it was also very rolly and looked like these two can play off each other for staging ball motions. Drill up a ETERNITY if you want a arcing type reaction when you have too much friction right and need smooth motion that doesn't over react off the dry.

Coverstock – S84 Response Pearl Reactive with all new Epoch – box finish is Storm Reacta Gloss. The Epoch Asymmetric Core is an ALL-NEW design that was inspired from the original Break Core that was used in any other 900 Global balls in the past. By changing and lowering the intermediate diff, it prevents the ball from locking or losing too much energy too soon and allowing a sharp backend recovery. The cover allows the ball to stay clean front to back of the pattern and you don’t have to get aggressive with drilling angles. The cover and core combo makes most patterns readable and allow you to stay in the ball longer during the course of league and tournament play. On stronger cores I started to use shorter pin 2 pap drillings because of my recent changes in fit, I don’t need strong drillings to make the ball aggressive. I found the Eternity to be very close to the Altered Reality from last year, just a tuned down version of it. During league the Eternity roll up to the pocket with a good bit of speed and angle and stayed consistent throughout the night and then later during some much-needed practice sessions. I feel it had a little stronger pin to pap drilling, it would be to over / under for me. The Reacta Gloss has held up very well over the course of the past several weeks on using the Eternity. The Matchmaker balls have been very versatile for all levels of bowlers and lane conditions. Even after 2 hours of lane play at Matchmakers, the Eternity still reacted very well and kept striking even on the burned-up lanes. The Reacta Gloss is holding up very well on the demo balls where the prior surface prep would have been used up. The 900 Global Eternity is the much anticipated sequel to the previously released Altered Reality. It shares the same S84 pearl cover but a different core in the Epoch asymmetric core. I drilled mine 5x4x2, I am a low track player, 480RPM, 14 degrees of tilt, 55 degrees of axis rotation, average of 16.4MPH. What I see is a much more rounded shape than I got from the Altered Reality. The Altered forced me pretty far left from the get go, and would sometimes see friction so quickly that it would lock up and go forward. The Eternity allows me to play a little further right and dictate a little more of the shape with my hand which is something I like to see. In my initial test on our THS, I was able to start in the track area and continue striking all the way into 6th arrow. Versatility is a definite plus with the Eternity. I did change the surface from box finish to my usual 500/1000/Step 2 to more closely mimic the old 1500 polish box finish that was used on previous polished releases. In sum I would say that this does make for a good replacement to the Altered Reality, just know in advance that you are going to see a slightly different shape.

Laying my Eternity out 50 x 6 x 30, I was looking for a tall pin that was going to be continuous down lane and float through the mid lane. I was able to accomplish just that. This ball has become a staple of my bag since release and gives me the motion I wanted from the Altered Reality but without locking up. For reference, bowling in bowl sport compliant and house leagues, this ball gets a lot of playing time. The 9-ball arsenal I carry around consists of a Reality, Eternity, X-2, Iq Tour, Zen, 2-Inch Pin C4, Phaze 5, Hustle Wine, Zen U. Some other pieces will sprinkle in depending on pattern, but keep it rather consistent to that. Whether on long, medium, or short I have found a way to incorporate this ball, and the way it rolls, into many different situations. It has been great on the fresh with a little surface, but also due to the nature of the Epoch Core it has been good on the urethane carry down when bowling on short as well. This is the well rounded, timeless, big asymmetric pearl I have been missing in my bag for some time from 900 Global. When taking it out of box, I immediately hit it with a wet 4000 just enough to break the shine and give me the out of box reaction I strive for. While the OOB finish may be what some need, I do this with all shiny finishes straight out of the box to help garner the ball reaction I look for with a 18+ ball speed and 450+ rev rate. If you are looking for that versatile big pearl ball motion, that will float the fronts, and hammer the corner down lane... You should look no further!

This was the ball that I had the most anticipation about. The core was something that came from a ball that I LOVED a few years back in the Black Ops with the cover of the Altered Reality. My anticipation was for good reason as this ball does not disappoint. Out of the box for me, it’s pretty clean in the fronts, It reads the mids well, then it makes this motion down lane which is strong but not bouncy off the dry. This ball takes surface very well and when I hit this ball with a 1500 pad It really brought the break point closer to me but it didn’t seem to lose that strong down lane motion. I wanted it to be a little earlier but 1500 was a little too much, so I added Step 2 to the surface and it was MONEY I actually drilled a second Eternity pin down and out of the box it was way too clean. When I hit this one with the 1500 pad it was perfect. Cleaner in the fronts, cleaner in the mids and very controllable down lane! The 900 Global Eternity is just that, a must have in the bag. The S84 Response Pearl cover in a genius. Where the Alerted Reality might fail and get too forward the Eternity rights itself and continues right through the pins. Monster of a ball on the backend. For me it's a Zen on steroids. Clean through the fronts with its pearl cover, enough midlane to not squirt on volume and a powerful but readable backend reaction. That's what impressed me the most. It's not crazy violent but by no means does it quit. For me Reacta Gloss finish is perfect. The pearl cover along with the box finish allows me and my slower speed to square up on heavier patterns as well as moving in and playing deeper lines when the pattern transitions. Extremely versatile ball overall. To compare its 5-6 boards stronger than my Zen, 3-4 more than my Zen Soul. The Soul touch earlier and smoother. It’s a perfect step down from the Reality when you need something cleaner and quicker downlane, but is a much stronger pearl than a ball like the Wolverine Dark Moss. The New Asymmetrical Pearl in the 900 Global line is the Eternity Pearl. The Eternity Pearl is a replacement for the Altered Reality that was part of the USBC hardness issue. I drilled my Eternity Pearl pin up with a 4 1/2 x 4 x 2 layout. I also hit the surface with a 500/1000 pads and added Storm Step 2. Reacta Gloss really doesnt match up with my ball roll. Step 2 has always been very consistent for me. Compared to the Altered the Eternity Pearl is a little cleaner and doesnt get as forward coming out of the midlane and back like the Altered did. Eternity has more shape downlane. So when the bigger solid Asyms start to labor a little like the Gem or Reality the Eternity Pearl is very good option. At my shop I suggest for bowlers to just pick their favorite drilling on this one as I think its that good of a ball. All of my customers really like the motion. I like it also and it just seems to carry very well with keeping the pins low. Great addition for the 900 Global line! I drilled the Eternity (5 x 4 ½ x 4 ¼), I use this ball when I need a bigger ball to read in oil. The cover is strong for a pearl, and the core is like the Reality. I didn’t use the Reality; the core and cover are very strong, and the amount of oil need never came into play. The Eternity with surface is enough ball for that purpose. A closer comparison is the Eternity to the Reality Check. 900 Global used a much cleaner cover to help the ball get down lane and I enjoy that much more. I love the colors and how this ball rolls down lane.

I am a higher speed, rev challenged 220-250ish, high tilt, high rotation, and super low track player, I drilled my 900 Global Eternity 5x3x2 using the Storm VLS and my axis point is 3 ¼ right and 7/8 up. I immediately changed the cover by hitting the ball with 360, 1000, and step 2 polish. The 900 Global Eternity for me is very clean and not as strong as I would have predicted. However, I did drill a 14lbs ball equating to a higher RG and smaller diff, which does not serve me well. If I were to drill another ball I would consider drilling a 15lbs ball, so I can get the benefits of the lower RG and bigger Diff. Overall, the ball is responsive and I see myself using this on Medium to lower volumes of oil. The Eternity was the perfect answer to what I was looking for and for many others as well. The Eternity is a perfect step down from the Reality which we have all grown to love and has been an essential piece in many people’s bag, adding as a necessity for the desired arsenal. When I got my hands on this ball, everything that I heard and had seen come from this ball lived up to be true. Is it clean through the fronts? Yes. Does it read the midlane? Yes, even with the reacta gloss finish. Does it provide a strong backend reaction? Yes. Lastly, can this ball be predictable? Thankfully, I have found this ball to be very predictable and you can easily play different parts of the lane with it. Again, it is a perfect step down from the Reality or any big asymm balls like the DNA or Gem. I have also found that the Eternity is a bit rounder than the Exotic Gem. The Exotic likes to roll heavy through the lane, so if you are looking for something that is just a tad weaker, the Eternity would be the better option. When I threw the ball, it did exactly what I expected it to do, which does not always happen with every ball. Any adjustments I made with targeting or my hand, the ball responded to those changes, I did not notice much over/under with this ball. Pearl asymms can tend to show that for me personally, so I end up taking off the gloss or altering the surface to what I need to put it to. Thankfully, as someone who loves reacta gloss, I am able to keep that finish on the ball. Lastly, the ball hits like a truck when it hits the pins! Summary: Overall, this ball gets an A plus! (A+) The Eternity is very clean through the fronts and gives a strong backend motion being a pearl asymmetrical ball! If you notice any over/under motion, hit it with a little bit of surface and it will create a little bit more pop hitting the dry. To compare to other equipment, the Eternity is a good step up from bowling balls such as the Phaze 2, TNT, or Zen Soul, and is a good step down from bowling balls such as the Gem, DNA, and the Reality. This ball loves oil and friction if you get it to the right zone. I would recommend a stronger Pin buffer or Val angle to utilize the responsiveness of the Eternity. For the Pin-to-PAP and PSA-to-PAP, I recommend stronger angles/arcs if you want the ball to read the mids sooner, and longer angles/arcs if you want the ball to skid further down the lane!
