hi i'm knife fans i'm tommy jones here and uh we're gonna show you the first game that i was able to bowl with a game breaker for the new game breaker coming out release date on march 18th pretty excited about it another benchmark ball for us to be able to use on tour that's symmetric so looking forward to to that so you'll uh you'll see that it's got quite a bit of continuous motion down lane this is just uh just a house shop but we went out there and uh

first game i got the bowl and a pretty good pretty good score here the the numbers for the game breaker are 248 and the differential is o48 it has the enhanced v2 core a little bit different from the uh the previous ones but a little extra technology on the top there the thing that i really noticed with this ball right off the bat was how it picked up in the oil but yet still still managed to uh slow down a little bit when i got it to the friction which is something that we're always looking for to give us the most uh margin of error

uh yeah we're just pulling on one lane here for this for the one game here that way i kind of get a little bit of transition to have to to move around a little bit nothing crazy obviously because it was just one game but if i'd gone back and forth i only got five shots in a lane opposed to a whole game so

uh the third frame here we tripped a four pin uh definitely just get up and make just a small little adjustment try to keep it you know maybe a little bit more on the oil to keep it from the friction because this ball is so strong

nothing uh nothing crazy so far i'm just out there making good shots this one get a little bit farther right see it just rolls off of it it gets uh gets to the pins nicely four frames in four strikes obviously a good start to the first game i get to bowl with this game breaker four um pleasantly surprised when uh got to see the color of it we don't on our side even though we know a ball is coming we won't always get to see the color of it so curious to see what comes out sometimes in the you know sometimes we

do ball tests and and we've got a couple different colors they won't know but this uh this red really stands out as it's going down the lane very different in the marketplace right now within the red [Music]

so now we're up in the sixth uh everything's going uh pretty good so far nothing uh nothing crazy balls just continue to let me just make a little normal little creep left a little bit continue to continue to make it high flush which is always a good thing something that definitely uh look forward to using on tour again you guys will be able to get this ball on march 18th it has the game breaker 12.0 gb cover on it comes out of 500 1500 c air it's a little bit duller but it will get some

lane shunt in it but the ball is very versatile if you want to use it as a benchmark ball you'll be able to put some shine on it but also be able to put more service on if you need a little bit more to be versatile for a lot of different styles balls making me look really good they're all going the same spot which is always a bonus so we got the front seven here i'm stepping on the a-frame haven't had to do anything crazy just uh you know my minor little moves move my feet one then move my eyes one and move my feet one and just things

normal little moves nothing crazy eighth frame here this one's uh gonna end up you know got a little bit ahead of it there i'll stay there for the next shot see what happens go from there trying to see if they need a sub and league at

this uh at the bowling center here i think it was the ball and the lanes that were making me look really good here perfect through eight up in the ninth frame here

not a very good break to be honest i almost left the seven nine i was not happy you see i give it a little bar turn a little tap here because i'm not not thrilled about it but uh you know i know it's time to make a move because obviously the ball uh moved got up through the pins pretty hard there so go up here shoot our spare and then make the proper adjustment for the tenth frame and see what happens definitely uh definitely wasn't watching your spares and as you can see got

pretty lucky that that one made it i wasn't expecting shoe spare today so now after the one that went through them a little bit we're gonna make a little bit of a move we're going to move two with our feet try to uh maybe give it a little bit of a softer hand just because they're starting to break down just a little bit the ball does come with a little bit of surface on it so we're going to have to make some adjustments and see what happens

a little bit of over move here just a little too much out of it kind of whiffed this one you know a little whiff there that was a not not a very good shot on my part but again control the pocket gonna be able to shoot our spare nine spare maker spare we're bowling 260 here first game out of the box pretty good game i don't know what a lot of these people's uh at home that are watching the video what your moves would be off of uh certain things for for me after one kind

of gets behind it like that and leaves a little bit of a plinko 10 we're gonna you know i'll move a couple more left and try to try to get my hand around of it and get it to go through the pins here but with all that being said you just don't want to lose the pocket if you lose the pocket that's when things can get awry and your score can go go the wrong way so i'll probably move another two here and uh see if we can't get to shape through them get this one a little bit farther right try to get to go through them same thing a little bit behind them

I am a big fan of 2.48 & 0.048 RG & Diff numbers. I've liked every ball I've drilled that started with these numbers and the GB4 Hybrid is no exception. The polish on this hybrid allows it to get through the front part of the lane easily while the HK22 additive and big core allow it to stand up and hit down lane. I think this ball will be good on a variety of conditions.

It has been a very long time since I have thrown an Ebonite ball. Hybrid balls have worked incredible for me in the past and I had heard many great things about the Game Breaker line of bowling balls. I have to say that I am very impressed with the GB4 Hybrid. This ball has exceptional hook ability. With the added HK22 additive to this ball, the backend ball reaction is just incredible! I put a basic leverage drill layout in this ball. It allows me to move more left and open the lanes up, knowing the ball will recover. With my ball speed, I altered the surface a little to have the ball read more in the mid-lanes. When this ball sees friction, it responds with dynamic ball shape and motion which makes pins just fly everywhere. The big core with the HK22 additive makes this ball an incredible choice for all levels of bowling and is a must have in your bag. This ball for me works on heavier volumes of oil with my surface adjustment. Without altering the surface, this ball is very versatile and can be used on various lane of conditions.

Game breaker series continues to live up to its name. Wrapped with HK22 this ball is super good. Still pretty easy through the front and has a very quick response to friction. Lots of motion down lane. Performs well in medium volume of oil. Great for any players bag. Tournament players are going to love this one.

Ebonite's latest release, the GB 4 Hybrid maybe my favorite GB4, to date. Definitely fits right in between the GB4 solid and pearl versions. Goes a little longer than the solid with more rounded motion. But, not as long as the pearl, which has a more angular motion. The GB4 Hybrid with the added HK22 base, makes this purple/black beauty stand out in the mid performance category and on the lanes, too.

If you’re looking for a simple piece to round out your bag for house shot tournaments upcoming, grab this baby! Since getting this piece it has been a money maker for me. For a medium piece, this ball has a smooth rounded, and continuous shape. I love the variety of angles I’m able to play with this piece and how well it goes through the pins. Currently, through 9 games of use, I’m averaging 234 with it. Make sure to grab it and don’t miss out. You won’t regret it.

So, I am admittedly a little late to this party but as the saying goes, "Better late than never" and that is a very apropos saying with regard to the GB4 Hybrid by Ebonite. The GB4 Hybrid has the enhanced V2 symmetric core wrapped by a purple/black GB 12.0 hybrid cover with the HK -22 base. Factory finish is Factory Compound over 1500 Siaair. I have drilled 1, 40 x 4 1/2 x 30 and left it at box surface. I have tried it on fairly fresh THS but I've also tried this on broken down Kegel Lithium, another recreational pattern. In all honesty, several years ago I drilled the GB4 Solid (Red one) and never really warmed up to it. I just didn't like the shape that the GB4 Solid gave for my game. But, I saw the GB4 Hybrid made several TV shows last season and I've seen several of these in my travels at tournaments and liked what I saw. So, when the opportunity presented itself, I decided to drill a couple. I am actually very glad I did. What's interesting about this about the GB4 Hybrid is that the ball gets down the lane without difficulty but when the ball makes it's move, it does NOT jump and go sideways...it actually has a little more rounded shape off the spot. For a shinier ball to do that is, for me, a little unusual but it works very well for my game. I threw it for 2 games on Monday and liked what I saw so much that I immediately used it in transition during Tuesday night scratch league. (Normally I like to work with a ball a little more to understand its capabilities before deciding whether it goes into the arsenal.)Where the ball I was throwing forced me too far left and into a bad launch angle, I went to the GB4 Hybrid and moved back right. Every single time I threw it into the dry and thought it would go through the beak, it made its move and just set-up right before the pocket and carried every hitI think the GB4 Hybrid will be effective in transition when fronts are gone and there is friction to the right or on lighter to medium fresh patterns.
